Food is always good and the service is excellent. A very relaxing enjoyable evening as expected. Never disappointed with Cote which for a chain is a real achievement

Had an excellent meal on Sunday lunch time, starter steak tartar,belly pork and chocolate mousse. Great service from friendly staff, I have been here many times and it is always great

Excellent tasty food and service impeccable. We were sat in a booth which although intimate also shared the ambiance of the other diners. Timing of food was spot on. One of our main restaurants we use for special occasions as we know they deliver. Thank you.

The Cote experience never fails. Very obliging staff, ex cuisine and smashing ambience. Even Guide Dog Katie remembers her previous times and just loves certain members of staff.

Food beautiful and always so fresh. I had the Fish Parmetier and my husband had rib eye steak. Both were cooked to perfection. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. Love it there.

Fabulous food. Will definitely be back. We've converted some friends who are now fans also. The only negative was that we booked using the voucher for a free bottle of wine, and were disappointed to learn that we couldn't have it with the set menu.

We love Cote Guildford and were looking forward to visiting Cote Newcastle.The consistency of the dishes served are one of the selling points of Cote, however on this occasion we were disappointed that the asparagus in both our main courses was under cooked and the risotto was undercooked also. The general ambiance wasn't anywhere near as good as that of the Guildford branch. I understand there was a rugby tournament on and the town was very busy and all restaurants had been full to capacity all afternoon, so will give Cote the benefit of the doubt as we arrived at 5pm and it felt like the lull after the storm. Hopefully our experience was just a one off as we're huge fans and we will return but will keep fingers crossed for a better experience.

I booked the table for four for my birthday after receiving an email offering free aperitifs. We were not offered the drinks - I had to ask for them twice - we had a trainee waiter and then an experienced one and then the trainee again - by the time we received the two free drinks it was after the main course and not really appropriate by then. We were overcharged for our food due to confusion over what was ordered on the set menu and the a la carte. The small portion of bread and olives had an extortionate charge. We did not feel the 12.5% service charge which was automatically included in the bill was justified.

Warm welcome , excellent food and customer service and value for money at Cote Brassiere. Restaurant is well organised and kept very clean by staff. Would like to have some French Music played such as Piaf and Zaz.

Great food - brilliant staff. Completely reliable and excellent as ever.

Lovely lunch, enjoyed the food very much. Had the french onion soup to start & although it was delicious it could have been a bitter hotter. Overall a very enjoyable experience. My only criticism is the tip, while I have no objection to a tip being added to the bill I think 12.5 percent is a bit too much. I will go again.

Excellent Gluten Free menu - so much choice and absolutely delicious! A very busy Saturday night but staff were attentive and very friendly and not at all stressed. We’ll definitely be coming back very soon!

The welcome was warm and convincing, the food was well presented and of good quality, the service was just right and we felt very relaxed throughout in a neat and tidy room.

Why is alcohol so expensive here? Food was delicious. I don't like gratuities to be automatically included in the bill. It's embarrassing to ask for it to be removed. I prefer to decide how much to leave!

First time visiting Cote Brasserie and was very impressed. Loved the decor and the atmosphere. Very well looked after from the minute we arrived. Great food and great service.

Another lovely meal at Côtes one of our favourite restaurants. We started with our free St Germain cocktail which was delicious. Great menu choices all beautifully prepared & delicious. Service was excellent & attentive without being intrusive.

What a wonderful evening. I had said when I booked that it was my husband's 60th birthday and we were greeted with a round of Kia Royales. The staff were very friendly and attentive and then to finish, although my husband hadn't ordered a dessert, they gave him a small dessert with 'Happy 60th Birthday' written in chocolate sauce. Made him feel really special.

Very good service, lovely ambience but the duck was not good. It was very tough & most of it was inedible. Goats cheese salad very good. Unfortunately, we had to sit next to 2 very loud females who screamed at each other through the meal

You were recommended by my daughter, who has been to the restaurant on several occasions. All four of us were given a glass of wine to celebrate my brother in law's 87th birthday, which was a lovely gesture. We had a lovely time, and intend a return visit
