The fiod was very good and the service fast, professional and very friendly. Cote provides reliable quality that’s why I am quite a frequent customer.

A lovely evening, nice surroundings. Had a couple of issues with soup served cold but the manager was completely lovely and the issue was quickly resolved. We were offered free coffee and desserts which we appreciated. Also as it was my birthday the staff gave me a free glass of bubbly and a beautifully presented dessert with a candle. So professional and caring. Would highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely be returning.

Last time I visited Cote I had a really bad experience. Due to this I recieved a voucher from their head office as an apology. I went with my boyfriend and had a really lovely evening. We were greeted with complimentary drinks and our waitress was brilliant- polite, friendly and clearly very good at her job. This visit has restored our faith in Cote.

As consistent as ever. We ate from the a la carte and noticed that the portion sizes were bigger both for prawn starter and steak. Is this policy?

My heart always sinks on valentine's day when the menu is restricted but I was really happy with my choices . The restaurant was obviously very busy because we could see the staff going backwards and forwards but it didn't seem cramped (and no intrusive neighbours) and waiting times were fine - they had obviously spread out the time slots available carefully; very nice evening again.

Valentines meal with my boyfriend. Our starters (two onion soups) were lovely. I got given the wrong main and when I brought this to the attention of our waiter he just took it from me without appologising. A few minutes later he came back with the right meal and all he said was that this plate was hot- still no apology. My duck breast was delicious. My boyfriend had the mushroom risotto which he really enjoyed, however he did find a foreign object in it, which we think was meat but really can’t be sure. (This is supposed to be a vegetarian option). For pudding my boyfriend ordered the chocolate fondant (which comes with cinnamon ice cream) and I ordered the same, but asked that mine came with vanilla ice cream instead. When the puddings came we found that both of them had vanilla ice cream on. We highlighted this to a passing by waitress (not the member of staff looking after us) and she apologised and took his plate away. Then our waiter noticed that my boyfriend didn’t have a dessert and came over to ask what happened. When we told him it was due to it not coming with the right ice cream he just said ‘oh’ and walked away. The new pudding was brought out quite quickly by a different waitress. Overall it was quite a disappointing experience as we wouldn’t normally go to a restaurant that is this expensive (we are both students) but as it’s valentines we thought we’d treat ourselves. The service was not good enough at all, our waiter didn’t once appologise for all his mistakes. The food was lovely, we just didn’t appreciate the extra foreign object added. It was a nice evening, however slightly ruined by making us feel like we were constantly complaining.

Excellent very friendly staff, good service and attentive to all needs. Only slight problem there was a mistake with the bill which was slightly unfortunate.

Always good , never fails. I am a regular visitor to the Lewes branch!Only slight hiccup this time apparently they could not redeem my £10 quandoo loyality voucher, as they do not have that arrangement set up!

We booked for lunch and were given a choice of tables. There was no rush but service was just right. Staff were friendly and efficient. It was a very good experience. thank you.

Friendly atmosphere. Delicious breakfast well cooked. Nothing is too much trouble , the staff are attentive but not intrusive. It great to know there is somewhere to take friends that is always of such a high standard.

As always our party of 6 had a wonderful evening at Cote Lewes. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming and the staff courteous, good humoured and admirably efficient. The food never disappoints and was as utterly delicious and attractive as we have come to expect.

Went for a light lunch, absolutely gorgeous, not too heavy but just hit the spot. Couldn’t resist a dessert though but didn’t feel too full to sit and watch a film at the cinema.

Lovely evening - delicious food, comfortable seating and brilliant service from the Chichester team. It was a real pleasure to see them when we walked through the door. We are always pleased to see them in Chichester as it means we are going, or have been, to the theatre. A wonderful birthday treat for my husband. Thank you

The restaurant is always consistent with its food and never seems short of customers. We continue to go on a regular basis but have felt on the last two visits in particular service has not been what it was when in first opened. The staff are always pleasant but not as attentive as they have been in the past and sercive at times can be slow. It would be good to see service back up where it has been in the past.

Good ideal for meeting my brother in law and his wife plates were nice and hot. Only problem we had was that when starter was being cleared away we ordered another bottle however that did not arrive so had to ask again when main course was served.

Great venue, good staff and good food so what more can you ask. It's one of our favourites to meet up with friends. Would recommend.

Usual consistent high standard of food and service. There is no doubt that Cote have got their game off to a fine art. It is Cafe Rouge with all the knobs on.

Delicious food and beautiful surroundings made a special evening to celebrate my daughters 21 birthday. A birthday drink of a kir royale to welcome her was a lovely touch

We took family for breakfast . Service was good and attentive as always. The staff are always ready and willing to deal with any requests and you are not rushed .

New Years Eve will always be busy but all the staff worked there socks off to make everything run as smoothly as ever. The food, service and atmosphere was superb.

Another good meal at Cote Food excellent. staff and service Of good standard and adapted to our dietary needs NEver fails to please. We will definately eat here again.

Food was nice but the service it’s self was a let done. No plates given to have our bread with. Just overal felt they were too busy to give a great service.
