Côte Guildford

Every time we visit Guildford we have lunch at Cote and always enjoy the food, the staff are very friendly and efficient. Can always be relied upon to maintain a high standard of food.

Lovely restaurant, very nice staff and excellent food. Not much to add really; just a great dining experience and one of the better restaurants in Guildford.

It was my daughters 16th birthday and I booked well in advance for a table of 8 and we were looking forward to it. However although the food was good the service was awful. The waiter didn't know his menu, everything we asked seemed like too much trouble he was disinterested verging on rude Even the female manager had a couldn't care a less attitude. Trying to get anyone's attention was v hard so drinks were hard to come by!! We removed the service charge from the bill. We wont be rushing back

Usual good food but service today was poor. When we mentioned, after waiting 10 minutes for the table to be cleared and then some more time to be served, that we had an appointment to keep we had a response of "What do you want me to do?" Not what we have come to expect or experience in Cotes Guildford!

Great restaurant and service. Had the early evening menu which was a great bargain and didn't see a difference between that and other courses. Would revisit

Great food as always but a grumpy waiter with attitude! Took ages to clear tables and everything seemed like too much trouble!! Been a customer there for years and have never had such a bad experience.

It was fine. We were expected. Service good. Minute steak billed as "pink" was not punk. We will come back next time we go to Yvonne Arnaud theatre.

Excellent venue ..quite a buzz in the restaurant. Great food cooked to perfection.The Creme Caramel was great as was the complimentary dessert wine. Excellent service by the waitress who served us.Friendly

Cote reliable as ever - no matter which branch. Good food, excellent service , and all at a reasonable price. No one does it better!

Enjoyed the experience though car parking was a huge problem. Would have been better had I known the area at all. Parking is very difficult. The ovation is away from the main drag but that said it was very busy though it was a Saturday night.

They were a little slow taking our order but the food arrived very quickly once they had taken our order. They were very busy at the time.

Time and time again - Cote Brasserie in Guildford serves excellent food with excellent service. To be highly recommended. Book early though as it's always full!

We love eating at Cote, Guildford. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had a lovely table and the food arrived promptly , hot and delicious!!!! We ate before 7pm on a weekday so had the three course set meal which was very good value. We will be back x

Never disappoints: great food, great staff, great location. Perfect for a million and one occasions, or just a catch up or cozy dinner for two, or maybe you fancy a coffee or glass of wine on your own to get over that Guildford shopathon. Whatever, you will be assured the best of welcomes!

The friendleness of the staff and the smooth service makes coming to Cote a pleasure. There is always the food, excellent and varied menu. I have visited a number of Cotes and always found the standard very good in all of them.

Great as always! I regularly visit Cote in Guildford and it always gives great service and wonderful food. I have never been disappointed in fact I can't find another restaurant in Guildford that can get close to the experience of eating in Cote.

The Guildford 'Cote' is a lively restaurant, providing an enjoyable range of food in quantities sufficient to enjoy, without feeling overfull. We eat there frequently , and have yet to be disappointed. Staff are helpful , amenable , and busy

We had a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and the setting wonderful. All staff are friendly and accommodating. Not over priced ! Very few restaurants like this anymore.

Visited with a friend last evening. Restaurant was busy as one would expect for a Saturday but we had booked in advance and were shown straight to our table. Service was good and staff were attentive but not intrusive. Menu is good and accomodates all tastes and food was of a high standard and well presented. My only gripe - the "optional" 12.5% service charge. Would however highly recommend and will be returning.

Warm welcome and attentive service with a good atmosphere. We enjoyed our goats cheese salads. Tables a little too close together and the space is quite noisy. Would go again.

As this was a special celebration.. The Cote never fails. The food today was brilliant and Marius who looked after us was so attentive even though the restaurant was very busy. The quality of the food is excellent and I would not hesitate in recommending The Cote in Guildford to anyone and everyone.

Completely acceptable food, efficient service despite it being a hectic lunchtime. Definitely one of the better branches of the chain and would return without hesitation.

Excellent food and service - shame about the noise level! While Cote cannot stop people shouting, they could install acoustic ceilings and/or sound absorbing furniture/carpet.

Usual good food and service, I had French toast for breakfast, fruit is normally of a high quality but sometimes the Mango pieces can be rather hard and and unattractive. For me if they used raspberries instead of mango this would make breakfast perfect.
