Always a lovely meal and friendly staff. We love cote
There are always such polite, helpful and friendly staff at the Guildford branch and the food never disappoints it’s especially nice to be acknowledged whenever we dine too!
Very nice Italian waiter. Very good food. Just one comment - suggest you do not put pepper on child’s chicken breast. Apart from that everything was excellent.
Service was good, duck was appalling good chef would never of sent from the kitchen. Calamari breadcrumbed? Why not just dusted in seasoned flour
We regularly eat at Côte and not only is the food exceptionally good and very good value but all the staff are very courteous and friendly. Whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is well presented and cooked to perfection. We eat out regularly and Côte Guildford is my favourite restaurant. The Valentine Menue this evening was very good and the sharing dessert was to die for.
Very enjoyable. Always have a good experience at this branch of Cote. The staff are excellent, which always makes all the difference. Mariusz was very good, so big thumbs-up for him 👍
We visited Cote for breakfast, fantastic value for money and excellent service. This our first visit for breakfast and certainly won’t be the last
Staff, food and service were excellent. Only suggestion is a kids brunch menu. Many thanks
Went for breakfast, very relaxed friendly atmosphere as not too busy. Staff were excellent, attentive, helpful and friendly without over doing it. Food was great, highly recommended.
Lovely little restaurant, amazing food & great service. The staff are very friendly & attentive. One of the best creme brule's i've had. Will definitely be returning soon.
The restaurant was very busy, being Mother's Day weekend, & so we had to wait a few minutes for our table , but the manager was very attentive and made sure we had complimentary drinks. Well done Cote - customer service, that's all it takes to make a great experience. I shall definitely be back again.
Excellent customer service as always - can not be faulted!
We are regular customers to Cote in Guildford and always find the welcome warm and friendly. The monthly specials as well as the 2 or 3 course options mean that it is never a problem finding something that both my wife and I will enjoy.
Fantastic food, service and value for money. Went for set lunch menu and food was excellent quality and delicious. Would definitely recommend going to this restaurant .
We enjoyed an excellent meal, served with friendliness and efficiency. The french onion soup and spinach and mushroom crepes were excellent, although I would have appreciated a greater number of vegetarian options. One small disappointment was the soup not being as hot as it might have been - and my husband's steak frites was served on an almost cold plate. These points may be small, but they mattered to us.
Excellent and efficient service, additional requests accommodated eg alternative vegetable and splitting pudding, particular table reserved. Very happy with our lunchtime experience. Will definitely be coming back.
I always love coming here for the food, ambience, friendly staff and value for money. I've never been disappointed and I look forward to my next visit.
Loved it. Service fab. Food high quality. Great atmosphere. We will definitely come back. Perfect venue to celebrate Mother’s Day with the family. Thank you Cote!
I asked at booking for a corner table but was told on arrival there have none! With a 7 week old baby we were placed in centre of restaurant. A busy spot. Unbeknown to us , this was our first visit to Guildford cote, there were many other seats free where we would have caused less disruption. The scrambled egg was more of an omelette and was not as good as Horsham or haywards heath cotes.
Lovely bustling atmosphere, food excellent and hot, service good. prices ok. Always a good choice. Wine by the glass was too chilled for a Bordeaux and needed opening up would be only criticism.
Absolutely wonderful food, we had the fish stew and fish permentier, great friendly service, it’s our favourite restaurant in Guildford, always use before going to the theatre
Friendly helpful staff. We had a slight problem with one of the desserts , however the staff dealt with it efficiently and satisfactorily. The food was declicious and the offer of free cocktails was a nice touch. The noise level rose to a rather high level though, meaning we had to shout to each other in order to hold a conversation. Lovely location in the town.
Top drawer as always. The food is brilliant, and we were well looked after. Staff are very attentive and it is consistently a great restaurant experience.
Love this place, always make you feel welcome and very special whatever the occasion. The staff couldn't be lovelier and the food is divine. My go to place for a wonderful meal.
Great service and always consistent at this restaurant thank you
Last evening at Cote, Guildford, was predictably excellent as always! Lovely vibe, terrific staff, and delicious food and wine. What more could one ask for! See you soon!
Excellent food and service. Staff very attentative . Took the trouble to seat us at the table we had chosen Tables were a bit to close together.
Certainly a favourite in Guildford, great value for money. As always, consistently delicious food, friendly, efficient service and warm, welcoming staff/atmosphere.
Excellent pre theatre meal . All the Staff were welcoming and food served was delicious , served in good time and very reasonably priced . I've eaten in various Côtes before now and never had a bad experience . I particularly like the fact that they also offer an earlier serving time than many other restaurants. When visiting towns for the day or weekend and everything shuts at 5 or 5 :30 but you might want to enjoy a pleasant sit down meal before a show starts at 7 then Côte offers a tasty menu at reasonable prices and in very pleasant surroundings .
Excelent service and mouth watering food; would definitely recommend Côte to my friends!
We always enjoy good food at Cote, and this lunch was no exception. The restaurant was busy, but our reservation brought us a table for two immediately, and we drank our delicious, and complimentary, St Germain G&T's while waiting for mussels and steak. The sixth star has been withheld because our table was in a busy and rather noisy location, but the restaurant was too busy to ask for an alternative.
We visited Cote for my granddaughter's birthday, it's her favourite place to eat. The food was exceptional and the staff made it special for her.
Well up to standard ,guildford is one of the best Cote we have visited , Very busy ,dynamic atmosphere ,great staff and service ,food quality and value for money excellent .we use this branch on a regular basis so hope they maintain the current standard
Excellent meal and service. Will come again. Tip is automatically added.
Little bit stingy with the ham on Eggs Benedict. Tasted great though. Service excellent. Very welcoming and attentive.
Fast efficient and friendly service. Drinks came quickly and food followed soon afterwards. The Formula breakfast is great value and very filling. Will be back again when in Guildford.
enjoyed but glad we arrived at 9 am as it got very busy due to it being Father's Day. Service started to slip as the morning went on. Would return.
Requested quick service . Waiter was delightful and took time to talk to us and service was quick. Food was delicious. Excellent as always, thanks.
The very Staff and food was great, just a shame our table was right next to the bar, it was very noisy and very busy around our table.
Great lunch nice atmosphere brilliant food with flavour staff very helpful what more could you want
As well as as last night I also visited the Guildford restaurant on Saturday night and ordered the Beef Bourguignon. Having ordered this meal on previous occasions I felt the quantity of food had been reduced so not my usual satisfied self!. Whether this was a one off I’m not sure but felt I couldn’t complain as the meal could have been taken away with my partner eating alone.
As always a wonderful experience. Food was fantastic and service first class. We all had a great evening taking advantage of the offers and complimentary offers.
We’ve never had a bad experience at Guildford Cote. Food is consistently great. So is the service.
Myself and a friend enjoyed our meal (2 courses £11.95) at Guildford Cote today and feel it was excellent value for money. The service was also good. Cote must be doing something right as the restaurants are always busy at lunchtime.
Brilliant group dinner - everyone was exceptionally helpful and the food was amazing, especially as our group was around 35. The only reason I have not given 100% is that the tables were a bit too close together, which meant waiting staff could not get to the end of the tables easily. We needed a bit more room but other than that it was faultless. Thank you very much.
Cote reminds me very much of a typical French Brasserie: with a ready availability of cosy two seater round tables and a convivial relaxing atmosphere. The food is very good, with a wide selection of dishes from which to choose - and the staff are just right; welcomingly friendly without being intrusive. Keep it up and we'll keep coming back.
We always enjoy Cote, usually for a big family brunch but of course yesterday was Valentine's so we gave it a try. I wouldn't say it was "cosy" but the food was great and the atmosphere happy and upbeat. You can't beat a good meal at Cote in the week.
Restaurant, Brasserie, pleasant atmosphere, attentive friendly staff serving great tasty french food in reasonable portions, and drinks selection, just 4 mins walk to the theatre and shops.
