It is always such a pleasure to go to Cote in Tunbridge Wells, they have an exceptionally good team and very welcoming Managers especially Krista, the GM (apologies if I have not spelt her name correctly ). The Presitage Menu is a bargain do try the seafood linguine or pork tendlion they are delicious! Remember to book as it is not easy to get a table without a booking! Keep it up Cote, you are our favourite!!

Cote Tunbridge Wells is always a pleasant experience. A well run place, friendly efficient staff and the food is dependably good with an excellent choice.

Usual very pleasant experience, at a reasonable cost for three courses. nice wine perhaps a bit expensive (5 euros in a French supermarket?) but overall very satisfactory. Nice coffee at the end.

Duck beast excellent as was risotto. Very attentive service. Staff always put themselves out to find a table for us even when it’s hectic. Thank you.

Staff were exceptionally helpful, attentive and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble. Vegan and vegetarian menu was great, so good to find in a French restaurant.

Food was lovely- we had the set lunch menu. Gluten free option was available giving me lots of choice which is very rare with set menus. Service was good and price was very good value

We had a 2 course set menu at £11.90 Plenty of choice. Attentive waiting staff. Would recommend. We had the £11.90 menu - delicious Chicken liver parfait with sourdough bread lightly battered whitebait two in our party had the chicken and really enjoyed it - i had a very tasty fish. excellent coffee.

We were a party of 7, including an 11 year old. All of us enjoyed all our meals - especially my grandson and his massive coteburger! Only one slight wrinkle - we were not offered our complimentary cocktails. Perhaps next Time? Thanks for good food. CM

The food was presented very well and tasted delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and made our evening even more enjoyable.

The restaurant was extremley hot, we were seated against a wall in corner and the courses came so fast we were in and out after 3 courses and coffe in just one hour. This is not a realistic French experience! The food was ordinary at best, so overall a very poor experience and had the audacity to charge 12.5% service.

Efficient, friendly staff and vegetarian menu was offered as I had asked online booking for this. Omelette with frites was a lovely surprise for both of us.

A lovely evening with great food and service. The waiter found out it was my birthday, brought a pudding with a candle on the house.... lovely touch and made it very special. We always visit Cotes before the theatre, a great start to the evening!

Its mother’s day. My Mum specifically asked for hard yolk fried eggs as she can’t eat runny yolks as per medical advice. Breakfast came and the yolks were clearly runny. We asked again for hard yolks and they took her plate away but left my plate. My breakfast went cold whilst we waited for my Mums breakfast. The whole point of going out for brunch on Mother’s Day was to enjoy our brunch together. When Mums breakfast arrived we started eating and noticed one of the yolks on her plate was still runny. We pointed it out to the waitress who offered to get more eggs but we said No as our brunch experience was already ruined.

We like to eat here when visiting the area, which is only about once a year. A pity it's not more often! The tables are well laid out and not squeezed together like so many other places. The food is very good and has quite a range of different dishes. However, the real stars are the staff! They are ALL very polite, upbeat and friendly and really add to the enjoyable atmosphere and experience. We will return whenever we can!

Good food, good wine, good service, good price! My wife and I enjoyed another nice pre-theatre meal last night. Especially good were the rib eye steaks. Only downside for us was the brainless musak in the background - very annoying, impossible to hear and rubbish anyway!!

Good service. Pity that the Beef Pie only had 2 small pieces of beef in it as otherwise it had a wonderful set of flavours.

Slow service and food not up to standard. Mussels were rubbery and tasteless. Asked three times for the card machine, waiting 25 minutes.
