food and staff were great not sure how we managed to spend as much as we did , drinks must have been extortionate

Cote Gl'ster is one of our favourite places to eat. Your food is consistently good, staff are friendly and professional. Your creme caramel is to die for. We'll most definitely see you again soon. 😁

Excellent meals and service. The only criticism was that some diners were put on the table next to us which was close together. Also the next two tables were taken too, although one of them left shortly after. There was no dividers and the worst of it was the rest of the restaurant was virtually empty. NOT COVID SECURE. Maybe you should review your seating arrangements.

Staff were friendly and welcoming even though hadn’t booked. Food was excellent and not long to wait.

Excellent experience. Great location. We were made very welcome by the lovely staff. The food was good simple, and good because of that, French cooking. We shall certainly return. I usually only give five stars for exceptional restaurants. But gave this five because of its simplicity. Loved it.

Friendly greeting when entering.Service with a smile from the waiter (even though we couldn’t see because of the mask).Lovely coffee whilst waiting for our brunch,my husband had the smoked salmon & scrambled eggs (came with toast,,but my husband wanted & asked for sourdough toast,& it wasn’t a problem,and he said it was very nice .I had croque monsieur,very nice.A minor constructive criticism,a little on the cold side (for me) from air con unit that seemed to blow down onto my back.Definitely would go back to restaurant again.

It was a very pleasurable experience with attentive staff and the meal was excellent and enjoyed by us all.

Overall pretty good. Nice busy vibe. No wait because we'd booked (you'd be advised to do the same). Service if anything over-attentive with a waiter who was trying so hard to be French I thought he was fake - and boy did he attempt to up-sell at every opportunity! I chose the Breton chicken which was a mistake (it tasted just like any old chicken). If you go to Cote probably best to eat steak and if you don't fancy that because you want something lighter (like me) go somewhere else.

The food was excellent . we had the chatebriand and its one of the best meals we have ever had. Dessert was delcious and the staff were attentive, service was fantastic .

Really lovely staff. Welcoming and accommodating. I have a dairy intolerance and I was still able to enjoy the food and coffee. We will be returning.

We had a lovely evening with great food but the evening was made by the two waitresses, they gave us excellent recommendations, were attentive and polite and we felt very safe with the covid regulations. Thank you very much.

Was sent this email 4/10/20 :- "Bienvenue! Enjoy a complimentary Kir Royale on your next visit" When we dined on 6/10/20 we were given something completely different. I had a Cheesburger which was fine appart from the single small piece of lettuce two slithers of tomato and one slither of onion which took up a lot of the wording on the menu but very little space on the plate!

Our visit this time was a true return to form! Very impressed and you made us feel extremely welcome. It will be great to see you again towards the end of October- well done and thanks for taking onboard my previous complaint 🙏

Food was good and the Service was excellent! Our waiter was informative and friendly. Bit too much garlic on the calamari for me but was still delicious.

I was nervous attending for lunch due to having an 11 month old baby and an 85 year old nan with me but the menu catered for everyone. The food was full of flavour, good portion sizes and well cooked. Staff were friendly and attentive and my nan has already asked when can we come back. Thank you

We felt safe and distanced when we dined on Saturday with our best friends. We had a great time, the food was excellent and the service friendly but professional. A very pleasant evening. Food was good and delicious, with exception of the fish pie dish (a favourite of ours) which was not as moist as usual and hence not as flavoursome. Very good service and staff were attentive. This was our first evening out at Cote since lockdown and we shall be back.

Had a lovely lunch at Cote Gloucester Quays. We sat outside the staff were very attentive and good with covid 19 cleaning and distancing. The food was excellent I would recommend visiting.

We had a really lovely meal. We were made to feel relaxed from the time we walked through the door. The food was superb so full of flavours we both will be returning at some point later in the month. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Staff are friendly without being intrusive and are working under really difficult circumstances. Food was tasty and hot Martini was a little too sweet for my taste but well presented

First time of us coming to eat and will not be the last. The service, the food and the atmosphere was perfect. We had both course within one hour. The lamb was beautifully cooked to perfection and my wife belly pork melted in the mouth. Keep up the fantastic service and food and you will always have customers coming. 10/10 A+++++++
