Côte Guildford

My friend and I eat regularly at Cote simply because we know it is reliably good. The food is always good quality and delicious and the staff are always polite and friendly. We've never been disappointed with this place and would recommend it to anyone who wants a good meal out in Guildford.

The staff, atmosphere and food was excellent, Not rushed and really enjoyed our time here in Guildford. I would highly recommend this restaurant in this area.

The service was excellent, the stuff was very friendly and polite, we have a big party of 8 people but the food was lovely and it came right on time

Really friendly, helpful staff without being overpowering and good atmosphere in the restaurant. Plenty to choose from on all the menus. Never been disappointed. .

The service was fab we were warmly welcomed by the front of house and given a choice of tables. We ordered French onion soup and Warm Roquefort cheese and walnut salad to start . Both were so flavoursome. We were served quickly and the food was very well presented . Main Course Tuna Nicoise salad and Ribeye Steak. Both well cooked and the salad was fresh and colourful. Desert was Apple Tart and Lemon Tart just lovely . Would go back again to try the different starters I saw coming out .. very busy Resturant but service was really good and quality of food was excellent worth every penny

We were given a window table, which was good. Pleasant and attentive service, and the food was as good as expected from previous visits to others in the chain. Overall happy, and will use again.

Good service and food although there was a lot of celeriac in the started and not so much ham! Good value in pre theatre menu.

Good service, food was lovely. I'm not a fan of service charges being added so I always ask for it to be removed which can be a pain.

Great french bistro food, good service, and catered well for my wife's numerous allergies. It's becoming a regular for an 'everyday' good quality lunch or dinner

The food we ordered was absolutely delicious we both thought the starter pear and goats cheese salad a great taste (I shall try and make it at home). The service was excellent we were welcomed on arrival, and the young man who looked after our table could not be faulted. The only problem was the noise - we did find it difficult to hear each other - this improved as the crowd dispersed. But the atmosphere was good, as always, and we look forward to our next visit. A great way to celebrate my daughter's birthday thank you.

Have eaten at Cote Guildford many times and are always impressed with the standard of food and service. Duck breast and pork belly are favourites!

The food is always good & brought to the table hot ... not so in other restaurant chains. Staff always helpful & smiling .. another plus.

Excellent service with friendly helpful staff. Food is always superb quality with plenty to choose from. Booking online was quick and easy, overall a very pleasurable experience and we will definitely be returning.

Well up to usual high standard. Excellent atmosphere and superb food. Top marks for what must be one of the best restaurants in the town.

Lovely meal with great service and food. Busy restaurant but wasn't too loud. Portions slightly on the small side, had the Breton chicken, small pieces of chicken.

Notwithstanding their busy pre-theatre restaurant in Guildford, we were served quickly and efficiently having chosen from the set-price menu. The dishes were well prepared and good value as were the two glasses of wine we ordered. Additional stone jars of tap water were brought quickly upon request.

As always very good service and reliable food quality. We use Cote in Guildford and many other locations, especially prior theatre. We recommend you try it too.

Easy to book. Very pleasant and courteous service. The food is excellent value and pleasant without being remarkable. it is also remarkably quiet location even when it was crowded.

Always reliable tasty food together with excellent friendly service. The midweek set price menu extremely good value. Never a problem to get a booking as this Cote is large but very well laid out with many 'nooks and crannies'.

We eat there regularly, good food, lovely wine, varied menu and wonderful service. We always eat early to take advantage of excellent prices. Love it.

So, really good food, well served in buzzy brasserie. Chicken was genuinely surprisingly tasty with super sauce. Bread was authentic, house wine perfectly ok and puds awesome...

Delicious gluten free meal. Great service. Tasty steak. Amazing chocolate pot with creme fraiche for dessert. Restaurant was fairly busy so highly recommend booking. X

Very friendly and efficient staff. The food was served without too much delay and was absolutely delicious. We have the veal and the pink duck breast and both were very well prepared and presented. Chocolate fondant to die for! All in all a lovely meal in lovely surroundings.

There is always amazing service. The staff are brilliant. Food was perfect, never had a bad meal here! Everyone is also always great with my daughter, which is an added bonus.

Good value with dishes that express a french heritage of style and flavour. Wine list decent and the venue off a very stylish lane in the middle of the High Street.

Cote Brasserie- Guildford never disappoints! In this instance a delicious Easter Sunday lunch - that was a first in years not slaving over a joint of lamb at home, and will certainly not be the last. Just a walk after, then tea at home - so civilized, and so different. Lovely friendly, staff created vibe! Couldn't be bettered! Be back again soon.

Lovely birthday breakfast at Cote, really enjoyed my smoked salmon and scarambled egg and a lovely glass of champagne. Service friendly and efficient as usual.

Service prompt but not hurried. Lamb especially was excellent. We wanted it well cooked and not pink and was to perfection. Beware folks. Don't like the idea of service being included on the bill at 12.5% even though it's optional. Don't like that sort of practice. Prefer to reward staff in my own way and what I think is appropriate.

As ever, good-quality, reasonably-priced food and excellent service. My only slight gripe would be that the steak frites should come with some haricot vertes as standard.

Great pre theatre menu choice and food. Waitress a bit pushy with the wine , but otherwise good service at Cote Brasserie Guildford. Would recommend.

Cote in Guildford is consistently excellent. We go there frequently because we know it and love it! The frites are delicious, the waiters friendly, the service is fast and the creme caramel divine.

Great atmosphere and service. Always warm relaxed and friendly. The manager is very professional and remembers customers. You feel welcome and every meal is an occasion.
