Disappointing dinner from a normally reliable restaurant. We dine here en famille every 2 or 3 weeks and have never had a bad meal until now. Breton fish stew appeared to be made with water strained from the veg! No taste at all! In fact, horrid! Tuna in the nicoise salad was overcooked and tough. Swordfish was cold when it arrived. The fish stew was so bad it had to be sent back and something else ordered, a goat cheese salad, and here the accompanying tapenade crostini was *burnt* (to the point of inedible). It seems the current (I presume new, or replacement?) chef burns even toast! To be fair, the managers were apologetic, swift to try and rectify the situation, and did not charge us for the fish stew or goat-cheese salad, but the meal was spoilt nonetheless. What is normally a great treat was simply a matter of refuelling. Cote Norwich, you have one more chance with us. We will return as usual in 2-3 weeks, but if we have another poor dinner, we will start dining somewhere else. A great pity ...

Really pleased with the complementary kir royal provided in recognition of my Birthday. Staff were friendly and provided top service. Food was also excellent.

Very enjoyable. Out to celebrate a significant birthday and we were made to feel special. The staff were attentive and kind, the food and drinks were wonderful, all in all a truly marvellous visit.

There are always favourites and the occasional new dish on the menu. As ever, the food represents excellent value and the service is friendly and efficient.

The food was lovely and it was easy to book online. We arrived on time and were seated quickly. The only things that annoyed me were I felt that tables were too close together so I couldn’t even have a conversation with my husband because the noise was too much with the other diners, but also we were sat on a table near the toilet entrance which wasn’t great. I think this table should be made redundant and more space allocated. Overall it felt too crowded for me and not the intimate romantic meal I had planned. We had three courses and it was all over in an hour, we felt rushed by the staff. We visited the Cote Brasserie in bury st Edmunds and this was much better all round.

The food was great, perfectly cooked Fillet steak! The staff were friendly and the service was very good. Also, the blood orange martini's were delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Lovely food, welcoming, chatty staff, nice atmosphere. There were a lot of items on the menu that were not in stock. My husband ordered the lamb only to be told later on that this too was now not available. So he ordered steak and a sauce. Sauce was forgotten. So he had to wait another five mins for it. Otherwise it was lovely.

Excellent meal with warm and welcoming service. Good value. We all very much enjoyed the complimentary blood orange martini. Classic menu, good size portions, and not too expensive; a winner.

From start to finish the service, food taste and quality and speed in which it was delivered was excellent, well done team. Although this is a chain it is so professionally delivered in Norwich, just brilliant.

Great service and good food, with very attentive staff. Only thing that let it down was the green beans which were too hard to eat and rather a grey green colour.. Otherwise very enjoyable

We eat at Côte Brasserie in Norwich regularly ie twice a month, for breakfast and dinner and are never disappointed. Staff are excellent; courteous, friendly, helpful and professional. We think the staff here are probably the best we have ever had in any restaurant. Today I requested no black pudding. 'Would you like something else instead?' came the reply. And I ordered another field mushroom. They are just so lovely. The food is always on time, looks appetising, is always well presented and flavoursome. And not over-priced. I have nothing else to add except well done everyone and I look forward to our next visit!

Welcome always warm from our host, manager Christopher, always charming and very hospitable. The restaurant was quiet when we visited (4.30pm), so we were made to feel like millionaires !!! The food was very good, consistently good, we have eaten here on many occasions and the food has always been spot on. As has the service and thanks to Christopher and Koronia (hope I have spelt name correctly) for making our visit so pleasent. See you again soon, the complimentary drink (included in booking) was lovely. Sue

Booked a table online and were greeted by name when we arrived. Introduced to our waitress who remained attentive all even. Booking online gave us free cocktails (negroni my favourite). The food was really good - calamari and asparagus followed by excellent lamb and roasted haddock. We had another engagement so no time for dessert but the bill came quickly. Really good food and excellent service made this a really good evening out.

Our favourite restauran. Best in any aspect..Because it is in the centre of Norwichthere is no parking nearby but it is worth the walk from the multistory car park

The service and the food is consistently good. I have never had a bad experience at Cote Brasserie in all the branches that I have been in from London through Bury St Edmunds and my local Cote, Norwich.

Big problems with the service on my visit on a Bank Holiday Lunchtime, delays and food not hot, apparenty staff shortage. Manager did however acknowldge problem and took some starters off the bill

We were really enjoy our meal there many time since they were open in Norwich . We do like to go there and service was very good .

We try to visit once a month and always enjoy great service and wonderful selection of specials from your menu. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff , they are so helpful. You are never rushed , can take your time between courses and enjoy the atmosphere . Looking forward to booking again soon.

A most pleasant lunch, enjoyable fare and friendly service. The French Onion soup was very good, the fish parmentier nice but a little dry and the choc mousse excellent. Wines are over expensive in my opinion.
