Gorgeous food. Light enough to enjoy 3 courses. Great service too. Highly recommend the crab on sourdough to start. Delicious. Have been to Cote Newcastle a few times and have always enjoyed it.

The menu offers a wide choice. All the dishes we chose were delicious. The service was excellent. It is in a good and very convenient location.

Always a good experience. Never disappoints. Staff are really attentive and friendly in a relaxed way. Dishes all well cooked and presented. Desserts are indulgent but delicious. 😀

This was my second visit and it was equally as good as the first. It is a very welcoming restaurant with a very nice ambience. Service is consistently good and the food is excellent and reallly good value all round. I will be back and will recomend it to friends.

Friendly welcome, considerate provision for someone who needs to go gluten-free; the choice is interesting and very tempting, and the price can be extremely reasonable. Service is slightly slow, but that does allow time for conversation. I've been twice today, and had something different at each meal!

Côte Newcastle easily accommodated 11 adults and 3 children and having taken the booking some time in advance, we had pre ordered food which made service slick. Staff were attentive and personable and made the experience pleasant. The food was fabulous and everyone commented on the freshness of ingredients, attractive presentation and the flavoursome food. We made some beautiful wine choices too. Some within our party had not visited the restaurant before but said they’d definitely return.

This is an outstanding restaurant. Food was excellent and staff were great. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely champagne brunch with my mum and sister on mother’s day. Highly recommend! We had such a lovely morning. The food was fantastic and great value for money as we also got a glass of champagne, juice and a choice of tea or coffee.

Served brown lettuce. When the main course came I ordered steak which came with sauce the sauce pot was empty and it took five minutes to get the sauce.

Food is very reasonably priced, even when ordering from the a la carte menu instead of the prix fixe. Gluten free options were beyond any expectations and absolutely delicious. We asked to move tables and this was accommodated immediately and with no fuss. The Fleurie was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable - attentive but never overbearing. Would 10/10 recommend and will definitely be returning.

It’s always a pleasure to dine at Cote in Newcastle. It’s a nice restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is always excellent. The French onion soup starter and belly pork main course are well worth a try. They also provide a separate gluten free menu, which is great for my wife as she is coeliac. I can strongly recommend core for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Lovely lunch, enjoyed the food very much. Had the french onion soup to start & although it was delicious it could have been a bitter hotter. Overall a very enjoyable experience. My only criticism is the tip, while I have no objection to a tip being added to the bill I think 12.5 percent is a bit too much. I will go again.

We eat at he Cote regularly and have never been disappointed with either the food we chose or the service from the staff in the restaurant. We will continue to eat there and would recommend the Cote to anyone who likes a relaxing atmosphere and good food.

Very enjoyable breakfast at Cote Brasserie in Newcastle on two separate weekends. High standards of food and drinks. Also very good value for money. Staff are very friendly and professional. The restaurant can be busy so recommend booking to avoid disappointment. Favourite of ours is the full English breakfast. Looking forward to our next visit. Excellent!

The welcome was warm and convincing, the food was well presented and of good quality, the service was just right and we felt very relaxed throughout in a neat and tidy room.

Why is alcohol so expensive here? Food was delicious. I don't like gratuities to be automatically included in the bill. It's embarrassing to ask for it to be removed. I prefer to decide how much to leave!

Another lovely meal at Côtes one of our favourite restaurants. We started with our free St Germain cocktail which was delicious. Great menu choices all beautifully prepared & delicious. Service was excellent & attentive without being intrusive.

What a wonderful evening. I had said when I booked that it was my husband's 60th birthday and we were greeted with a round of Kia Royales. The staff were very friendly and attentive and then to finish, although my husband hadn't ordered a dessert, they gave him a small dessert with 'Happy 60th Birthday' written in chocolate sauce. Made him feel really special.

Very good service, lovely ambience but the duck was not good. It was very tough & most of it was inedible. Goats cheese salad very good. Unfortunately, we had to sit next to 2 very loud females who screamed at each other through the meal

You were recommended by my daughter, who has been to the restaurant on several occasions. All four of us were given a glass of wine to celebrate my brother in law's 87th birthday, which was a lovely gesture. We had a lovely time, and intend a return visit
