Côte - Hay's Galleria

In a restaurant that was practically empty when we arrived, the service was seriously lacking, and the waiter was never attentive. The food was very good. The service was poor so I doubt I’d return

Superlative birthday celebration today. My sincere thanks to the entire team at Hay’s galleria, but in particular to Anton and Giovanni who looked after us as premier guests. Exceptional customer service from them both - thank you. I could not fault the experience today - thank you for making it a birthday to remember.

Excellent meal! From the initial welcome, being shown to our seats, the meal and the service were excellent. Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Most enjoyable evening, and will certainly be visiting again.

I booked a table for lunch for a group of 27. We had a wide choice of beautiful food, which was excellently served. We could not have had a better restaurant for our annual get together.

We arrived at 12.05pm. 2 adults 4 children, restaurant was practically empty. We ordered and were given our bread. The restaurant became full. And all the other tables were given their food. At about 12.50 we asked where our food was. We were given a limp excuse, no apology from the manager. I visit St Christopher’s Place and St Martin’s Lane regularly and have never had a problem in either. Our waitress was very nice and tried her best to be helpful. ps They also do not have any of the set menus. We shall not be visiting that branch again.

Very nice New Year's eve venue. Really good value set menu with a lot of choices. Despite being full, very good service and wait times. Buzzing atmosphere too.

Great visit. At the weekend they have a special menu with an enormous burger in a brioche bun. Very good value!

We love this venue ..based on venue and service..but again the facilities for female toilets are not acceptable based on the size of the restaurant.

unfortunately this was the worst experience we have had at cote. When we asked for an another basket of bread we were told it had run out and would take some time, this is despite the fact we could see a number of baguettes at the bread station form our table. Later we asked again, another waitress who also seemed perplexed by the question and looked at out table to see what meals we had - almost as if she was checking we weren't having more bread than we were allowed to, we hadn't realised it was rationed - which was odd but she did at least agree and brought us a basket. All the food when it arrived was cold (except for the more expensive steak we had) including my moules which were cold and tasteless - it was as if a tub of cream had been poured over them with no other flavours, half were mushy (almost as if they had been frozen) and a bout a third were closed. I complained about these and i think they were taken off the bill, but I think we would be very cautious about dining at cote again after such disappointing food and service, which is a shame as in the past we have had very good service in other venues in london and esher and it was a favourite of ours.

Excellent and friendly service. We were a large group (with multiple young children) who booked last minute and the service was quick, attentive and so friendly. Food was delicious and just what was needed after a busy morning. Big thanks!

We pre-booked on-line, probably a good move since the restaurant was busy. The quality of the food and wine was excellent, service friendly and overall very professional. Good value for money.

The food was good as expected - but two things made this experience amazing 1) the service was fantastic - believe it was Natalia? - she was so friendly and wonderful and made us feel taken care of 2) the vegetarian menu was simply mouth watering and it’s so nice to have so many options. Can’t wait to be back!

Great location by the river. The staff was kind enough to give us an outside table. Perfect way to enjoy views of the Tower Bridge and excellent food.

The hostess went out of her way to let us have a table upstairs. All the staff very polite, professional and helpful. Another lovely Côte experience, and my husband is now a convert too!

A very enjoyable meal as usual from Cote. A busy evening but staff coped well with service and food was as enjoyable as ever. We used the side disabled ‘level’ access which has a choke point at entry to the restaurant each time we use it and have it pass the full bins but this aside was a decent experience.

Substantial breakfast, very good value for money. Waitress was great, efficient and friendly. Only downside was the restaurant was cold and had a significant chilly breeze where we were sitting. I wasn’t the only person who dined with their coat on!

We was only 2 and waiting 35m between asking when we're finished the started and when the waiter came to ask if we want the maint .. asking 3 time for the bread and some water. The food was to much salt or not enough. See the staff scream. Never again.

It was not french cuisine ! When you Ask a table change because you are in the alley with the door on your back and you hear if they are not satisfied they Can go elsewhere. That's côté brasserie . The food was insipid just the bread was good

A lovely dining experience, friendly helpful staff. Food is mediocre, but this is a chain. Its good value especially in London. Great wine list. Desserts were cold, but staff quickly solved the issue. The staff in this restaurant are the ✨

Food wasn’t at its best, service was good and would still be back again. I have been using this restaurant for the past three years and it normally very good.

Food was good , service slow to start and table not ready for us even though we’d booked and I had requested downstairs they tried to show me upstairs and had not looked at my request which was a bit annoying . We had a good time , the waiter was very helpful and pleasant and everyone enjoyed themselves .

We were disappointed that a few dishes were already off the menu by 6pm including the burger and steak frites. Also the tarteflet was too salty.
