Another lovely meal the pork rillette was delicious and the chicken main was excellent. Shame it was so filling no room for a pudding!

Another wonderful meal thank you. Took my partner (her Christmas present) and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal off the prestige set menu. Luke and co were as friendly and professional as ever. Here's to next time!

My son had the Ribeye steak which was very fatty but I do know that cut can be and I had the beef stroganoff and I found the pasta was of poor quality it tasted very pasty we were a bit disappointed as we always enjoy the food there.

On the evening of New Years Eve myself and Graham brought along 3 Friends along to celebrate the end of 2019 .. and to do it style .. so the 5 of us began to bid goodbye and welcome 2020 ... what better way then .. To introduce three Guests who had never Experienced Cotes ... and from stepping into the wonderful atmosphere ... ready to enjoy Most .. certainly not disappointed.. Chris ..leading his very professional team followed by Dominika and Bonnie and of course the rest of the team .. that goes to make up the Very caring and professional Young Team you have at Peterborough... we have watched this Team progress through the ranks ... every single one of them deserves recognition ... The Menus are spot on ... we look forward to the coming changes of the months next interesting of Ohh ... what have we got ... to enjoy .. relax and be entertained ... we have made many recommendations.. and it’s always nice to see others who we know .. turn up to enjoy What we enjoy ... well done Cotes See you very soon ...

My husband and I invited our friends here to celebrate my birthday, we decided to book here due to previous meals here which were excellent. However, tonight we were slightly disappointed. We were sat upstairs and upon our request they moved us swiftly. However, after this we became very disappointed with the service. The food itself arrived swiftly, however we waited a long while for the waiting staff to take our orders. This unfortunately ruined our meal.

I reserve full marks (nearly fooled by marking out of 6!) for exceptional 1-off gastronomic experiences and whilst 'Cote' isn't quite that it is, nevertheless, outstanding in its class of being a high street chain restaurant. It continues to provide tasty, interesting, good value food and the service has always been efficient and attentive. Hard floors leave the noise level a bit 'rattly' for someone with double hearing aids!

Waiter could have been more attentive as restaurant was not busy but was covered by a hostess that was very attentive. French onion soup was not available but was only made aware when I tried to order

Thos is my 4th visit here and as always the food has never failed. Great outstanding food, and the staff are always tentative, nothing is ever too much for them..my best restaurant by far..

A fantastic New Year's Eve meal. Staff were brilliant. The food was excellent. A great atmosphere. Lovely to all go and stand outside at 11.55pm to see the New Year in. Felt more like a family gathering than being at a restaurant. A really memorable evening. Huge thanks must go to all the staff on duty. All seem to genuinely like what they are doing and to get on with each other. That translates to great customer service.

It’s never let me down great food and service as usual

We usually have a great experience at Cote Peterborough and are regular customers. On this occasion, service was poor. We had to wave staff down and step away from our table to attract attention more than once. Usually food is reliably good. Again on this occasion, less than the usual standard. For example, my husband's meal of steak arrived some 10 mins after the rest of our party's food. We felt forgotten! It was pre-Christmas busy, but this really isn't an excuse.

Just enjoyed a lunch with my wife and enjoyed the food and the surroundings. However, we found that the service was a tad slow.

Not up to the usual high standards today. Main course really took an age to arrive and I sense after no doubt a busy festive period the waiting colleagues were a little tired. Will return to experience a return to the usual high service in the new year.

Very busy and the staff were under a lot of pressure. We had to wait for our (reserved) table and then service was very slow. The food was as good as usual. Luckily, I am a big fan of Cote and we eat here reasonably often so I have not been put off by this one bad experience. We were given a discount without asking for it to make up for our slow experience which was a good gesture of goodwill.

Service was extremely slow and table not fully cleared. Had to ask for the finger bowl and a bowl for the Mussel shells. Around us we heard 4 other tables with their own issues with the service. It really spoilt, what we thought would be a romantic mid Christmas and new year lunch.... but it was not relaxing at all. Have been my times over the years but I think we will leave this venue to sample better service elsewhere.
