The restaurant was a bit noisy but those concerned did settle down eventually . Staff were very tentative & I really enjoyed the meal & experience

Excellent but would like to be actually given the option of adding the 'optional' gratuity to the bill on the card machine rather than it being added by default.

Great food at reasonable cost. Service was warm and friendly and a relaxing atmosphere. We have eaten her before and had a really good experience.

Breakfast with 2 under fives, for whom patience is limited, so, the food arriving quickly helped, understanding waiting staff for whom nothing was too much trouble helped to make it a very pleasant experience.

As always food and service at Winchester cote brasserie of very good quality. We ordered from monthly set lunch menu so very good value too.

Lovely crab starter/lamb main good and cool crisp Sauvignon blanc. Table at front was good. Very pleasant meal. Not sure why this web site makes you enter 25 words!

Seating was comfortable. Service was not brisk but the food was very good, especially the fish pie as not too much potato ! Overall, good.

This was a first visit to a Cote restaurant . We booked it to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were treated to a few special surprises which made our day. Thank you.

Table was reserved as requested, food excellent and served by a very pleasant young lady. We were unhurried and thoroughly enjoyed a very pleasurable lunch experience.

Good friendly service, very helpful with our voucher. Really lovely starters, all 4 of us thought they were excellent. The mains were more disappointing as the mussels in the fish stew and the risotto were well overcooked. We all enjoyed the creme caramel and coffee afterwards.

Usual appealing food and ambiance. Which ever Cote restaurant one chooses one can be sure of a warm welcome from all members of staff. My only negative point was trying to attract attention at the end in order to pay.

Very nice meal and good service in a relaxed atmosphere only let down by the cappuccino coffee served at the end of the meal not being very hot.

The staff were very helpful, and the menu choice enjoyed. my cod goujons were not the same as i had in another Cote restaurant!! there i had received smaller ,and many, pieces.I thought yours were more like a fish finger!!!! It may have been the wrong day to eat out, however small children and parents who have little control of them, are a detriment to enjoyment for others. There should be a policy of suggested calming down toys provided by Cote or alternative seating areas.

Good service. Best steak I've had in a while. Prix fixe menu good value and reasonable choice. A rather limited selection of wine by the glass.

Very rude upper staff but actual waitress was nice and kind. Wouldn't go back in a rush as felt like leaving multiple times when talking to the manager.

Excellent food and quick service at the Cote Brasserie. I visited on Mother's Day for breakfast so the restaurant was extremely busy and we thought we would have to wait a while for our food, however, the food arrived very quickly after ordering our fresh orange juices and the staff were all very attentive and efficient.

Staff incredibly helpful and nice and menu and cooking reliably good. We ordered steak and each of them was nicely cooked. This is a restaurant I enjoy going back too.

Really lovely day for Mothering Sunday lunch. Fabulous food (Chicken and Walnut Salad highly recommended) and good service - remarkably quick, actually! Place was busy but didn't feel unpleasantly noisy at all.

My wife and I always enjoy our visits to Cote at Winchester and today was no exception. Fine Food, good wine, pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. What else could you wish for?

Staff excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Food very good. Last time we ate at Cote in Cheltenham it was not a good experience but if it is now as good as Winchester we may change our opinion and give them another chance!

I thoroughly recommend Cote Winchester for any occasion. It really does cater for all tastes, and offers a wide selection of dishes which really would appeal to anyone and everyone. At last a restaurant that delivers exactly what people actually want to eat, and to such a high standard. Our waiter was warm, friendly and efficient.

We are regulars at this restaurant. The online reservation system works well, the choice of meals changes each month, the food is well prepared and arrives hot when it should and the staff are excellent.

We always enjoy Cote, the menu is good with reasonable prices, and the service is efficient but very relaxed so you never feel rushed. Third visit and we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves each time.

Friendly staff, good value early evening menu. House wine was fine. Shared a cheese plate for desert which was ample for two. Will return. Becomes very busy after 19:30 on Fridays.
