Great menu and on the whole, fantastic service. We love Cote Guildford, the breakfast menu is particularly fantastic value and consistently delicious. Since it opened in Guildford, it has been one of our favourites and in the 10 years and many visits we’ve had there, we’ve only ever had 1 or 2 very slightly disappointing instances (which have been rectified every time).

The only point that puts me off vis8ting Cote is the 12.5% service charge on every bill. I realise it is optional but you feel under pressure to pay this on the final bill. The amount given should be left solely to the customer and not included in the bill.

A busy Saturday night at Cote but the service was excellent and the food was its usual high quality . The waiter was really attentive and made the evening go smoothly

Very nice Italian waiter. Very good food. Just one comment - suggest you do not put pepper on child’s chicken breast. Apart from that everything was excellent.

Cote is always reliable. The food is excellent quality and well cooked. It has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff are attentive and friendly. What’s not to like?

My wife and I make a point that when shopping in Guildford, if lunch is on the agenda, then Cote is our preferred destination. The food is always beautifully prepared and served, the lunch menus are very suitably priced and unlike some venues the staff are always most welcoming and attentive. We will continue to book a table in advance so that the normally full house is not denied to us.

As ever a most enjoyable informal Friday evening meal at Cote Guildford. Not the best table in the restaurant but the food was excellent - chosen from the Premium set menu - and friendly and attentive service by Christian. We'll be back.

Food was good but the restaurant is too cramped. As a result it is really hard to have a conversation, it was extremely noisy. Service was good apart from the mixup on dessert resulting on them being delayed.

We had breakfast at the Guildford Cote this morning. We are regular returning visitors to this Cote. The food as always was delicious, substantial and hot. The formule breakfast is good value for money. The service is impeccable, we are always made to feel welcome. Excellent all round. Thank you.

Yet another fantastic meal at Cote in Guildford. Three of us ate from their Prestige and Set menus and not only was the food fabulous but for 3 courses, what great value for money. A lot of people moan about the 12 1/2 % service charge automatically added to the bill but trust me, you always get exceptional service to justify this charge. The staff are always very courteous and friendly and the service is prompt even when they are fully booked.

Staff great. Food salty and produced without care. Chef is a cook who clearly follows a poorly produced mass recipe. I am in the f&b industry. This is clear. A cook who calls himself an accomplished chef and a brigade of assistants. The front of house saved the day.

We visited Cote for my granddaughter's birthday, it's her favourite place to eat. The food was exceptional and the staff made it special for her.

Decided to visit Cote’s for Breakfaat. Absolutely delicious, excellent choice of food, perfectly cooked and served and lovely and hot. An absolute bargain with fresh juice and choice of hot beverages.

Very disappointed, starters were good although expensive, mains came out cold, begrudge having to pay extra for potato, when £14.50 for a duck leg and a bit of cabbage is all you get, grossly overpriced, left hungry

Delicious food, good value set menus, efficient staff. I particularly loved my moules marinieres and creme caramel, and the rest of the family singled out the calamari and chocolate mousse for praise. No surprise that this restaurant is usually packed when I walk past!

As well as as last night I also visited the Guildford restaurant on Saturday night and ordered the Beef Bourguignon. Having ordered this meal on previous occasions I felt the quantity of food had been reduced so not my usual satisfied self!. Whether this was a one off I’m not sure but felt I couldn’t complain as the meal could have been taken away with my partner eating alone.

As always a wonderful experience. Food was fantastic and service first class. We all had a great evening taking advantage of the offers and complimentary offers.

The staff in Guildford are brilliant (as is the food!) I've come several times and eaten lots of different items from the menu and always enjoyed my meals. Have eaten both breakfast and dinner meals here and always been great.

Brilliant group dinner - everyone was exceptionally helpful and the food was amazing, especially as our group was around 35. The only reason I have not given 100% is that the tables were a bit too close together, which meant waiting staff could not get to the end of the tables easily. We needed a bit more room but other than that it was faultless. Thank you very much.

Great food, very good service, buzzing atmosphere... a fab night! Only comment is the portion sizes were a bit big, but that’s being very picky!
