Côte St Paul's

We were eating early so as to get to a concert and restaurant did not seem to be fully staffed. All was Ok if a little disorganised, compared sat to Charlotte Street.

Good value lunch menus. Food was very nice today. Service was efficient and waiter was friendly. Good atmosphere always very busy here and right by St. Paul’s cathedral

1. My fault - Should have returned soup as it was warm. 2. Bill requested but no response and had to contact another waiter later

We Like Cote because of the consistency in the quality of their food. Also, the staff at this brunch are really friendly,

We had an excellent meal and our waiter was very pleasant and attentive. ( Would have given a 6 but the lettuce could have been crisper.)

Great food, good menu deals - even at the weekend, and very friendly service. Make sure you book a table as it gets busy during the week.

Very good food and service. Staff very friendly. We were not rushed at all which we appreciated. We sat downstairs which was rather hot and stuffy.

Cote is always consistently great. Great food, Great service, Great value. We've never had a bad meal there and I believe we have tried the entire menu by now!

The food was seriously good and excellent value. Lovely welcome but we chose to eat downstairs. Unfortunately there were two large parties which made it very noisy and also very hot! Staff worked very hard and kept calm. We will return .

There was great service and great food and at reasonable prices for London. What more can I say except I will come back to here again.

Come here quite often, usually with overseas visitors (I'm a private tour guide). This place is generally very good; certainly my clients were very happy with the food and the service.

Downstairs was a bit lifeless but outside for the second half of our meal was lovely apart from the smoker at the next table!! Thank you

Saturday lunch so an unusual time for me and haven't been to this branch before. It was ok, great staff, ambience ok, food - lamb special ok. My friend said the fish parmentier was delicious as usual!

An excellent dining experience. The cuisine is authentically French, well cooked, prepared and presented. The wine list has been carefully compiled and the prices are quite reasonable for the central city location. The service from our Hungarian and Spanish waitresses was exemplary.

The service really was extremely poor with long waiting times, poorly trained staff and lack of attention to detail. This is a pity because we have very much enjoyed our visits to this restaurant in the past. For some reason the standards really seem to be slipping. It was very noisy as well. Overall disappointing.

Although it was a busy lunchtime the service was extremely slow considering we ordered off of a set menu. Despite the slow service, our food was very nice and would recommend.

Very good service and selection of food - gluten free was also great in for quality and variety. Would recommend this place - and will be coming again!

Professional, courteous and friendly staff. Great food, reasonable prices and a wide choice of food and wines available. The restaurant is ideally located adjacent to St. Paul’s Cathedral.

The service is very good with staff being attentive but not intrusive. The food is of a good quality and at a reasonable price considering you are eating in the heart of London. I have used this branch of Cote for about 6 years (usually 8-10 times a year) and I would recommend it to anybody.

Good food. But the two times that I’ve been here for mid-week lunch, the service has been slow. There doesn’t seem to be enough servers, so ordering and getting the bill took a while.

The four of us enjoyed our meal and especially the St Germain gin and tonic. It was a very busy lunchtime but food and service were usual high standard and good value.

Good service. Nice atmosphere. Restaurant was very busy. Did forget a dish but were quick to bring it out and apologetic. Enjoyed the food which was good.

Service was good. Starters were nice but unfortunately the main courses were not great which is unusual for Cote. Maybe a bad night in the kitchen !

Food was mediocre. Calamari was greasy. Ribeye steak was chewy and tasteless. Desert was appalling. Service was great though. Waste of money. Do not recommend.

I was disappointed. Having enjoyed this restaurant on many occasions, I found that the service was not as good as usual and the ambience was very noisy. There were three of us and we had to keep asking each other to repeat things because we couldn’t hear each other’s voices. Overall I had the impression that the restaurant was in danger of going downmarket.

Excellent staff who dealt in an exemplary way with a problem. The best service in London, and the best value for decent food of any chain restaurant. Exceptional!

Food was as expected and a varied menu. Service was slow but once in the system service very good and not hasseled. Was unaware that if service charge on bill was paid as part of a card payment staff did not receive it. Paid full bill including service in cash as a result. Would visit again.

A stalwart brasserie for me. I come regularly for client lunches and the standard of food and service are consistently high. Steak Tartare followed by a Sirloin steak makes it easy to stick to my low Carb Diet!

Cool and pleasant atmosphere on a steamy night. Helpful staff who accommodated my husband's dietary requirements cheerfully. Excellent menu for a summer evening, promptly served and beautifully presented.

We had an amazing service from our Spanish waitress! The meal was delicious and a seat with the view of St Paul's was spot on!

A very pleasant, unhurried lunch in the air-conditioned comfort of this charming restaurant just a step from St Paul's. The service was good, and the food excellent value, especially the lunch menu, featuring a superb ratatouille starter and a delicious plaice and mash main.

2 set menu's was a great option. friendly staff & good food. The location is great. This is a great place to go for value for money .

Cote is always a great meeting place to catch-up with friends or colleagues. The service on this occasion was rather disappointing - I'm not sure the waiter wanted to be there. The food and wine didn't disappoint and the ambience was great. The level of service just put a bit of a down on the meal.

Poor service, had to ask for our drinks twice, had to ask to order, had to ask for missing food and for more drinks, no apology when food was wrong

Excellent as usual. we arrived 40 minutes earlier than booked and it was no problem for them to accommodate us. The food was of the usual high standard and service was faultless. Well air-conditioned too!

The service was appalling and horrifically slow. We had to cancel one course as it took over an hour to get two courses, and that was with persistent attempts to get the food quicker. Do not eat here if you require a business lunch.

I was one of a party of four. All our meals were served together, which was fine, but my food was cold. I assumed it had been cooked first and left lying around. I reported the issue to the manager, who arranged for a replacement, which arrived without any further problem. The matter was further resolved by my not being charged - thank you. Tip: hot dishes should also be served on HOT plates.

Great central location. Quick and efficient service and lovely food. Good place to catch up with friends and would happily recommend this as a meeting place. Will return again.

Very busy restaurant, service inconsistent, some waiting staff were attentive & others a little surly We were not offered the Prestige menu, but it was given when we requested it We also noticed a small mistake on the bill which was rectified when pointed out The food was Ok but the ambience was lacking compared to other locations of Cote that we have visited
