Côte Windsor Restaurant

Food was very good. Nice choice of menu. Lovely setting. The waiter seemed the be having an off day. Couldnt get the desert as it had ran out. Other option small but delicious.

Great food and service. We were well looked after and had a fantastic view of the river and the castle! A great venue when you have overseas visitors.

The restaurant was cheerfully busy yet the service was brisk, efficient and professional. The food was, as ever, thoughtful and well cooked. Looking forward to my next visit!

We waited for a very long time just for a basket of bread. We asked for a second one which never arrived. My husbands steak was not hot not even luke warm. That was dissapointing and has happened previously. We let the waitress know but no gesture was forth coming.

A really great restaurant on lovely location with delicious French cuisine .The staff are also very helpful and attentive. The Creme Caramel is particular delicious.

Lovely setting on the banks of the Thames friendly and helpful staff. The 2/3 course menu is excellent value for money. Would definitely eat there again.

Love this restaurant - delicious food, one of the healthiest places to eat in Windsor as the food is all freshly cooked, balanced meats and vegetables. The service is great, its a lovely location next to the river and reasonable priced.

I booked on behalf of my Director, Wayne Fowkes, who had a table for 10. on arrival and once shown to the table they waited 10/15mins before catching a waiter. he was a bit worried as he thought the evening was not going to go well. Also I had recommended the restaurant to him. Great food & service, but it's a shame that a service charge of 12.5% was auto added to the bill. Although it's a 'Discretionary' charge, it still makes one feel obliged.

Great location by the Thames in Windsor. The beefburger on the lunch menu really good. Staff friendly and attentive. Lunch menu had a couple of good options at reasonable prices

wheres the crab mayonnaise starter gone! my wife and I were very disappointed to not see it on the menu. there are no other starters here that she likes. have to say we had great service and lovely mains, I did have a dessert to make up for the lack of starters. all in all a very nice meal but we won't be back now till the menu changes as we both like to have starters and main.

Very good service and food and lovely setting. My only slight issue is the automatic 12.5% service charge. I prefer to decide how much to tip.

Lovely setting by the river. The doors were open all around. Lots of air and a relaxed feel with great service! Great with our 6yr old too. Will definitely return.

Average food and stressed staff, lovely seat with river view though. Woking branch was much much better service so will stick to that branch of Cote in the future

As usual first class service with full attention from staff and excellent unfussy service. Excellent menus that change each month, though i always have the "Dark Cholate Pot" for dessert. Also having decaf coffee is a bonus. We normally visit at least once a month, before the Theatre in Windsor, and it is an ideal starter for a great evening.

Food was good and view of castle was lovely but service was not great tonight unfortunately. First time I've experienced poor service in this restaurant. They just seemed too busy.

Have just enjoyed a lovely lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday. From the moment of entering Cotes in Windsor we were made very welcome. We had the set three course menu, which was delicious and beautifully presented. Our waiter Hicham was very attentive to our needs and had great customer skills, very polite, very courteous and very attentive. Our meals were piping hot and delicious. We go regularly to this restaurant and always have good service and great food. Thank you for a memorable time.

A lovely birthday meal and celebration. Nice to be seated outside but the service was a little slow with other tables nearby getting faster service and more attention. Amazing fish stew!

Always difficult to fault the food, service and value for money at Cote, wherever the location. The Eton brasserie has a particularly fab location, right on the river, next to the Windsor bridge. Our waiter was charming, professional and extremely tolerant of our two lively daughters. The three course set lunch was amazing value for money and delicious to boot, particularly the pissaladiere and the creme caramel. Highly recommended but do book and ask for a table downstairs by the river windows?

As ever, Cotes never fails to disappoint. Food, service and location are all excellent. The staff are friendly, and value for money on there set menu is unbelievable.

The food was very good. The staff were very nice and welcoming but the service could have been sharper. The waitress had to be asked for a spoon for the soup (you can't eat soup with a knife and fork!) and a serving spoon for the vegetables.

Excellent location with fantastic views of the river and Castle. Food and service fantastic. Only negative was all the doors were open so I was quite cold. Other diners sitting next to the window looked comfortable so I didn't want to say anything. Take a jacket with you just in case.

The venue is beautiful but i thought the food was just above average. Shame but i was expecting a little bit more 'french' and it seemed a bit more generic food... staff very friendly but again service was a bit slow. I would say that Value for money, there are better more authenic french restaurants out there.

Excellent food and excellent service. Our table was by the river offering a fabulous view of Windsor. We had a very attentive waitress and our food arrived promptly. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

From the moment we entered the Restaurant to the moment we left we felt as if we were one of the family .The staff were pleasant cheerfully and very professional towards us. The menu was extensive and for the price very good value.The food was well cooked ,hot and well presented.and to finish it off the suggested white wine complimented the meal. Great service and usual Cote standards. Windsor location is very good and easy to find. Doors open you feel like you are on the water.

We were a party of three for lunch and we all found the food excellent and the service efficient and friendly without being intrusive. Shortly after leaving the restaurant we noticed that one of us had left an iPad behind, and when returning we found that the staff had already put the item into their safe awaiting collection. A big Thankyou to staff and management!

Great food and location. The set lunch menu is a must! Ate there two days in a row... Highly recommended for visitors and locals alike.

Waiter didn't take order correctly and was a little reluctant to change it at first but then agreed to change it. The replacement meal was delivered very quickly and very apologetically

Tables too near downstairs , very noisy Staff seemed very rushed two servers only downstairs , took long time to attract attention to pay bill

The service was quite slow despite the restaurant being quite empty after the lunchtime service. We had to send one meal back (the smoked haddock which was very, very dry and inedible). The toilet facilities were very poor. It seemed there were only 2 ladies cubicles and they were unclean. I realise the restaurant had been very busy but the washrooms should be checked regularly. However, the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Good food with good service at a very pleasant venue . The added bonus of being close to windsor coupled with great views of the river and the castle

Brilliant food, the service was awesome. Really nice view. It was a shame that the river side seats were closed due to building work. deffo reccomend it.
