Excellent service and food - the creme caramel is to die for! Unlike most chains, that we avoid, this is just brilliant and the food is like that within France. We have been back three times in the last month despite long some distance away. We will be back again soon - thank you
Have learned to pre-book for busy times. Salisbury has many and varied places to eat. Cote remains one of our favourites. Good food, good service, good atmosphere.

As always if there is a Cote Brasserie in town we be there. They never fails to impress with their extensive menu and wonderful specials. Always a delightful experience at a good price.
I took an elderly friend with me so it was her first experience of dining at a Cote Brasserie. The service was good and the food freshly cooked.
A charming venue. Prompt friendly and efficient service. Very tasty food and good value. Ideal for a pre-theatre supper. The online booking system worked well.
There was a problem with the main course. It was dealt with quickly though and an alternative provided. Also money knocked off bill to compensate. Service good and atmosphere great as always.
I love this Cote Brasserie. I am recognised as a regular customer and always well looked after. The food is always well prepared and presented.

Very nice food, although Rib eye steak not as nice as on previous visits, quite fatty, but the duck was delicious! Profiteroles still a little frozen too in the middle! Nice ambience and not rushed out for the next booking so nice and relaxed.
The staff are very friendly & professional - the atmosphere was good - the food was great with plenty of choice - overall it was a very pleasant evening
We had a very nice lunch at Cote Brasserie in Salisbury. The meal was delicious and the ambiance great. I have been several times before and it never disappoints.
Lovely, lunch, and served quite quickly as we were off to the theatre for the matinee performance. Busy, lively, great service - what could be better!
Food and service always great - always look forward to my visits and will be there again. We have also had breakfast at other Cote Brasseries which we would also recommend. Now time to try a visit in the evening !
Consistently fabulous food whenever we visit. Staff are always pleasant and friendly. It's a firm favourite for eating out and we have many happy memories from taking friends there.
Unfortunately my minute streak was very tough, first time that has happened to me at Cotes. However I was impressed that they removed the cost from my bill without me asking.
Prompt service, well cooked and presented food. Restaurant was full but our table reservation for a pre-theatre dinner was secure. Good value prix fixe at £12-95 for three courses. Friendly service merited the optional 12.5% service charge.
A very tasty set menu And very good value for money, with excellent service. We always enjoy visiting Cote on our shopping trips Salisbury. It sets us up for the rest of the day.
Another excellent lunch at Cote. I had the egg florentine to start - naughty but nice - and I was glad there was just one egg on top of half a muffin as this is a rich starter. Followed up with hake with chickpeas, olives and tomatoes which was very tasty and cooked just right. My partner had the pear and endive salad, a great mix of tart and sweet, then the hake. £25 for two including the tip and we came away very happy!
A delicious pre show meal in a lovely atmosphere. The meal was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff were very attentive and friendly explaining the dishes. Service was brilliant.
Server was friendly and helpful. My starter was a beetroot salad which had a disappointing dressing. Kids' calamari was great - really crispy and succulent. Husband had boudin noir which was great. Main courses - others had steak frites or sirloin - which were cooked to perfection. I had fish cakes which had an overpowering sauce and was a bit disappointing to be honest. One minor point I would like to make - water in bottles was not chilled - in previous visits we have had ice/lemon in glasses. One of party is diabetic and kids have a food intolerance so we tend to order tap water - simpler. It's a nice touch to ensure that the water is cool!
Excellent. Lunch was served promptly and hot. The french onion soup was just right, my steak was juicy and tender - med/raw as I like it, and out veggie friend was very impressed with both the selection and her choices - warm beetroot salad to start, crepes for the main. We'll be back.
Another excellent meal served by friendly staff. Meal was piping hot and arrived promptly. Restaurant was busy but that did not diminish the quality of both the food and the service received.
An ideal location for a delightful meal prior to going to the theatre. Mid-week two course menu is excellent value be there is a wide choice on the main menu to cater for all.
Good food and friendly staff. Cote in Salisbury has not let us down yet. The creme caramel is one of the best I've had- delicious!
Service was slower than usual and although we'd booked ahead we had a table right bang beside a service area so my wife had to shout as I'm deaf...

I had a very good experience at Cote this morning. The food was excellent and the service as well. I visit Cote regularly and always enjoy the whole experience.
Good food, well presented in the right quality and quantity for the price. The menu is varied and caters for herbivores as well as carnivores ..... The restaurant is pleasant and the staff friendly. Some staff spent time chatting to each other, but most were well trained and attentive. We will go again.
Lovely meal. Restaraunt was busy, which is always a good sign, but would have liked more room between us and the neighbouring table. Service good
Booking through Quando worked well - except I've no idea what happened to my Cote Reward of a bottle of wine! Food was very good and the service always very attentive but not over-powering. Will go again.
Although very busy with people dining before the theatre, the staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and the early bird menu superb value.
Good friendly service, Food quality good. Suggest you book if you want to dine at peak times. My wife and I use this Restaurant regularly when in town.
As always our pre-theatre meal set off our evening in style. A party of 6, we had friendly and efficient service and and an enjoyable meal. Always reliable.
Efficient and friendly service, steak cooked to perfection. I can recommend this restaurant for a pre-theatre mean. Why have I got to write more words than this?
Although I'm a frequent visitor to the Salisbury restaurant, I still find each visit exciting and pleasurable, with truly memorable dining experiences. I've already made two future reservations.
Service was good, as always. We both enjoyed our starters, but we both thought that the Haddock Parmentier was weak and watery - I guess that's why we were given spoons as well as knives and forks with which to eat it. Either way, there was no taste of haddock, leeks or cheese.
Unfortunately the service was somewhat chaotic, due to "everyone arriving at once" according to the manager. There were lots of people having a pre theatre supper. The waiter was apologetic but the order arrived with the potatoes that were asked to be omitted and we were charged for the complimentary bottle of wine. The starter salad of egg and bacon had no dressing and was therefore a little disappointing. The risotto was excellent. The chicken was a little dry. Not quite up to the usually standard.
VERY GOOD TABLE LOCATION. WARM GREETING. PROMPT SERVICE. VERY GOOD FOOD, FRESH & GOOD FLAVOUR. GOOD MENUE CHOICES. LOVELY ATMOSPHERE. BIG GAP BETWEEN STARTER & MAIN. VERY GOOD QUALITY & VVGVFM !
went for a birthday treat for my mum. She had a lovely time, really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Will definitely go again and recommend to others.
Excellent service, great food and you take take as long as you like. What's not to like about this fab brasserie? Probably my go-to restaurant when I have friends to stay and even if I'm on my own, they're so welcoming.
Excellent customer service from waiters as usual. Food was good from both the A La Carte and Spring Specials Menu - particularly lamb with roquefort sauce. One disappointing aspect, mentioned to waiter, that Chargrilled Breton Chicken - despite being small - was slightly undercooked. Not a lot of atmosphere but was Sunday evening and few customers so possibly to be expected, unfortunately one guest had not visited before and felt it was 'dead'.
Quick and efficient service...terrific value for the set price meals! Ate in the Salisbury restaurant which was incredibly busy but the waitress remained calm throughout.
Always great food at Cote. Good service and buzzy. Great choice for pre theatre dinner. Enjoyed the fishcakes and ice cream, with a kia royale.
Always enjoy coate restaurant, food never disappoints and a very friendly atmosphere. Staff very well trained and make you feel welcome. Would always recommend it
The service was excellent The menu choices were very good The only slight problem was that our 4 main courses did not arrive at the same time
Table d'hote was imaginative, competitively priced and sensibly sized portions - not too much nor too little. To guarantee a table booking is strongly advisable. Attractively situated in a former Sunday School, the seating arrangements are a little cramped, but not excessively so.
Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and great food. Starters and mains were brought out in quick succession, wine was topped up when needed. I highly recommend eating here!
Restaurant busy but staff efficient and pleasant, as always. We had two courses each - liked the chicken, walnut and avo salad a lot and we were each given a glass of complimentary Kir Royale as it was my birthday. Good to know that Cote soon to open in Bournemouth, just 20 minutes walk away.
This is our restaurant of choice in Salisbury for a pre theatre supper. Lovely ambience, friendly staff, excellent service and good, hot food served quickly. Very good value for money. We like the early evening set menu which changes monthly. Highly recommended.
My son and daughter took me to Cote brasserie for a Mother's Day breakfast, It was delightful, the staff were attentive,we were not rushed and the food and coffee were delicious, Thankyou for a lovely experience.
The food was lovely but the service was somewhat slow although we accepted this due to it being Mother's Day, the tables were just a little too close to each other
Fantastic food and great service as usual! Steak Frites and Moules were delicious and I was so happy to see Soup de Poisson on the menu, it didn't disappoint. Recommended!
Always enjoy coate restaurant, food never disappoints and a very friendly atmosphere. Staff very well trained and make you feel welcome. Would always recommend it
