A great meal, with great wine and unobtrusive service as always. A place we visit monthly ad we live out of town. Well worth the visit.

Friendly staff and good food. My only quibble is with how loud the venue is. What music was playing was just not audible, we could only hear a muffled bass note, and I had trouble hearing my partner and the waiting staff.

Very busy on mothers day and the staff were struggling. Poached eggs were overcooked but were immediately replaced. Regularly come here, consistently good food and friendly staff.

Always a great experience in Cote. The service and the food were excellent. Cote always seems to exceed expectations - it's a relatively family friendly and reasonably priced, but always feels special.

The food was excellent and at a reasonable price. It would be good if they could extend their early evening menu to all weekday evenings as it currently ends at 7.

Every time we go to Cote in Reading we have a great meal with great service and we really like the idea of monthly changes to the menu

Cote is a regular evening meal for us...........Reading, Wokingham, Eton and Marlow offer the same consistent quality of food. Monthly changes to their Menu offer seasonal choices from their French bistro/ repertoire. 12.5% Service is heavy but staff are consistently good, efficient and welcoming. The 2/3 course set-menu is surely very good value for money.

Fantastic service. Great food. Yes, it's a chain, which may put off some people. But it does everything so well that you wouldn't even notice.

Very friendly, good service, the menu had ample choices for all parties, including one who did not eat meat, and the cost was reasonable. Our only criticisms would be the heat and the noise.

We booked a table of six for 8:30 on a Friday night and were surprised to see quite a few empty tables when we arrived. Everyone had good food and the service was excellent. Will return.

Overall good experience. I have been to the Reading restaraunt a number of times and service and food is always good. The desserts are especially yummy.

location good & atmosphere excellent staff attentive without being too much quality of food on whole very good but the beef in mine was reheated causing pieces to be crunchy flavour excellent. prices on whole good except wine a little on the high side an enjoyable visit will come again.

I celebrated my birthday meal with my sister and Mum last night. My Mum had recently dined at Cote and said how great it was. Well I was not disappointed! Wonderful food and service. Lighting and atmosphere also great. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Definitely a new favourite restaurant of ours
