Côte St Paul's

Though we, as a party of 4 were waiting for one person to arrive, we were still left waiting for a long time for any order to be taken, once the party was complete. During lunch times it can reasonably be assumed that some people may need to go back to work, as was the case for us. The drink order was incorrectly served up which we needed to bring to someone's attention. When to food arrived it was fine but I am unsure of how the potato pieces in the Sea Bream are cooked in as they had a rather odd taste. All in all a fairly average experience. My first time visiting this chain, and two others in the group both suggest that food standards are not what they were. Given that the restaurant was not full to capacity, can't see why things were as they were.

The restaurant was very understanding when we had to change our booking. Food and service was good.

Never fails to deliver good food and a great atmosphere in which to catch-up with friends or hold a business meeting.

This restaurant, and the chain in general, is simply put top drawer. I have never had a bad meal or experience c/o Cote Brasserie.

Good service, nice food and decent value. Upstairs is a bit small but on street level. Downstairs much bigger but no natural light.

The staff here were amazing...especially Nila and we had a lovely table to celebrate my mums 85th Birthday. The food was excellent and highly recommend!

We had our work Christmas dinner here. The menu was good with a range of options for different dietary requirements. Very reasonable drinks add on.

A great meal, had to return a main course as it was cold but this was quickly rectified and all good after that.

Very enjoyable, nice food and company. We enjoyed the various set menus and had a good night out.

The service, food & drink were very good. However the restaurant was very busy and as the tables were close together it was very difficult to hear ourselves speak from time to time and indeed the waitress found it difficult to hear all that we said.

We greatly enjoyed our dinner at Côte St Paul’s and feel that the restaurant is back on track after a downturn last year. Very good food and wine this time and excellent service. Congratulations.

There is room for improvement in terms of service, efficiency , staff’s interaction with customers and greeting of customers, compared to some restaurants where you are welcomed with a smile , staff introduce themselves by their name, take you to your table withou having to wait ,as it would have been reserved well in advance , laid and reserved all ready , fir when you arrive. ( instead of being made to wait at the busy entrance then lay the tables with missing cutlery ...etc.) No efforts from staff to thank you for your custom, bid you goodbye or to impress you for another visit. . Very robotic and conveyor belt exercise , if you ask me. There is a dire need for staff training here, in custmer care and service. Sad to experience these as ther are some very highly efficient restaurants providing ACE service and customer care making your experience well worth going back again and again.

An excellent Cote which is close to St. Paul’s if you happen to be visiting! Great service and reliable food as normal.

When we arrived the restaurant early Saturday evening it was quite empty - not surprising considering it City location but it filled up rapidly. The service was excellent and the food up to the normal high Cote standard.

Friendly service. Surprisingly busy on a Tuesday lunchtime. The calamari was delicious but far too much as a starter - need to share with someone. Not the best T-bone steak I’ve had but ok. Creme caramel as yummy as ever. Slightly odd set up as is part of a hotel. If you have problems with stairs it is possible to use the hotel lift to get to the basement toilets.

Good food and excellent service from front of house to waiting staff. Very reasonably priced food with a wide selection of dishes including vegetarian to choose from.

Party of 6 for dinner: food was great, service could have been a little more attentive as we kept having to ask for more water, but overall really good and will be back

This was our second visit in two days. Quality still as good, great service. You can always rely on a lovely meal at good value.

You know what you get with Cite. Good food, good service and a fair price. For a business lunch or private dinner, Cote works well for whatever the occasion. At St Paul’s Cote they maintain the attentive service and tasty food tradition.

The tables are very cramped for 4 adults and two of the main courses were not hot as they should have been. Definitely not as good as the previous 2 occasions we have eaten there total bill for the 4 of us £160 plus

Here for New Year's eve & it was a bit disappointing. Service was too slow on a fixed menu although appreciate that people would want to spend a relaxed time on this evening. Nevertheless, I had to ask a couple of times when dessert would come as we needed to be out of the restaurant at a certain time. It took more than 45 minutes of waiting & we had to leave. They then arrived & we bolted them down. Did complain & had a reduction on bill. Not my usual experience of Cote.

I had breakfast at Cote in Ludgate Hill. The food was excellent, beautifully cooked, and we were given friendly service in a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere.

Had Christmas lunch here with family... waiter was great at making all age groups welcome, and accommodating regarding menu despite some confusion with menu booked initially

St Paul’s Côte has a lively atmosphere with friendly hosts. Staff are attentive but not overly so. Food was very good. Relaxes evening, staff didn’t rush us.

This amazing restaurant is situated within view of St Pauls. We sat outside and had an amazing meal. Would highly recommend this place. The service was great as was the food
