Côte Reading

Service was first rate yet discreet. Food was delicious served hot and presented well a most enjoyable evening was had by all. One suggestion to improve would be the Choice of music which didn't quite fit with the ambience.

Great place - biggest one I've visited so far and service food quality didn't suffer because of it! Recommend tis one if there is a large party.

Welcomed at the door.Given the Table of our choice. My wifes' gluten free requirements fully supplied. Excellent food all served by friendly and helpful staff.

Overall good experience. I have been to the Reading restaraunt a number of times and service and food is always good. The desserts are especially yummy.

I celebrated my birthday meal with my sister and Mum last night. My Mum had recently dined at Cote and said how great it was. Well I was not disappointed! Wonderful food and service. Lighting and atmosphere also great. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Definitely a new favourite restaurant of ours

Good quality food and wine, with a good variety of choices. With very friendly, patient staff this resulted in a nice relaxed and enjoyable dining experience, without feeling rushed.

The Reading Cote is consistently good. Staff are attentive at all times without being overbearing. Standards never seem to fall. Will recommend to all family and friends.

location good & atmosphere excellent staff attentive without being too much quality of food on whole very good but the beef in mine was reheated causing pieces to be crunchy flavour excellent. prices on whole good except wine a little on the high side an enjoyable visit will come again.

Excellent food and service in a very French atmosphere. Good range of food on main menu. The set menu as one would expect was a bit limited.

Very Happy, staff attentive but leave you alone, nothing too much trouble, quick to react when I dropped my knife, listened to additional request ie no croutons, kitchen followed through. Meal was quick but unhurried, hot, well presented, very fresh tasty and overall great value for money

Excellent dinner and attentive (yet not suffocating) service to match on a Saturday night. Busy but not obvious, consistent quality. Have booked Salisbury for Mother's Day.

Food lovely, service was very good. I appreciate that a tip can be discretionary but would rather that 12.5 gratuity was not added to the bill.

Friendly waiting staff and really speedy service which slowed a little once it got very busy. Felt like more staff are needed at 7pm onwards. Otherwise would've rated 6

Very welcoming staff. We ordered from the lunch time menu which was very good value and tasty. 2 of our group were vegetarian and were pleased to find they have a separate vegetarian menu.

Best meals ever & the staff were amazing thank you we will be back again very soon & thanks for the free bottle of complimentary wine.

It was great - good food and nice restaurant. Check your bill though as I didn't and we were charged for an extra cappuccino that we didn't have.

Great restaurant and really speedy service. Food was bought out quickly and tasted amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Very friendly staff. Service efficient and good. However, both the steak and frites were over cooked. I ordered a medium cooked steak which was cooked through, and the frites were cooked so much that they were brittle like crisps. The reason I have scored this as high as 5 is that the food is usually very good at Cote Reading.

Good food as usual but service was mixed, slow to begin with then asking if we'd finished when we were bviously still eating. We also had a reward which was not understood as a per person item so we were only offered a single free item for the three of us. Next time I will print the reward details to take with us.

Always a great meal at Cote. Food is fresh, well presented, great prices and the wine is good too. I recommend this place to everyone!

Good service and ambience - Fish Stew always reliable, crepes with mushrooms & spinach and great wine by the glass. Forget the mint tea however!

Visited on Saturday evening, one of the busiest times of the week, the food and service was excellent and everything we have come to expect from Cote.

It was a Lovely welcome, very friendly. Restaurant felt special without being pretentious . Great tasting and reasonably productive fed food. Would definitely book a table again

I have been to Cote restaurants in other towns and cities many times before but this was the first time at Cote in Reading. It was my birthday and we had a first class meal. The food was excellent and the service commendable. We shall definitely go there again and will certainly recommend it to our friends and acquaintances.

This restaurant is a family favourite. Only a 5 this time as they ran out of our favoured wine. Not that it mattered the special wine was a good alternative.

Have been to the Cote regularly over time and we always find it consistent for food quality and staff service and I am quite particular about eating out and obtaining food quality at a reasonable price. Cote meets my standards!

Nice meal - service a bit slow and felt a bit abandoned at the end but overall nice evening Good food nicely presented - mussels were a bit gritty

We have been to Cote many times for breakfast, lunch but mostly dinner and the service is always good and the food is delicious .

Attentive staff, average food, a little over-priced. Clean, well spaced tables. Didn't like that our reserved table was to back of restaurant by noisy kitchen and heavy footfall- restaurant wassn't busy for our 7pm booking - we were early - so moved tables.

A lovely.evening with friends. Good choice on menu. Good value for the price. Waiter very helpful with menu advice. Superb wine. Delicious desserts. Ample portion size.
