Cote is a good chain , the rest are very variable , Cote is reliable . We use Guildford and Farnham mostly . Today we had the pre theatre menu and it was great and delivered quickly .

We enjoyed a very enjoyable quiet Monday lunchtime meal, with excellent Whitebait starter and perfectly cooked Steak Frites and Seafood dish and bottle of wine.

Although the brasserie was rammed on a Saturday night, the service was 'a point' and the courses were promptly serviced and tasted great. The only quibble was portion size for the beef Bourguignon. Loved the creme caramel! Cheers, Chris

Lovely welcoming staff. The portion sizes in Côte are always very generous so left feeling pretty full. I went for the fried egg and bacon crepes, However my food was only slightly warm which was disappointing and my eggs were ridiculously over cooked. It tasted great it was just a shame about everything else.

The food was particularly exceptional for a busy Saturday, well presented and hot. The service is always excellent 😀 Guildford Cote is definitely my favourite in our locality.

The staff were great. The room would benefit from some soft furnishings to reduce the noise. Having requested a table away from the front door due to previous experience of drafts, we were offered a table in the back room. I didn't notice it was next to a fire escape door, which, unfortunately, was frequently opened by the wind. Easy to close, by me, as no staff appeared to notice! Hey, I'll not sit at that table next time, but will be back anyway.

The food was nice. The wine was nice. We will go agian. Maybe take a friend if we get another free bottle of wine. Thank you

I always enjoy eating at Cote, I've been for breakfast lunch and dinner and it's my favourite place to go in Guildford. The food is always of outstanding quality.

Usual good food and service. However, in the back restaurant there is a dresser for the staff to get serving items out off. It needs soft closing hinges put on as the staff were constantly opening the doors and bang the doors went as they closed, an irritating surplus noise that could have been avoided.

I am disabled. The entrance step is difficult to manage and would benefit from a handle to help both the disabled and the elderly. there were three items no longer on the menu, two which were on the "set menu". The meal and service were very good (as usual). I would particularly like to thank the member of staff who helped me to manage the step out of the restaurant.

Fast pleasant service of fresh food, well prepared and well served. Capable alert staff who coped well with a large number of customers and kept an eye upon you.

Great restaurant, good food, good service. The lack of soft furnishings can make it a bit noisy. The back is lovely during the day as its flooded with natural light. The menu suits all tastes.

I had the platter for first course. The bread seemed not to have been freshly toasted. It was rubbery rather than crisp. The main was boring.

Good service, good food, nice atmosphere. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. We were asked 3 times by different people whether everything was ok, too much in my opinion- your waiter should ask once. Maybe the manager a second time but even that's not necessary. 3 times was a little intrusive on our conversation. Otherwise great.

Another pleasant meal here. Food was fresh and of good quality, as always, and the service was very friendly and sensibly efficient (i.e. you were never rushed). We booked in advance as we know the restaurant gets very busy at lunchtimes and we were glad we did. We had a nice table by the window, which was very welcome, but I would not have wanted to be seated at the two-person right in front of the door - I believe this is only used when the restaurant is full but I wonder whether it would be possible to reserve tables for those who have booked in advance, to avoid any problems.

The food was, as usual, lovely. The staff are attentive. I love the decor. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, though the tables are a little close together.

I always go to Cote Guildford for a celebration or on a regular basis for brunch on a Saturday because having been in the restaurant business I know when I am being given excellent service, the food is consistent,doesn't try to be clever and I have never had cause to complain and I feel that the menu is not overpriced. Went today for Mother's Day breakfast and had a lovely morning.

Great restaurant could do with updating the menu and making the salad a little more inviting. It's all leaves in a bowl with a little bit of chicken and not much more. Great service

My lady and I have been using Cote for some years now and you will find my reviews for Cote on Tripadvisor a few times. We enjoy Cote immensely and go as often as we can. The food and services are second to none and I always advise family and friends if they want a good tasty meal to go Cote
