It really was just OKAY! The presentation of food wasn't great, the chicken and duck were both dry, the onion soup was a bit of a mess (the bread wasn't edible) and was expecting a nice light soup. In general, your food is quite bland. The only reason I didn't end up complaining is because the waitresses were nice.

Our first time dining at Cote Brasserie Peterborough but certainly not our last. Wonderful service, food and atmosphere. Reasonable prices. An e cells to experience.

The chateaubriand came without onions and Dominica sorted it all out and gave us an excellent dining experience

Always good here but they appeared to be a staff member down, I think they had a couple of large groups who hadn't booked and this impacted on the normally exemplary customer service. Great food though as always - and service with a friendly smile even though they were definitely rushed off their feet.

I’ve never had a bad experience of Côte, it is always first class in everything. Last night it was a friends Birthday, they made it very special, the staff congratulated her, gave us all a complimentary drink and decorated her desert plate beautifully. Thank you Cote, Peterborough

We visited Cote on Saturday night as part of our engagement celebration. As usual we received amazing service, ate amazing food in an amazing atmosphere. The best restaurant in Peterborough by far. All staff go above and beyond to make your meal extra special.

As I say every time I dine at Cote, it was a first class experience. I cannot fault anything or anyone.

Fantastic atmosphere. Although busy, the restaurant has a calm and warm feeling. Relaxing and comfortable. We regularly eat here and yesterday was a works meal to say goodbye and good luck to a few members of staff ( retirement, promotion and wedding ). The restaurant staff could not have been more professional, even giving us a complimentary class of fizz to aid the celebration. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will be back. Thank you.

As always a lovely experience- excellent food and service. Little touches make all the difference, perfect amount of butter and spoons for the jam. Well worth a visit for a wonderful choice of breakfast dishes.

People lovely, food was very good. But sadly after main course we never saw a waiter for over 40 minutes. Weren't offered desserts or coffee. So eventually got the bill and left. They did apologise but it put a bit of a dampner on a lovely evening.

We had an amazing meal, each course was perfect and delicious. The tables however were a bit too close and we found it was hard to hear over other people’s conversations on the adjacent tables.

Excellent as always. However, one star short as you automatically add the tip/ service charge on the bill. At 12.5%! Our traditions here DO NOT do that. Yes you mention on the bill it’s “optional”, but in this country it is left to the customer to make an informed decision if to tip or not, and the amount. Typically 10% as a maximum. You’re making assumptions here and other chains do similar and it is really really really annoying to us customers. Yes I tipped, but asked the waitress to reduce to 10%. Tempted to remove it all together next time. And she looked baffled when I asked to reduce it. Madness. Sort it out please.

Brilliant staff members, delicious food. The only slight negative I would say is the very top of my slow roast belly pork wasn’t crispy, and we had the same issue last time we visited, but aside from that the meal was genuinely superb. Staff were excellent - chatty and warm yet professional. We don’t get many nights just to ourselves so it speaks volumes that the last two times we have been out to eat, we’ve visited your restaurant. Worth every penny.

Usually we love it! Sadly there was a bad atmosphere between staff. Our steaks were undercooked but too frightened to ask to redo them. Will come back again not maybe but so soon.
