A busy restaurant on Saturday lunchtime, and understandably so, because food was excellent and service quietly attentive. Three of our party had the superb Breton fish stew, a mouth-watering seafood combination with freshly baked bread to help soak up the delicious sauces. Top class.

I found the food to be excellent and the staff very attentive. The meal and desert were thoroughly enjoyable and I will certainly be looking to visit again.

Visited Cote in Guildford quite a few times now. Very central location. Always a nice welcome and with very good food and excellent service. Recommended.

Great restaurant, however website allowed us to book before 9am- Cote Guildford didn't open until then (Good Friday) luckily we only had 15 mins to wait

Côte Guildford is a fabulous restaurant! I couldn't recommend it enough. The food is high standard and the service is totally impecable. Every single time there is no fail. We will be back definitely. :-)

Meal disappointing (mushrooom and mozarrela salad). Massive over dose of cheese and only one mushroom. The cheese also looked very unappetising. This course was in my opinion incorrectly named, it should have been mozzarella first because it was largest and then mushroom. Having said that though there was more avocado than mushroom. I have eaten many, many times at various Cotes and this was the first disappointment.

Nice restaurant in the older part of town, with good selection of quality food (value for money!) with a lovely free 'thank you for first registration' wine (a bit steep to order - £24.- for a 750ml bottle of Cote Du Rhone). Very helpful and friendly non-pushy waiting staff all of whom make you the centre of their attention at your table and are keen to serve what you order, warm and within a well-measured timeframe. Keep it up, 'cause we'll be back!

Really good food and plenty to choose from on the main menu. Could have had some more variety of starters tbh. Good wine list as well. Great attentive and caring service.

Good brunch and good value. I will visit again. Only odd thing was the jam pot on the table which were for decoration only. They were glued shut but it was possible to open them with some force but of course once we found out they were only for decoration we were provided with jam separately. I wasn't the only one to find this odd.

Usual good service, food and attentive staff. Set lunch menu was very good. The person I took as my guest was impressed and reassured after a previous not so good visit.

Lovely dinner and the staff always polite. The April menu is very nice and the scallops are great. I would also recommend the dessert from the April menu.

The service was swift and friendly. I am always impressed by the staff at COTE in Guildford. The food was prompt, tasty and hot, and there is always a good buzz about the restaurant. All in all it makes for a fun night.

Great service & pretty good set menu for the price. Wild have preferred my steak pink & those iced berries were well & truly frozen.

Sadly for the first time, our main course was not good the sharing beef was such a disappointment, tough and certainly not enough for two the amount of grizzle was more than the meat.such a shame as we love going to Cote

We have been many times to this particular Cote and never had a bad experience. The staff are welcoming, food wonderful and there is a lovely atmosphere! Would recommend it to anyone!

We had an excellent meal at Cote. The goats cheese and crab starters were delicious ,as was the cote de boeuf which we shared. The service is always friendly and efficient

Good service, very good food, The calamari was excellent as was the steak frite. We didn't have dessert as is was very noisy in our part of the restaurant. Very good value for money for the set menu.

We had a nice centrally placed table and a delicious meal as always. Our waitress was particularly helpful and courteous and kept us supplied with plenty of water without being asked. A good experience all round.

Excellent meal. Scallops were cooked to perfection in a delicious jus. Great selection of mains, again beautifully cooked - my roast chicken was succulent and my guest enjoyed the veal escalope. Service was very welcoming and friendly.

I had two lovely evenings in Cote Brasserie in a week! The first was with approximately thirty colleagues for a leavers party and the second was a family celebration for my birthday. Both evenings were a real treat as the food, ambience and service at Cote Guildford is consistently excellent. The staff work so hard and are obviously a cohesive team who care about their customers. Cote is our "go to" choice!

Nothing is perfect, so I left room for improvement... My meal was fine although my main salad was small and had hardly any mushrooms in although it was called mushroom salad...when i made a remark the chef immediately prepared some extra for me. So all good in the end
