Excellent food and service as always. Pre-theatre menu very good value and plenty of choice. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

As always a very consistent quality of food and service. The value for money of the early evening weekday menu is excellent. The a la carte is also good value.

Have eaten there several times , never disappointed , good food and amazing value. Only thing that spoilt today was rather chilly sitting in the window. Should have said something and asked for a move , so my own fault really.

The evening went very well from the moment we walked to the time we left.We had a window table which was nice and the food was excellent.

We visited Cote in Guildford after my daughter's graduation ceremony. We all chose the 3 course set lunch menu and the food came quickly and was of high quality. Service was discreet but friendly. We will certainly visit Cote again.

Our early evening meal was very good and the service was prompt which was important to us as we had a theatre date. Next time it would be appreciated if we could have side plates with the starter of olives in oil with bread, They were provided after we requested them.

Sat next to the clearing and cofeee making station for brunch with friends . Very noisy when coffee machines were being used, which was every two minutes! Good food as always .

First time I had their Breakfast Menu and it was not enjoyable, Bacon was dry and difficult to eat the Sausage was burnt and dry. Also the price was high compared to other restaurant breakfast. On the plus side the poached eggs and mushrooms were fine.

Lovely evening. Excellent wine (Pinot Blanc highly recommended). Lovely prawn starter with a lovely fish main which was beautifully cooked. Great service. Didn't feel rushed at all.

Great customer service and food was delicious as usual! Guildford Cote is spacious, staff is friendly, great place to have lunch or dinner. Menu specials vary, also great at suggesting alternatives in case of special dietary requirements.

The food was lovely. However there was not enough space to move around. Everywhere you turned was another body. We even saw the staff struggling to do their job. In addition to this we ordered our drinks which included a bottle of prosecco. This for some reason seemed to be an impossible task. The waiter has to tell us twice that is was coming in a sec. but in turn came around 10 mins after all our other drinks. It seemed as if the staff where all over the place. Struggling to cope with the volume of people.

Easy to book, excellent service and great tasting and good value food. My partner and I have never had a bad experience at a Côte restaurant.

Very nice atmosphere in Restaurant and staff particularly helpful and friendly. Food well presented and very tasty meal. We all four had a different meal and all were enjoyed. Finished with coffee and tea and the Bill was a pleasant surprise. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Enjoyed an excellent relaxed lunch with a friend. The service was good . Given time to make our selection from a wide choice on the menu. We were not hurried at any time during our lunch, just perfect.

We use this restaurant for ourselves and with friends and both the food and the service are consistently good. Also even when they are busy you never feel rushed.

I choose the minute steak. When asked how it was I commented 'not as pink as advertised but still very good'. The waiter said he would talk to the manager about this. I was half way through it, and enjoying it, and the manager insisted on replacing it. Everyone was very pleasant about the incident which was very well handled.

Having been to Cote on numerous occasions and had an excellent time. This particular review would have been higher, but unfortunately the soya milk curdled in the coffee.

Our booked table was immediately available, and provide in a quieter part of the restaurant on request. Our brunch was served swiftly and courteously, and we enjoyed it.

Service always excellent. We have found that the steaks are not so reliable anymore. A few times now we have found the sirloin to be chewy. My wife couldn't finish hers tonight. A while back we always found the steaks to be so tender. Overall though we still very much like Côte.

Great Menu choices, and especially Gluten Free options. Our waiter recommended a Rose Wine which was extremely nice. We often choose Cote and we are never disappointed.

The staff were wonderful and the Brasserie clean and cool and refreshing. I have given a 3 as there was only a very small amount of salmon on top of the muffins which I would call a garnish rather than the main food ingredient.

Very enjoyable lunch. Extensive menu to choose from but lacked a little for vegetarian choices and too many recipes with goats cheese. I chose a melon and Parma ham dish from the starter menu but found it a very small portion despite telling the waiter I was having it for a main course. I was hoping that one of your choices would Include eggs. Are the menus changed from time to time.? My husband and I visited Cote Farnham and I had a dish with black pudding which was delicious so perhaps it was just disappointment as it was not included on your menu.

Good service, good food, good value, good location. Attentive waiter but not too in your face. Too much dressing on the goats cheese salad! Would recommend.

Great restaurant just opposite the castle. The food is faultless (they really do cook the best steak in town) and the staff are a perfect mix of attentive and helpful without being intrusive. We love it here and would highly recommend.
