Excellent food and service. Requested window table, which was not available upon arrival, however was offered an alternative. Did not take it, but asked to sit outside. This was then not to our liking, as started to rain. Changed tables 3 times, and no problem at all with the staff! They were very patient!!

Lacking in any real atmosphere as such but nice table with great views over river - enjoyable meal. Good place to eat but no reason why it’s so expensive ( needs to be 15-20% cheaper to be good value ) .

Waitress insisted on sharing her personal ‘don’t like pork’ food preferences with us ( as I was ordering the pork !) . Very unprofessional. Particularly expensive meal given the small portions we happened to receive. Limited knowledge of wines ( again it was a personal like vs professional opinion ) . Disappointing - lacking in atmosphere and felt rather ‘unrelaxed ‘ in there that evening - everyone far too serious ...

Pleasant attentive staff made us feel very special on our wedding anniversary.

The food was cooked perfectly, portions ideal, and stayed hot throughout. The crab was very evident in the crab cake starter, and was also excellent value for money. The Covid-19 rules were strictly adhered to, and we both felt safe throughout the visit. It was nice to see that standards had stayed high, even with the pandemic to cope with. We will be returning soon.

lovely location and the perfect table - service was good however I was disappointed with my steak frites which was a bit over cooked and gristly - not up to the usual standard

Formule breakfast at £10.25 each was delicious and excellent value. As always, staff very welcoming and although I’m not a great fan of background music, the mellow jazz playing was very relaxing. Cotes Windsor remains a strong favourite of ours.

Food was good xcellent, service a bit slower than usual, but overall a good evening. Love the fig cocktail!
