Côte Guildford

Very little evidence of changes to make Covid safe. Tables too close together, very warm, basic wipe of tables between guests. We've been to a variety of places during Covid and this felt the least safe. Had we not been meeting friends there we would have left. Staff in visors but that was the only visible change made. I expected more from a chain. Food good but experience not good enough during a healthy pandemic.

Amazing time in Cotê ... Food was divine. Staff were so friendly, professional and attentive. The perfect evening with friends. Just a shame we had to leave at 10pm as would have sampled dessert, coffee and stayed there in our cosy both much longer!

Wonderful service and the food was amazing, nice friendly staff, only downside was it was very hot in the restaurant but apart from that everything was great

Faultless service, fabulous cocktails and good food. Cote gets it right again. Shame it's a reduced menu but appreciate the reasons why.

We enjoyed our evening and the food was good however the noise level made it almost impossible to hear each other. Felt slightly uncomfortable that the tables were quite close together in a fairly small room with low ceilings. Always liked Côte but not sure I’d revisit the Guildford restaurant in the near future. Apparently the Farnham one is better for size, distancing and noise

Another lovely lunch at Cote. We always get a fabulous welcome there, the food is always excellent and service impeccable. We never feel rushed and they are always happy to let us stay as long as we like after coffee- like taking lunch at a good friends place.

Yet again very pleased with variety of menu, especially for gluten free and shellfish allergy. Great service and checking ingredients and cross contamination. All courses chosen by 3 adults were superb. We shall be visiting again soon.

We always have the best time at Côte Guildford and today was no exception! We were celebrating my daughter’s 19th birthday and the brunch was perfect. The team are always so positive and welcoming.

Found was great. Staff are lovely but the tables are not socially distance. We had to ask to move tables as we were less than a metre away from the next table.

My friends and I all had the Goats Cheese Salad, which was a really good choice, an observation would be, the fennel was a little bit too firm to cut or eat

Quiet surroundings, understandably, given the current situation regarding Covid 19, but still an extremely enjoyable meal with excellent staff.

A wonderful, modestly indulgent and eminently enjoyable Tuesday lunch. As a regular Côte fan, the only comment that I can give is "well done" year another great meal, attentive service and prices that reasonably reflect the quality of the food. Reassuringly satisfying !

So pleased to see Côte open again! Lovely lunch with girlfriends today. Great food as always and good value. Friendly staff in these troubled times. The restaurant was quiet today, probably a hot sunny Monday doesn’t help, but we enjoyed our lunch nonetheless!

As usual, good food and service. My first time having breakfast and it as excellent.

Staff were great however the food wasn’t up to Cotes usual standard. I ordered calamari for my starter and sadly it wasn’t as tasty as usual and my main course steak frites I was unable to eat as it was so tough I couldn’t even bite into it and although they offered to replace it, I was put off by having another and by this time my partner had finished his main course, creme caramel was perfect ! They took my main course off the bill but we were still charged nearly £50 and it’s put us off returning certainly for a while, it’s a shame as it was our first experience back at Cote since lockdown, it certainly would’ve been nicer if they’d at least halved our bill as we were stilled charged for the spinach to go with the steak.

Great to see that after a blip Cote Guildford back to its pre covid high standards good meal well done.

Best Brasserie food available at very competetive pricing . Service excellent except waiter needed education on digestives . Cognac not the same as Calvados. Got the double of the latter but not a glass of the former.
