Côte Sevenoaks

For the first time , I cannot give this restaurant 6/6. Although the starter was fine, I chose from the specials - grilled plaice. Over cooked and watery, and very, very small. Poor value and a bit of a "con". It won't put me off Cote in general but next time I'm in Sevenoaks, I may try a different restaurant. Staff were, as usual, very nice, but made us feel rushed an a restaurant that was only a third full.

Great service, good food good value. We went with our two children and I ate the chicken pate to start and then had the veal escalope. That is all I have to say.

As usual, very good service, delicious food and despite having two courses you leave with a feeling of satisfaction rather than being stuffed! Excellent wine too which we had free on the offer through Cote Rewards; thank you!

Brilliant service. Excellent food. Would recommend the fish stew. Without a doubt the best creme caramel I have ever had. Will definitely be going back.

Great food, great staff and great value. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience as always. We have never had a bad experience or bad meal in Cote Sevenoaks. It's a real pleasure to go there.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and good food. It was easy to book and tho' busy the service was good and relaxed, and we did not feel rushed

Nice evening out spoiled by a few things that just need not have happened: The code I needed to show on my phone to get the free bottle of wine didn't work? My starter was brought to the table noticeably later than the rest of the table and was cold? The extra vegetables I ordered with my main course never arrived? And even my sweet seemed to take an age to arrive? Not the end of the world, and the coffees were on the house... but none of it needed to happen the way it did.

Always enjoy our lunches at Cote in Sevenoaks. Good food well cooked, good service, good central location, good restaurant layout - plenty of space, always well looked after and welcomed. Varied main menu and good other daily options.

The food on the whole was good - the calamari in particular were very well cooked. Service was friendly and efficient. It was a pleasant atmosphere.

We had a good choice from within the menu and enjoyed what we chose (plaice and duck), the setting at Sevenoaks also is very good.

Excellent food, nice surroundings. Helpful staff...length of time between courses was typically French! A nice evening would recommend if you are in 7 oaks !

Two meals were returned as the chicken was not fully cooked and was pink. Another of our party had undercooked chicken but did not return the meal, but just ate half.

Excellent attentive service and good steak & frites! We were met courteously and offered drinks and choice from the menu and while eating we were asked twice if everything was in order, which it was!

Food was generally fine but the food arrived VERY slowly. We were in the restaurant for over three hours which isn't great when you have young children. We asked for the gluten free menu. There was at least a 10 minute gap between the starters arriving and the bread that should have gone with it and you can't eat pate without bread. I had to ask twice for the bread before it finally arrived. The main course that three people wanted had already run out by the time we arrived at 12.30. This is ridiculous. The wine was delivered to the table but not poured which meant that someone had to get up and pour the wine for the 6 people drinking wine. I would have expected the waiter to have poured the wine not just put it down on the table. Both my daughters wanted ketchup yet only one small one pot was given to one of them. My chicken was over cooked and therefore very dry. We have been in the past many times and had much better food and service. It was a really big shame as it was my husband's birthday and his family had travelled many miles to be there.

great value, a serious meal, eclipses all other chains, tip top, staff charming. wine reasonable. cooking excellent. good fries. fish well cooked, the funny thing is that it is as good as a "serious" restaurant - so it must be a serious restaurant. Oh, quick service to boot!

Food quality was great. Service mostly good. Once finished eating we were left alone. Had to flag people down for more water and the bill

our visit, as always, was a very pleasurable experience. Very attentive and polite staff, particularly Igor. The food we chose from the varied and interesting menu was excellent. Very quick and good service and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Very polite and attentive ~ wishes me Happy Birthday on arrival and our Kir Royale arrived without being promoted. Food was delicious served promptly and totally enjoyed our evening. Thank you

Very friendly staff who were attentive to our needs and were able to advice on choices. The restaurant has nice seating arrangements so that you can have a quiet table if you want and you are not overlooked by the entire restaurant.

Always consistently good. Had eggs royals and my guest had breakfast complet. I had two excellent flat whites. Very efficient and great food. I always come back for more

Sevenoaks Cote Brasserie is a great venue for a pre show meal if going to the theatre. The food is always good and served promptly but with enough time between each course not to feel rushed. Staff are helpful, efficient and friendly. Good atmosphere and nicely positioned seating. Highly recommend.

Nice new menu. Great salad option for those saving calories for puds! Staff were efficient and helpful. Nice lunch with my Friend. Would recommend it !

My partner & I find the food in the Sevenoaks Côte to be of a really good standard and eat there regularly. It's also a place I use when meeting friends for lunch. The menu is varied and 'specials' change frequently, I think it offers something for everyone. The restaurant is well run and the staff are all very professional but really friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Good food & considerate service. We all had very differing requirements but these were met flexibly even where they didn't quite fit the meal plans on offer. A slight mistake swiftly rectified.

I have always enjoyed this restaurant but on this occasion the service was not good. One drink and two meals were incorrect plus a sauce was missing, resulting on calling back the waitress three times

A very good impression from the start. The restaurant had a comfortable atmosphere, the service was prompt and friendly. We had the early evening special which gave plenty of choice. The food was perfectly cooked and excellent value for money, and the ambience cheerful and lively.

For a chain restaurant, this branch is consistent and of very reasonable quality. My only criticism is that a couple of the staff do not have good English skills and though I twice ordered Chardonnay, I was brought Chablis on both occasions. Whilst I appreciate this is of the Chardonnay grape, it isn't actually Chardonnay and I paid the price!

Great food and good service, wide choice on both the al a carte and set menu. The prices are reasonable and it was easy to book online.

Hi, This food was the BEST I have had eating out in the last 7 months. everything was fabulous. I had the Moules to start with and the proven ale sauce was perfect, just the right amount of kick. Then I had the Chicken Chasseur with was Devine (although I did mention to the lovely waitress when she cleared the table it could have done with something green on the plate like a sprig of broccoli?) as there was only mash and the lovely lovely sauce.), then I had the WORLDS MOST DELICIOUS Creme Caramel...Wow...I am an excellent cook and my friends who came with us is a superb cook too, and she recommended it saying "it won't disappoint" and it didn't, it was much better than even I can make, just like a Creme Brûlée with a soft caramel top....ooh, I can taste it now. wines were nice if not a bit on the prices side, think that could be much cheaper, we had a Bergerac first £23.50 excellent, and then a bottle of house white £19 which is a bit on the prices side as it was not the best house wine I have had, could shave about £3 off that in my opinion (you'd probably sell more). The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful., and the decor good (but my daughter could tweek it with a bit of umph here and there as a Designer) . Can't wait to return for another fab meal. The food and service were quite good but we found it more expensive than usual. This is all I want to say at this time.

An excellent menu and lovely staff. We go each week and look forward to our dining experience. A true taste of France in England. Dining cannot be much better than this.

We have enjoyed our special night out at Cotes. We enjoyed the good food and were spoilt by pleasant staff. We are looking forward to be back some times.

Another brilliant night at our "go to" restaurant in Sevenoaks. Cote never fails to deliver exceptional quality of food and coupled with the fantastic service it always makes for a wonderful evening.
