A lovely evening with plenty of time to eat before our show 😀
Nice food, as usual at a reasonable price. Staff very friendly and helpful in moving our table without any fuss. The restaurant was busy, but service was still quick.
We often eat here and it's always perfect. It was partner's 30th Birthday yesterday and the staff provided us each with a drink. It was fab service as always!! Delicious food.
Great value menu at 13.50 for three lovely course - the boeuf en croute was excellent - as was the service. As always a lovely experience!
Great service and food. We will be back. Thank You.
Excellent meal as usual. Pleasant helpful staff. Cote never disappoints.
We had a really excellent meal. It was Mother’s Day so it was very busy. The service was great and the staff were working their socks off but still had time for us. The only criticism was the acoustics, which are very bad. We had 5 calamari and 5 fillet steaks. Delicious.
We had a pre theatre booking which was delivered very professionally and the Food and service was great. We will be returning to this and other venues
We had a 2 course set menu at £11.90 Plenty of choice. Attentive waiting staff. Would recommend. We had the £11.90 menu - delicious Chicken liver parfait with sourdough bread lightly battered whitebait two in our party had the chicken and really enjoyed it - i had a very tasty fish. excellent coffee.
Excellent service and food, especially as it was a busy half-term day. Our waiter was lovely especially when I realized I had ordered the wrong pudding.
Once again a great experience. Cote does not behave like a chain. More like an independent.
Busy Monday night, lovely meal, very attentive staff, can't fault it
Great atmosphere, super food and wine. The staff are extremely friendly and professional.
Food good....staff excellent. Reccomend the new French 75 drink. Champagne/Gin& lemon. What's not to like !! The staff very helpful and attentive. Food a food standard as always.
We were a party of 7, including an 11 year old. All of us enjoyed all our meals - especially my grandson and his massive coteburger! Only one slight wrinkle - we were not offered our complimentary cocktails. Perhaps next Time? Thanks for good food. CM
Had a good meal it is were we like to go all way made welcome and food very good only drawback very noisy but not a lot can be done will not stop us going
Another lovely meal at Cote. Friendly staff and reasonable value. Good selection of dishes, and good with toddlers in tow given it's a large lively restaurant.
This was a pre theatre lunch and the venue was very handy for the theatre and the lunch was very enjoyable. One if our party required gluten free and it was great to have a specific menu for him rather than just a few items marked gluten free on the main menu !
The restaurant was extremley hot, we were seated against a wall in corner and the courses came so fast we were in and out after 3 courses and coffe in just one hour. This is not a realistic French experience! The food was ordinary at best, so overall a very poor experience and had the audacity to charge 12.5% service.
A fabulous steak. Lovely ambience. Great wine choice. Service was attentive without being over the top. Would happily return in the near future abs recommend the restaurant
As always, a good atmosphere and good food. Service was a little slower than usual but that didn’t matter too much.
food was excellent and staff were superb but the restaurant was sooo noisy. Could not hold a conversation easily

Really enjoyed our visit. Both food and service were excellent. Have to say a very authentic French Bistro feel with great Steak Frites and very nice Chocolate Mousse with a glass of Muscat. The cheeseboard was also very good.
Fab place to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Great atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service. Perfect for all our ages ranging from 19 to 84! Plus added nighttime advantage of being able to park right outside. Thank you.
We had a lovely tasty meal, the staff were friendly and attentive. The wine was delicious and the complimentary cocktails of the month were yummy too (sign up on line for a monthly offer)
Excellent all round for large family gathering - prompt, friendly & efficient service, and the food was very good too!
Good value brunch and friendly staff. We have been coming to Cote since they opened in Tunbridge Wells. Have also visited Brighton, Chester, Sloane Square and London by the Thames and Barnes
I am a regular guest at Cote Brasserie. A friendly welcome always given. Great menu with special appreciation for gluten free needs. Good food +wine; excellent value too. A go-to place throughout the day.
In recent past had some disasters, however last night the food was Superb and perfectly cooked! We had fillet steak and it just melted in the mouth.
Excellent service - fantastic food - love this restaurant so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️
A lovely evening with great food and service. The waiter found out it was my birthday, brought a pudding with a candle on the house.... lovely touch and made it very special. We always visit Cotes before the theatre, a great start to the evening!
Its mother’s day. My Mum specifically asked for hard yolk fried eggs as she can’t eat runny yolks as per medical advice. Breakfast came and the yolks were clearly runny. We asked again for hard yolks and they took her plate away but left my plate. My breakfast went cold whilst we waited for my Mums breakfast. The whole point of going out for brunch on Mother’s Day was to enjoy our brunch together. When Mums breakfast arrived we started eating and noticed one of the yolks on her plate was still runny. We pointed it out to the waitress who offered to get more eggs but we said No as our brunch experience was already ruined.
Our pork belly was. Oh cooked on arrival. Two of us the. Had to wait 30 minutes for our meal when our party of six had finished their meal
Very pleasant lunch in a relaxed environment. Staff very accommodating and friendly.
I cant praise the Tunbridge Wells Cote enough. The ever changing menu always has lots to please and the food is always cooked perfectly. Staff are always really friendly
Had the veal, bit tough and too rare. Bit unusual for veal, but was vert tasty. All other choices by my party was very good.
A little disappointed. My chicken dish tasted divine however the chicken was woefully overcooked. In fairness as I didn't have time for a replacement my mainnwas taken off the bill. My dinner companion asked for just one course off a two course menu but was charged full price. Think that should have been made evident at the point of booking. Good atmosphere

Great classic French food and service with a smile. Authentic bistro atmosphere all beautifully presented. Attentive waiters and nothing too much trouble. All three generations loved it and looking forward to our next visit. Great value for money too!
It’s always a lovely experience at Cote, with excellent food and service. Tonight we met up with friends, last week we had a family birthday with young grandchildren. They were well looked after!
Food amazing. Staff snatchy. taking menus and plates aggressively, and not attentive to us during our meal. The lady that seated us didnt looked happy to be working there.
My guest and I really enjoyed our lunch at Cote Brasserie today, food was delicious, service is always good and there is a Pleasant ambience. My only comment is that It would be nice to have a little more space between the tables.
5 star food and service!!!!! I went there to celebrate my birthday and my evening was beyond expectations! Thank you so much! Will come back
The lunchtime 3 course menu for £13.50 is great quality and value and the welcome on arrival and waiting service is always warm and friendly. With hard floors and no soft furnishings, it can be a bit noisy but that also does create some atmosphere.
Good service. Pity that the Beef Pie only had 2 small pieces of beef in it as otherwise it had a wonderful set of flavours.
Lovely food and excellent and prompt service. Cote never fails. Fantastic value for money. Best service in all the Cotes we have visited. Many thanks.
The food was lovely, the service was great and it was good value for money.
Lovely food nice atmosphere fair price. Really pleased there was a vegan and vegetarian menu. Our wine was lovely as well.
Jolly nice and Value for money with Friendly staff and good quality food. Would definitely recommend this and will go again for pre-theatre meal next Saturday. Thanks
