As usual great service, atmosphere and food. I had the pate and the steak which for the money is great quality, thoroughly recommend Cote for most occasions....

Cold hot beverage, eggs under cooked and the full English was cold but apart from that the sausage were very nice! One of my favourite breakfast places but seemed to be a shame this visit.

Good service, food and reasonable prices. Early menu is very good value. Atmosphere was very good. Fruit in white chocolate sauce was still frozen otherwise all good.

Service was a little slow we ordered of the set menu so it should have been quick. There were on,y 4 of us and our drinks order was wrong and had to wait for the Parmesan for the pasta the person was half way through the dish before it arrived.

Very prompt and very polite service. We did not feel rushed into ordering or pressured to leave which is important to us as we had not seen each other for quite a long while and had a lot to catch up on.

The early evening set dinner is of good value. The food is very nice and the service is good as well. The Bell Street car park is also free of charge after 6pm so it's very convenient. The online table reservation system also make it convenient to book a table.

We went there for a family birthday. The manager greeted us, the food and service were both very good. We had a great time and will be back.

Friendly helpful staff though service a little slow. Tasty food. Relaxed atmosphere. Booking system worked well but they had not picked up that one of the party was gluten free. However, once informed had a separate menu to hand which was just as inviting as the ordinary menu.

Staff went out of their way to make sure all was ok. My son has salt-free diet, and I had asked the kitchen to help. He was very pleased with results. The four of us all had different dishes, and all were good. I do think though that there should be two vegetables accompanying the dish. I just had minted peas with my lamb, for example.

The food was beautifully cooked, with a varied choice. When told it was my birthday, the lovely waitress appeared with a candle on the dessert.

It was pleasant, shame that the waitress firstly shattered my glass with a bottle of water, only to replace it with... yes, another broken chipped glass. Other than that, the food was excellent, service was prompt and polite and the ambience was very family warming & welcoming. The staff are very friendly and convivial. Have been going to this Cote for sometime. Always have same meal. Crab and tuna Nicoise. But suddenly the portions are smaller but same price.

Good food and attentive staff, but we did have to wait quite a while for our main courses. I would definitely recommend this restaurant though.

Food and service not as good as previous trips - the mussels to start has hardly any sauce. The duck was grisly and chewy and the creek brûlée for dessert was different to times before as it was grainy and mushy - such a shame for £90 and slow service

Great food and efficient service as always despite the restaurant being very busy on a Saturday night. We had a small wait for our reserved table, but this was soon forgotten about once we got stuck in!

We went to celebrate my husbands birthday on Mother's Day and even though the restaurant was very busy the food could not be faulted. All four of us had different mains and starters and all was excellent.

Service very efficient, not too noisy, despite there being children. Food delicious. We were a little disappointed that we did not get crackling with the pork belly, but otherwise I could not fault the food. Amazing deserts. Chocolate mousse and creme caramel to die for!

It was a very enjoyable lunch, the staff could not have been more helpful and they gave the Birthday Girl a glass of pink champagne :-) the food was really nice too. Many Thanks to all the staff for making it a most enjoyable Birthday Lunch.

Everything was fine, service, food well presented, hot where it should be attentive staff but not in your face. The only thing that let the experience down was the ladies toilet, there were no hand towels.

This is a nice French restaurant with a large car park beside, free of charge every day after 6pm, which makes it very convenient. The food is also quite appealing.

Incredibly slow service with the food, took an hour to get our mains after our starters! Nobody topped up our wine or replenished our water throughout the meal. When food finally arrived my chicken was burnt and tough underneath. The final insult was the fact this restaurant put a 12% gratuity tip on your bill, even for a table of 2! We asked for this to be removed as the service and food was not worth the high cost. Very disappointing.
