Côte Sevenoaks

It was lovely to be back at Cote having lunch with a friend. Meet and greet, was as warm as ever. The service efficient, felt very safe with our waitress and the PPE she was wearing. Our food was even more delious then we remembered. Can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful experience and so thrilled that you are back and have re-opened. The food was very delicious...service was a little slow but we put it down to the first day of working out how to operate under Covid restrictions.

Had a really nice lunch and the service was fantastic. Our waitress, Daisy, was very helpful and couldn’t have done anymore for us. We made the most of the eat out to help out deal which was very usesful.

How wonderful to return and discover all the lovely staff still there. We received a great welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, as usual.

Everyone was very professional and accommodating. Everything was well presented, the menu was adequate given that it had to be a little less fulsome because of the Covid-19 restrictions. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, as usual in Cote - I have missed you!!

Lovely food, lots of choice and all cooked well. Staff were rushed off their feet but still maintained a decent service, will definitely return!

Pleased to see you open again. As always had an excellent meal in cote today. Steak good, green salad really fresh and better than usual. Also had creme caramel that was delicious another diner came up to express how good it was. I had a kir royal. It’s a good idea having it on menu.

Fantastic to be back with lively welcome from staff and fab food etc as before.

I ordered chicken and walnut salad but there was too much oily dressing and only two broken bits of a walnut in it. The salad was served in a bowl and I thought I'd find some walnuts underneath the lettuce but no. So I mentioned this and they gave me a discount off the final bill.

The food .....I had the prawns followed by lamb was excellent and the service was first class and I still think the creme caramel is the best I have tasted ! The atmosphere for me was just right, whether it was a quiet dinner or a birthday party and tables were well spaced. I am new to Sevenoaks and I was my son’s guest. However, I was a regular of Cote in Brighton. I shall be back, thank you. Gwendoline

Excellent, the various offers and varied menus just encourage you to return again and gain. The Staff are very attentive and you have no real competitors in Sevenoaks . A tough business to maintain footfall and you do it very well. Quality of food is consistent and I am always delighted to book a table . Congratulations, keep going , Sevenoaks is a difficult town to succeed in Mike D

I have been to Cote Sevenoaks many times and have always had an really wonderful experience, but Saturday night was an exception to this I'm afraid. My son's steak was full of gristle and was woefully undercooked - it was blue rather than the medium he asked for. My wife's salmon on the otherhand was sadly overcooked. My pork belly was excellent as always. Our waiter was missing in action for most of our meal and after having such good meals in the past, we were really disappointed.

Normally have never have a bad meal at Cote but this night kitchen must have been short staffed. Extras arrived after meal was finished, we were served over cooked and dry sea bass instead of haddock. Waiting staff did their best.

The staff are always welcoming and friendly Plenty of choice on the menu and the good quality.The sevenoaks resturant is nicer then some others as it has space between the tables so you can talk and you are not competing with other diners.

I shared my thoughts with you about 6 months ago giving details of excessive noise made by staff in the course of their duties and other matters of concern.I gave what I thought was very valuable and helpful comments. I never received an acknowledgement or thanks. Last night showed no signs of improvements, why should I assist you further? We shall not be returning ,having visited you many times in the past. Great booking service online really quick! Arrived at restaurant got a corner table as requested. Friendly staff, good table service as usual! All food was cooked and well presented manager very courteous and efficient really made the evening go well!! Thanks to all at Côte Sevenoaks!

A great Fathers' Day Lunch with a bonus of complimentary Negronis. We are regulars at this particular Côte which continues to never disappoint!

Just had an early evening meal which has been very enjoyable. Had the pork navarin which was very tasty followed by a chocolate pot, yummy. Very good waitress service, polite, friendly and attentive. Overall a very nice evening, tasty food and a very affordable bill.

We really enjoyed our meal today. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food delicious. There was a nice atmosphere and felt very relaxed. Our waitress was great and came to our table when we were ready rather than haranguing us which was nice. I highly recommend this restaurant and would certainly go again.

Our expectations were met in every way. On arrival greeted and shown a quiet table (as requested on our booking) in an area we know and enjoy. Food to our liking and enough to enjoy. Waiter brought my wine when I wanted it and remembered that request. Cannot fault them tonight . Thank you for making our anniversary a good one .

Very noisy and cramped seating area. I had called this morning to ask for a table near the entrance as my Mum is very frail and can't walk too far but instead we were seated right around the corner near the serving area! We could hardly hear eachother speak during the meal as it was so noisy and my Mum being 89 is nearly deaf! It was the most unrelaxing meal I have ever had! the chairs were wobbly so we swapped those and the soup was cold. Not up to the usual standard.

I must give credit where it’s due the service was good and the food was excellent as all waysi. I. Took some friends that had never been they enjoyed the Atmosphere and food very much both said they would return

Good choice, including veggie options, well served and sensible pricing, a great way to start a holiday for family flying mid morning from Gatwick, parking was easy also.

Was quiet Tuesday lunch time. Food and service was good. Free cocktail was appreciated. All in all a pleasant time was had by the 3 of us. Would go again.

Really excellent evening. We began with the gin cocktail - which was very refreshing and a good strength. This was foc as we had a full price main course.We thought the service was excellent and both our main courses were cooked to perfection. We especially came to dine at Cote Brasserie as I had noticed that you were serving Crepe Grand Marnier and I just love this - we both had this desert and it was fab.

Pleasant experience for lunch on Saturday. Fortunately, we requested a seat by the bar and this was reserved for us. Other seating in the restaurant feels like you are sitting in a corridor so I would always select seating in advance.

Great service - very friendly. Great food -always reliable. Good atmosphere too.

The Prestige Lunch time set menu was very enjoyable and good value. The French onion soup was delicious and rich with cheese and onion. Apple crumble and ice cream was a delight.

Enjoyed a Mother’s Day lunch today with my wife and Son we ate from the special Mother’s Day menu we all thought the food was exceptional service was as usual very good!! Many thanks to all staff at Côte Sevenoaks for making it a really memorable day!!

Nice ambience, attentive (but not over the top) service, extensive menu, nicely judged flavour combinations. Nothing that's too heavy. All in all a really pleasant experience. Will be returning.

Although we went for the pre 7pm menu, arriving at 6.45, the meal was very rushed and we were all done having had 3 courses by 8pm. It just felt like a conveyor belt, I understand if it was pre film for The Stag, but we wasn't. Also sadly we found a bone in one of our chicken pies, we informed the waitress, encase anyone else had this problem, but she said it was a vegetable, I know a bone when i see one! Overall not a great night and will definitely think twice before going again.
