The food was as usual excellent and prepared to perfection. We had a good service from the waiters and the pricelevel is reasonable, so all in all a great experience.

We appreciate that the restaurant was a bit busy, expertly so, given it was Mothering Sunday. But there wasn't enough staff. One poor guy st the door who was also showing guests to their tables, so inevitably a queue formed to get in, come on guys. We waited a full 10 mins to be offered drinks and a menu. Same wait for our starters to be cleared. Saying that, the food was excellent and the waiting staff, polite.

Cote Windsor is in a fantastic location overlooking the Thames and Windsor castle, and we ate outside by the waters edge for lunch. The French Onion soup was great and my partner had the Moules, also very good. My partner had the Half roast chicken which was good but I had the Roast Duck breast which unfortunately was very chewy, so spoiled it really. No time for desserts as service was quite slow on this occasion but they were busy as the sun was out and tourists were a plenty!

We visited Cote in Windsor today for their Mothers' Day Champagne Breakfast and it was absolutely lovely. We had a nice table with a view of the river. We both had the full English breakfast. I had mine with scrambled eggs and they were perfectly cooked - soft and moist, just the way I like them. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. Can't wait to go back.

An enjoyable meal with friends over looking the river. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was satisfactory, the steaks a little chewy. We really like the creme caramel.

It was a difficult day for the staff due to a very busy Mothers Day. People were not willing to vacate their tables. Staff had to put us on a temporary table outdoors and gave us complimentary drinks. We were eventually shown our table (40 minutes later). The staff acted in a very correct manner. Despite the long delay we were delighted with our meal and most of all the polite staff and how they dealt with the problem.

Good menu for breakfast . The "formule" deal of cooked breakfast , fruit juice and tea or coffee all for under £10 is great value . Cote food is consistently good . The windsor branch has great views . If you sit at the front near the river you are behind the bar area and it isn't always easy to catch the eye of the waiter /waitress to get the bill but that's a minor thing. Have always found the staff here to be excellent. They are all friendly and polite . Recommended

not good. the waiters (2) seemed to think it is funny to make fun of their costomers. There was no 'warmth, kindness, welcome' just them making jokes at the customers expence. I live in Windsor, have been there twice since you opened, and won't go again

My wife and I have been going to Cote in Windsor for many years, for breakfast, lunch and pre theatre meals. Always excellent food, friendly and efficient service plus stunning evening views of the river and castle. I also entertain clients on odd occasions as I can be confident that the menu will always have something of appeal. :-)

We visited Cote Windsor for lunch in January. It was very busy and as we had not booked we had to go away and return after half an hour. this time we booked and arrived 10 minutes early. We had to wait and were shown to our table at the specified time. The food and service, as before, were excellent.

Food was excellent as usual, great service, very friendly and helpful - a lovely company. Although we arrived late, they accommodated us with a smile and were very thoughtful. We ordered the meal and unfortunately, got one person's dish mixed up which was immediately rectified with a perfect fish stew, big portion and also not charged on the bill. Absolutely a great experience and as a regular customer, none of this is a surprise. Excellent

The restaurant is in an excellent location on the Thames at Windsor. The food as with all Cote restaurants is excellent. My only comment regarding this restaurant would be that there are plenty of staff but only a few that are waiting staff and they seem rushed off their feet.

Love Cote but unfortunately breakfast today was tasty but cold ... tomato and mushroom taken away by silent waiter and brought back hot - still without a word. I guess everyone is allowed a bad day! We were given a discount when we mentioned this to another member of staff.

Great food, well cooked and flavoursome. Duck confit with cabbage excellent and tender steak cooked how we like it. Attentive service although one component ordered as an afterthought arrived once the starter nearly finished. Free bottle of wine, can't go wrong!

Everything was very pleasant and getting a window table was a plus but the food could have been hotter - hot plates would help. My husband's steak was quite fatty but what he ate was very tasty.

It was our 37th anniversary and we asked for a window seat overlooking the river and that is exactly what we got PLUS two complementary glasses of rose champagne! Wonderful start. The food was extremely good, served and presented very well and the staff could not have been more attentive. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend it to anyone. Well done Cotes.
