Food was great as always and service was superb on a very busy Mother's Day lunchtime. I actually complained about slow service a year or so ago so credit where it's due. Service was excellent and the restaurant was well staffed and very attentive Congratulations to all in Tunbridge Wells. Will be back for sure.
As uaual the food and service was first rate and the restaurant very busy. Pity that there were no window seats over the midday period

For the first time ever the food was less than perfect. Both the potatoes and the asparagus were undercooked and a little too hard. This affected the flavour too. The crème caramel was divine as always and the salmon was also delicious.
Friendly greeting. Free aperitive had to be asked for - tasty but I think the Gin was rather whort! The Lamb was well cooked and very good but the accompaning vegatables had too much salt. My wife thought the Monkfish was excellant and we both loved the Crepes. See you soon.

we had =such a lovelt tie at the Cote tinbridge wells. we started with french onion soup -which unfortunately wasn't the best but still OK, the calamari was amazing as were the mains - very happy with the service. it was rather noisy in the restaurant but that was because it was sooooo busy.. and a Saturday night!
Reserved the table 45 mins before arriving no problem on arrival, food great, service great, price great, atmosphere great Thank you for a lovely lunch.
Food quality was really low. We felt like a production line on Mothers Day. Food Didn’t seem freshly cooked apart from the eggs. Service was still good.
Lots of staff but felt like we have been fed and watered so on to the next, to be honest used CAU then COTE then back to CAU etc etc. Feel service could go back to what it was, because, the food is excellent had great food, just put a little more back to the customers as YOU USED to still a great place to enjoy a meal in RTWw
Another lovely meal with exceptional service and food. Tunbridge Wells Cote never fails to deliver. Particularly enjoyed the frozen berries with warm white chocolate dessert!
Great service and delicious food. A clean and welcoming environment with good lighting, and tasteful decoration. Lots of choice of delicious food from different menus and the set menus are great value.
We had a great time. Would definitely return again soon.
Food is great value for money and the service is always great.
We often eat here and it's always perfect. It was partner's 30th Birthday yesterday and the staff provided us each with a drink. It was fab service as always!! Delicious food.
Brilliant experience as always: food, ambiance, friendliness of staff and service!
I met a friend for dinner before we went to an evenings entertainment. The food was delicious. We sat upstairs and the lady serving us was great. Very polite and efficient. We both said we will definitely be returning.
Good food and service and we enjoyed the overall experience. Only negative was we didn't like the upstairs area. Its a bit clostaphobic and we prefer downstairs so a choice would be good when booking next time
As always impeccable service and excellent food. Need I say more??

Having been to Cote many times since it arrived in Tunbridge Wells, this was not a good experience. We were a table of fours ladies the Resturant was not half full, yet the stuff were struggling!!! I had to keep asking for menus, or when our meal was coming. When our main courses did eventually arrive mine had asparagus, my friend didn’t, it was a totally inedible mush resembling grual of rice pudding !!! One friend was gluten free, but she and the fourth person had to send their fish pie back, again tasteless and runny. Not a good experience
Consistently good food and great service from everyone. Can't wait to go again. Would - and do - recommend Cote Tunbridge Wells to everyone I know. Thanks guys.
A very romantic atmosphere, delicious food; the perfect place to celebrate Valentine’s Day! The service was excellent as always and the food really good. I highly recommend the chicken in bacon.
Fab place, nice atmosphere at lunch time today when visiting with family, great food, great service by friendly staff. Would definitely go there again.
Lovely family meal this evening. Friendly and attentive staff and well-prepared and tasty food. WE have been coming here periodically for years, and feel Côte has got better. Only thing that would make it better wold be a few more menu choices/variations
Very inattentive We went for dinner but as part of the booking we had we get a complimentary cocktail included. Firstly we get sat at an unready table The waiter comes over and asks what we like to drink and we mention we had a package deal And he ran off all confused, he comes back with a lady who knew a little more about it and went off to kindly get it for us. He then takes away a type of menu because it’s excluded with the compliments drink (understandable) but then he comes back over with it and says oh actually you can order off this menu if you don’t have the drink. He then brings us over a bottle of water and our appetiser comes as well we had no water glasses and no napkins provided and It was very hard to get hold of the attention of a waiter/waitress even thought it was not busy this night and we have been here before on a much busier night and had wonderful service, Any way we eat our appetiser and the waiter goes oh I’ll bring you some water glasses, we wait 10 minutes never happened my parter had to get up and ask at the bar. The mains come over and no one had cleared our appetiser plates away and then someone came over and removed it as the other plates were going down and the waitress put my dirty fork from my appetiser back on the table for me to eat my main with very weird as it was used for meat and my main was fish not very pleased with that, as the waitress was there I asked if I could please have some ice for my water she said no problem that ice never came and then I saw her leave from her shift, we then asked the waiter. Still no ice so my parter gets up again and the ice finally arrived after Mains finished. may I add still no sign of any napkins but thought not to bother asking at this stage as nothing else we asked for arrived all in all food was average and service zero to none we don’t bother ordering dessert we decided to go to another restaurant for dessert and after dinner drinks because the service was that poor. My partner then gets up to pay the bill and I was not there but he said to me he mentioned the issues we had as feedback to the lady he paid and she seemed to be the supervisor that evening of the restaurant and way her response was that’s how we do our service here if you don’t like it don’t come here and suggested we never book again. Very unprofessional and nieve. All in all it’s a big shame because we have come here many times for drinks/coffee before and dinner a couple of times and never has it been this bad. Completely inexcusable and as a person who has managed a 4 star 2 AA rosette restaurant I know good customer service and what we received that evening was pure untrained and rude staff who seem to not care about their business.
We took advantage of the current glorious weather to enjoy an al fresco lunch now the crowds have lessened after the half-term break. Our biggest dilemma was what to order as there were so many dishes we fancied but we ended up with the cheapest lunchtime menu because my husband spotted Eggs Benedict on it. We weren't disappointed as the food was up to its usual good value for money standard with prompt, friendly & efficient service. Our only minor regret was we didn't have any fish as the various dishes being served up around us smelt delicious - just a good reason to return again soon :)
Excellent service and food, especially as it was a busy half-term day. Our waiter was lovely especially when I realized I had ordered the wrong pudding.
Fantastic as ever. We are regular visitors. The restaurant accommodated my Dad's wheelchair needs so well and in a way that respected his dignity. Food brilliant. As was service.

I came here for my 18th birthday yesterday and the service was amazing . Staff is very smiley and kind and the service was fast and the food was amazing .
We were a party of 7, including an 11 year old. All of us enjoyed all our meals - especially my grandson and his massive coteburger! Only one slight wrinkle - we were not offered our complimentary cocktails. Perhaps next Time? Thanks for good food. CM
The early evening menu was great value for money as usual. Food standard is consistently good. Service was also great and not too long to wait.
We have had a great time at Cote, Tunbridge Wells this lunchtime. Great food and such helpful, friendly staff. We had a table for 8 and nothing was too much trouble.

The service overall was great - friendly, professional and attentive. Our food was delicious and arrived quickly with the children’s food served first :-) It was a lovely sunny day and we sat outside - the atmosphere was fab!
Busy restaurant - very good menu - good choices for all the family. Pleasant staff, welcoming and choice of table available. All round a pleasant evening with the family
Really enjoyed our visit. Both food and service were excellent. Have to say a very authentic French Bistro feel with great Steak Frites and very nice Chocolate Mousse with a glass of Muscat. The cheeseboard was also very good.
had a great evening, fabulous food and great service as usual.
Good food and service. Noisy table slightly spoilt the meal.
Very pleasant staff, courtesy helpful nothing was too much trouble. Very generous amount of food. Restaurant very clean. Spotless toilets. Good value and excellent meals.will tell friends and will go back
We chose the Cote Brassiere for a pre theatre dinner as it is close to the theatre. A very good overal experience and the unexpected complimentary sparkling wine added a nice touch.
In recent past had some disasters, however last night the food was Superb and perfectly cooked! We had fillet steak and it just melted in the mouth.
Its mother’s day. My Mum specifically asked for hard yolk fried eggs as she can’t eat runny yolks as per medical advice. Breakfast came and the yolks were clearly runny. We asked again for hard yolks and they took her plate away but left my plate. My breakfast went cold whilst we waited for my Mums breakfast. The whole point of going out for brunch on Mother’s Day was to enjoy our brunch together. When Mums breakfast arrived we started eating and noticed one of the yolks on her plate was still runny. We pointed it out to the waitress who offered to get more eggs but we said No as our brunch experience was already ruined.
I requested a quiet table and got one upstairs by the window. The waitress was super cheerful and thoughtful. We thought the meal was delicious; the well done burger was a little charred but the Breton fish stew and garlic bread was in a league of its own and the creme caramel and lemon sorbet were heavenly. I’ve been here before and the Team are always really nice and the food is great.
Lovely.meal. No fault with food. Didnt like being charged 12.5% service. I like to decide what I this is deserved! I ended up giving more as waitress didn't bring me change!
My Eggs could have been warmer. Coffee could have come quicker.
Super service - lovely food - perfect evening and will defiantly return :)
Delicious food, as always, excellent service and great atmosphere. Went for a pre-theatre supper. 6.15 booking for a 8.00 curtain-up worked very well for three courses, but no coffee. Complimentary Kir Royale available in connection with the theatre tickets, which was a nice treat.
Fantastic food from a large choice, excellent service with friendly staff and very good value for money. Very well worth a visit any day of the week but booking advisable as it gets very busy.
Good food and wonderful attentive service. Atmosphere always great and staff very polite and good choices of menu. Food always arrives in good time and online booking works really well.
Well spaced tables so we didn’t feel any risk. Lovely food and fab service
Excellent meal. Quickly and politely served. Good was good value and tasty.
