Always nice food, and at reasonable prices. Even my son, who is fussy where he eats enjoys Cote. Both he and I had Ribeye steak, which was nicely cooked, and very enjoyable.
Great menu, service, and atmosphere. Perfect for an early evening meal after work before heading home. Will definitely go back again soon to try the other options available on the Prestige 3-course menu.
Excellent lunch on Fathers Day and reasonably priced. Would definitely return. Step-daughters steak was a little chewy but then she did have it cooked well done!
went for fathers day great food great service overall nice meal very pleased
all steamed from what Cote say was a communication problem, it all ended up great but the initial problem caused me to rate down the experience
Excellent food and service at this central Manchester restaurant. Good value Pre-theatre dinner. The Staff are very friendly and attentive. Very Good value for money.
The usual friendly and efficient service and great menu. We love it! As francophiles, it's great to have a little bit of France so close to home.
Fabulous Breton fish stew. Just like my mum used to make. Couldn't be faulted. The onion soup was equally as good. Never tire of visiting here.
Excellent food served by some of the most friendly and accommodating staff in Manchester. This restaurant is very good value for money and I would undoubtedly recommend it.
Very good food served. A very varied menu. A pity they were out of asparagus - but the starters we ordered were good. An extra plus for the steaks. Very good
it was the best meal we have had out in a long time. the waiter was exceptional never pushy and couldn't do more for us.
Lovely food , staff friendly and attentive, spotlessly clean, lovely atmosphere
Lovely meal, great service. I think that the automatic 12.5% tip is a bit presumptuous but everything else was lovely! Would definitely recommend the fougasse.
Very professional and friendly staff. Always good value at lunch. The best in Manchester! Many of our group have spent a great deal of time in France so are able to make a fair assessment.
Booked lunch with a friend. Met by friendly staff & given a choice of where we would like to sit. The menu choice was varied and tempting & the food delicious . Had a very enjoyable time.
Excellent value, service and food. Never had a bad meal and quality is consistent.
We visited Cote on Friday evening. Atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Service was good with attentive but not in your face servers. Three of our party had set menu and one a la carte. Food was excellent.
Lovely food from the set menu, spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful staff
A pleasant meal from the superior evening menu - asparagus - (nice and tender with vinaigrette and chicken with a tomato salad on the side - a relaxed atmosphere and good service
The menu is very good and the service is also very good. The staff are very pleasant and very helpful. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Unfortunately my wife and I chose the duck. Whilst my wife returned hers which was then cooked thoroughly but sadly I had eaten most of mine by the time the waitress had asked how our meal was. Mine was also undercooked for my liking. However, the other courses we had chosen were very good.
Nice meal good service. Food is good and does what it says on the tin. Atmosphere is as you would expect of a city centre fairly busy restaurant.
Gorgeous food and lovely staff. Atmosphere inside the brassiere is a very friendly environment. Would definitely recommend the steak frites, amazing, and I have it every time I come
We were very well looked after and the meal was delicious. This is our first visit to Cote in Manchester and hope it won't be our last
Couldn't fault it, amazing service and amazing food. Best food we have ever had out and great value using set menus. Thank you so much will be back as soon as we can.
I chose the spinach and mushroom crepes and it was very salty - almost as if it had been poured on in parts. Another person had the chicken and found it dry. We ate at Cote in Cardiff and found the standard much better.
Food and service very good , minor issue with fries not arriving and request for vinegar ignored. Overall I would recommend this restaurant , nice chilled atmosphere .
Great service and food. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Will be back!
Lovely food yet again and great staff. The value for money is amazing on the two courses for £11.50. The restaurant is always clean. Fab.
Had a beautiful meal here (Manchester) with my three best friends. Ordered off the set menu which has a good range including veggie options. The service was impeccable, understated and little touches such as water being brought to the table made it a relaxed and chilled affair. Can't praise it highly enough as all four of us didn't have a bad word to say about the meals we chose, the house red and white wines or the venue / service etc. They include a service charge on the bill which we were happy to pay however on googling (now I'm not wine addled) I would have had this removed to tip the staff directly as I believe it goes straight to the company which is a shame as it was the staff who fed us and made our evening enjoyable and so I think this should be made explicit.
Food great and good service. Excellent value. A shame that two of our party who chose the soup were not served bread with it and that the bread they asked for was charged at £2.50. Also we would prefer to tip separately rather than have it added to the bill.
Excellent food. Recommend for Coeliacs on a gluten free diet as everything is prepared separately. It’s great to be able to eat fries! The service was excellent too.
Fantastic place, service and food. Only negative is that there was a surcharge of 12.5%, which is high and I like to decide myself how much I tip.
Great staff, good food, reasonable prices. The atmosphere is superb. We took some friends who have not been before, and they said that they will be coming again.

Excellent. Can’t find anything to complain about. Lots of good menu choices. Very good service. Nice environment. Would certainly go back next time we visit Manchester A bit noisy
Really nice meal, good unhurried service lovely table in the window. We had the three course set menu and the frozen berries with the warm white chocolate sauce...mmmm yummy.
Enjoyed the food. The gluten free menu was great. Service was efficient, not too over the top, but were there when needed. Would recommend. Lovely afternoon.
Very impressed on all counts - easy to book online; staff were very welcoming on arrival. My wife is on a gluten free diet and the staff and manager could not have been more helpful. Everything was explained and the food was clearly identified when served. Good value for the pre-theare meal which had plenty of choice. We liked everything we chose, but the creme caramel and the chocolate pot were especially good. Will certainly visit again.
Really great food, pleasant atmosphere ...and the wine was excellent. We took advantage of your ‘open til late’ availability and especially enjoyed the free bottle of Cabernet Syrah, received as we’d signed up to your newsletter.
Wonderful atmosphere and great service from the staff . They made a special effort for my mums birthday with a glass of pink champagne and a decorated dessert plate. Food was delicious and not long to wait. Definitely going back!
They are always ready in advance to help with the ramp for my wheelchair. Always friendly and knowledgeable about their menus. Superb value for money. Great atmosphere - getting better each visit.
Typical smart French brasserie but with rather more table space. Lunch Set Menu is a bargain with main courses well balanced but not overblown. Two courses are fairly filling and wine prices are very fair - Chablis £30 and Gevrey Chambertin £50 - in London you could triple that. Staff are welcoming and efficient. My second visit and by no means my last.
A very good evening. Good food and service. The Asparagus soup was stunning. Service was good and I got treated to a birthday drink from the restaurant.
Food was good, service was good. Value for Money. We did the set menu which was good and would definitely go back when we’re next in town.
Excellent food and service and very pleasant surroundings steak cooked to perfection it was my wife’s birthday with unexpected complimentary drink Waitress very helpful and friendly
The food and choice of food was excellent with an extensive menu. One of our party was coeliac and her needs were met in a very professional way. Service was also very good and I would certainly eat here again.
Lovely welcome from manager Ashley. Pre meeting supper on cheap menu excellent 👌 food good wine quick service. What’s not to like. Dependable always , am going back next week.
Thouraly enjoyed my 65 birthday do. Everything A Ok. I have been many times and never been disappointed. Can't think of any more to praise this establishment.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. happy to provide gluten free menu for my friend.
Restaurant was busy and a little noisy but the food we had was excellent. We both had ribeye steak which was cooked as requested. Staff were very attentive. Our first time at this particular branch but not disappointed.
