Côte Oxford

The staff are always very professional and the food is consistently good. Have eaten at Cote in excess of 30 times and only ever had one bad meal, a very overcooked pork belly in the Bluewater restaurant in Kent. Other than that, it has been ten out of ten every time.

Early family get together for Farther’s Day. Enjoyable evening with good food and service.

We always have such a wonderful meal and a lovely time at Oxford Cote Tonight was my sons 13th Birthday and he had chosen to spend it at Cote OXFORD The Staff went out of there way to make sure that he had such a wonderful time, singing happy birthday to him, giving him a welcome drink A wonderful place to visit

Fantastic as always from start to finish, felt thoroughly spoilt on our Anniversary Celebration, starting with a glass of champagne and finishing with a free bottle of wine, well done Cotes.

Welcoming, friendly staff on arrival. Prompt service, excellent food quality. Well presented and tasty. Second coffee was very slow coming but was obviously being made fresh as it was piping hot & delicious when we got it.

Fantastic food, great service, and honestly we can't praise the staff enough. The Oxford branch has returned to it's former glory. Will be sure to return again soon.

Our third time at a Côte, every time good service, good food and good atmosphere, we will be back again soon, consistency and their well trained staff is their advantage.

Initially I was unsure, as on arrival there was nowhere to stand to wait for our booked table. When I asked where we could stand I was told there was no space and I could wait outside! Very unusual. I found a corner by the door. Late the remaining staff were all very helpful which is normal for Côte.

In an area of Oxford abounding with restaurants, Cote stands out from the rest. Its excitingly French menu is filled with the most tempting of dishes. Its atmosphere is inviting but pleasantly calm. Its staff are friendly, welcoming and charmingly helpful. Formidable!

Great service, fabulous food. The courgette starter was lovely. I had the chicken which was delicious and my friend enjoyed the sea bream. Always enjoy the food here.

Lovley quick lunch before the theatre, my steak was cooked perfectly. Fresh ingredients and pleasant setting. My only recommendation is to book a table rather than attempting a walk in at the weekend.

Another great meal at Cote Brasserie Oxford. My 11 year old coeliac son was well catered for - numerous gluten-free choices, knowledgeable staff, and clearly labelled GF food to eliminate potential confusion during service. Service was warm, friendly and accomodating. A really lovely evening.

Brilliant steak. My father massively enjoyed the fish stew too and as I put it was my birthday when booking the table, we all received an apertif which was very nice. Service was perfect and overall a good birthday dinner.

We are regular users of Cote in Oxford, and over the years have had varying experiences. During our last visit, we would have to say that: Service, Food Quality was First Class and offered overall a well balanced lunch. The price paid was outstanding, especially for food of this quality.

Lovely food and very attentive staff. The whole dining experience was very good and the set menu was great value for money. There are always lots of great offers on as well if you sign up to the newsletter.

Not as good a general experience as at several other Cotes around the country. Starters were not served together - I had to go and ask for my partner's starter after a 5 minute wait! My asparagus starter was on a cold plate, as was my duck. The fish goujon and chips were good. Glasses of wine good. Coffee was excellent - quite unusual for quality anywhere. Price was reasonable considering central Oxford. Excellent branches visited are at Tunbridge Wells and Farnham.

What a wonderful place to meet up with a friend you haven’t seen in years. The staff were friendly, and patient as we took ages to order as we reminisced. The food was excellent. Highly recommend. Will say, glad I booked!

We were a big group at a super busy time and we arrived an hour before the reserve time, and they made it work, not only that the service was incredible. All my friends LOVED it, they all are super impressed and so am I, the food is delicious. I will be going again!

Very busy today - food over cooked I had pan fried haddock which was very dry. But considering how busy you were the service was very good but not the best meal I have had -

As usual, we can't fault Cote and really believe the restaurant offers the best value lunches in Oxford. The menus really do offer something for everyone, the food is very good (try the belly pork, the excellent soups and the creme caramel) and the staff are charming. What more could one want?

I went with 4 members of my family, we were met with friendly staff. Great friendly service and amazing food, lovely atmosphere. We come here in often and will keep coming for a long time.

Excellent complimentary cocktail. The Veal escalope was very good, but needs to be served with more than just water cress. Fries are cheap to produce and the profit margin is also good .

Very enjoyable experience, staff very attentive and knowledgeable , good value for money pork Belly was cooked to perfection and my wife had the Halibut that was served puy lentils and well cooked vegetables all excellent.

Excellent food, service and convenient location. As I have celiac disease it is very reassuring to have those attractive ‘little flags’ in my dishes! Always of a consistent standard- one of favourite places.
