Another excellent experience at Cote. Food, drink, service and ambience all up to the usual very high standard. An offer of ice when we found our water not very cold reflected the thoughtfulness that we have noticed on other occasions. As ever, the value was outstanding for the quality and quantity of food and drink.
Excellent and friendly service at very busy time of day. Pre theatre menu very good value and wide choice of dishes but fish slightly dry and overcooked.
Food, service and value for money good but lacked decore and thus atmosphere in L shaped room ,such a pity would not go back as there are better venues elsewhere.
Unbelievably noisy. Difficult to have a conversation or to hear others at the table. Very slow checking people to their tables. Long and unnecessary queue. Food average. Waitress excellent.
Lovely location. Enjoyed my lagoustine starter and minute steak. My sister didn't enjoy her fish main. Very peasant staff. Good wine. Often come here and it's very good value if you have the pre/post theatre set menu
The brasserie was really busy, nevertheless the service was impeccable and the food as always was excellent. I only wish there was one in Putney!
Good value for money and food never disappoints! I like the buzz of the place and all day eating is a bonus. Highly recommend it!👍🏻
Excellent service good food and very prompt. Food very hot and tasty. We would return to this restaurant if visiting the area again. Nice friendly staff
Great service and perfect for pre theatre dinner. Recommended for an efficient and well presented restaurant. Try the avocado and crab mousse and steak frites
Very nice food. Good prompt service. My only reason for not giving a 5/5 is because of the noise levels. Unfortunately this is a problem at most of the Cote Brasseries I have been to in London, Bristol, Chichester, Oxford and York. I think the only exception was Cote Barbican. All lovely restaurants fir a lively meal, but not ideal if you want a quiet chat with a couple of friends. However the food and service make up for the slight shortcomings of the surroundings.
Busy night but accommodated our party arriving 30 minutes early. Ordering was a little slow but overall good service. Food was fine off the speedy menu. Definitely will go again. Peter
Polite staff though slightly slow service on occasions. Delicious food and varied menu. A little noisy at busy times, not brilliant sound acoustics. However I like the atmosphere so will always return!
Sadly my first bad visit to Cote...had the worst steak tartare I've ever eaten...large lumps of unminced beef...very unpleasant...they immediately offered to change it for me but by that time I was so put off I couldn't face anything else...
Nice greeting & seated promptly by friendly staff. Nice to see menu prices & the quality of food and service is the same across the chain. Would highly recommend.
Delicious first course of langoustines...well priced lunch menu...and managed to get the table I requested. A good first time visit for my New Zealand guests..thank you
Onions mentioned on description of July specials but missing when served and only realised at end of meal when memory refreshed on re-reading menu again. (The duck which may have been over cooked). Rather noisy need for sound muffling features.
on point as always. tasty chicken and sea bass served on time with friendly efficiency during busy lunchtime service. try and get banquette window seat to LHR of entrance...
Went for lunch and there is an excellent set menu for £12.50 Good food but quite noisy and hard to chat with my friend. Great service considering it was so busy.
Good range of food from good value set lunch to lighter meals as well as more substantial main courses. Large choice of wine too. Helpful service.
Courteous service, good menu and wine list. I am a regular at Cote Cobham and Cote Sloane Square and have been to several others; the quality is consistent.
Great food and service in a relaxed dining environment. Breakfast is fresh, varied and of good value. Excellent in all areas and very good dining experience
Such speedy and solicitous service despite the fact the place was crowded. Delicious food as ever...and at such a reasonable price (especially for Chelsea). We shall be back!
Excellent service and quality of food. Always seems to be consistent wherever you go. The various menus provided ample choice and we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
Consistently good food, good staff too. Only drawback about Sloane Square, not the ambiance, but when crowded, the low ceiling amplifies the noise and it's sometimes difficult to hear or speak to one's fellow diners. Not sure what can be done about that, apart from going at a less busy time! Won't stop me going though!
A really nice experience - meal, atmosphere and service all great. It felt like we were in France - the food was definitely up to French standards. We'll go back.
Very good food which is at a good price and the wine was delicious and inexpensive! The attitude of the staff was excellent and really friendly.
Very friendly and efficient service. Food as always with Cote delicious and great value. Great ambiance, decor and not noisy! Was a very hot day so the aircon was most welcome!
Good service, pleasant atmosphere, not too busy. Enjoyable food, although my French guests felt that the 'Languestine tails' were scampi and not what they were expecting from a French brasserie.
We had great service from all staff. They were very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was very busy but we had no problems attracting attention. The food - steak frites and tomato salad was delicious.
Very good thank you. The food was really delicious (I had the haddock and lentils) and the staff were attentive. Would recommend Cote to others
Very noisy restaurant. Cream Caramel not up to the usual standard of Cote. Under cooked and smaller than usual. So much so that we sent it back once as it fell apart before eating. I do hope Cote are not cutting quality for economic reasons.
Sat at a table close to the front on a hot evening, nice outlook onto the square and excellent value pre-theatre menu. The food was of a high quality. Will definitely return.
The staff that looked after us were fun, and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzy. We all enjoyed our food ...my only complaint was that the noise levels because the restaurant was full, were a little high ......
Had a great time with my Mum. The food was yummy and service was good. The prices were very decent too. We had the lunch menu. :)
Great value - had pre-theatre menu which has a good selection of dishes. Staff friendly and service was good. Not pushed to leave even though place busy, which sadly happens far to often. Will return
Excellent pre-theatre menu. Varied, giving wide choice of dishes. Friendly staff and very efficient service. Both my daughter and I would rate this branch of Cote as one of their very best.
Had a very pleasant lunch at Cote Brasserie after the Prom. The set lunch is very good value. I had moules and frites and the peach crumble. Both were excellent.
An excellent and reasonably priced dinning experience. I and my guests had the pre-theatre menu, which offered plenty of choice. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The service was professional and courteous. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely. What more could one ask for!
Excellent pre theatre menu. Seated and served promptly and there was a good choice on the menu. Waiting staff very pleasant and efficient. Good price for two or three courses. This is not fine dining but a very good french restaurant with good choice at a reasonable price. Food was served piping hot which is always a bonus. Would definitely return especially for a pre theatre meal.
The staff gave very polite service and good pre-theatre menu which made it not too expensive - but wouldn't have wanted to have strayed from that!
We love Cote and are frequent customers to branches all over England but were disappointed with the service at this one. We arrived and no one took our drinks or food order until we asked as we had been sitting there for a while. Our food (which was delicious) then arrived before we had been given our drinks. We had to keep asking for everything we needed. We have been to many different branches and the service is always great. The staff were very nice but it seemed that they clearing up after lunch and forgot about the customers around them.

A meal at Cote is a great way to start an evening at the theatre or a concert. We can always find one close to most of our favourite venues. The food is excellent, the staff are always well informed about the menu and are friendly. My only complaint is that the lack of soft furnishing means that the noise levels can get high.
Good value for money brasserie - varied menu and choice of wines. I would go there again and represents good value for money particularly for this part of London - or even London generally. Can be quite busy.
The food was fine and some of the staff were really helpful but it took a long time to be seated and the air-conditioning was far too cold.
Great pre-concert meal made even better by the very helpful and efficient staff. Felt well looked-after even though the restaurant was very busy. Look forward to returning again very soon.
We were a party of six yesterday and everyone felt they had enjoyed their evening enormously both in terms of the quality of the food and value for money.
Wonderful food but it was a very hot day and the air conditioning was not working, it was rather uncomfortable. The service was also unsatisfactory, our waiter was not attentive.
Friendly, prompt service and a good range of dishes on the set menu. Although the restaurant was busy, we were able to chat comfortably and enjoy the ambience. Very good food and excellent value for money. I'm a strong supporter of Cote. Margaret. ( Brighton)
good service but hints that the staff dont get the service charge that is added to the bill.also the restaurant is very noisy and some effoert to dampen the cacophony would be appreciated
good food and excellent staff particularly the waitress. This was our third visit and all three have been excellent. Would happilly recommend to others. thank you
