Côte Norwich

This was my mum's first outing following covid and I wanted to show her that you could still have a lovely lunch in a great atmosphere with good food and not worry about anything as the restaurant was observing all the covid rules. Cote did not disappoint and it was a lovely afternoon and has raised my mum's confidence levels so thank you.

Lovely meal and excellent service. I most liked that the waiters did not rush us to order but were there when we needed which mean a very relaxing evening enjoying good food and company.

Very much enjoyed the good, service and overall experiences. Each course was very flavourful and well executed. Perhaps service was a little too quick if that could be said to be a fault. Great food, service and venue. Well worth a visit.

Nice to be back. The service could have been better - not up to the usual Norwich standard! Could you introduce a plat du jour until you can reinstate set menus? This is not a price related comment but we actually find the portion sizes on the a la carte menu too large to be able to enjoy 3 courses

Excellent service - especially the Polish girl who served us. Pleasant surroundings. Would like to see more vegetarian options particularly in starters. (only soup). But the food was nicely presented and tasted very good. Shame the French posters have gone though.

The Menue offers agood selection of choices for both starter and main course and the service was excellent. However the drinks selection is poor. No cocktails Poor selection of Beers. The Meteor Beer is rubbish. Furthermore the main courses we choose-- chicken and Sirloin were both dry and badly needed a sauce. I know you offer sauces as an extra but this is no excuse for a dry main course. We think your standards have slipped!!

Great food, great service. What more does anyone want? My favourite Friday lunch spot!

Despite the restaurant being quiet, it still retained its normal pleasant relaxed ambience. The food was excellent as always, the wine properly chilled, and the service fast, efficient and friendly. Not the cheapest restaurant in town, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended as a choice restaurant to do lunch.

This was our second visit post lockdown. Food was superb as was the service. Daniel done a excellent job accommodating people who had not booked. Its a 10 from us.

We had a lovely time and as usual, the staff are lovely. Great food and so pleased you are up and running again.

We had the beef bourguignon and the pork belly; both were delicious. The staff were extremely lovely and all wore visors. It is the safest I've felt in any restaurant post-Covid. We enjoyed it so much, we returned again two days later!

As always, the food was excellent and the staff were first class. We have never had a meal here which has been disappointing.

Taking into account the current situation, the way staff dealt with customers was excellent, taking health safety into account. The food itself was very good indeed, and the atmosphere was excellent.

As soon as we entered we were greeted in such a natural and friendly way. This set the tone throughout. It was all very slick. We all thought the food was spot on Many thanks

Only problem? the hot chocolate sauce wasn’t as good as previous occasions. Staff very good and attentive.

Good food and great service! The pork belly had a great flavour, crunchy skin and sweet fat. The jus and accompaniments were ideal. The service was prompt and courteous. Great to be back here - keep it up!

The food was excellent but although the staff were very polite, attentive and efficient the courses came too quickly and we felt we were being rushed. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration meal and we wanted to take our time over the courses but in just over an hour we had had a three course meal in quick succession. This unfortunately ruined the whole experience of having a relaxing meal and having time in between courses.

The first time I have ever been to Cote and will definitely not be the last! Everything about the evening was excellent. We could not have asked for better service, food or wine. A most memorable experience. A very big Thank You to all the staff.

So nice to be back after lockdown and find everything still the same. The same friendly, attentive staff and the same delicious food.

I always love coming here. It's a treat lunch for me and I am usually on my own. I enjoy a delicious glass of red and your food, with a magazine and your restaurant never disappoints me. Your staff, as always, where attentive and friendly, even though I was rushed today, they dealt with me quickly and efficiently.

First time in the Norwich Cote. They certainly didn’t let the standards I’ve had in other Cote’s down. Friendly, attentive and professional. Always a pleasure eating at Cote.

We are long standing customers. We are very choosy where we eat. We have always had a very good meal - whether it is in Norwich, near where we live, or in London. We particularly enjoyed our meal today and the service, as usual, was first class. Thank you

A Good Welcoming reception execelent food with good flavours and service!

This was my first time eating out since lockdown. Very happy with the experience in general. Unfortunately due to the Eat out offer which ran during August, much of the choices of both food and wines were unavailable today due to a late delivery which was a little disappointing.

Yet another excellent meal, my husband and I have been to cote on a number of occasions now and it gets better each time, the service is first class all staff are very friendly and most of all happy, nothing is ever to much trouble and they work so hard too. The food is 5 star in everyway, presentation and taste, also value for money, always thoughtly enjoy our evening and will certainly become regulars. Thank you to all staff at cote Norwich. Frannie
