Great service, with a great view. Food was good too. Staff made us feel quite special. Will definitely be back in the not too distant future.

A wonderful warm summer evening sat outside by the river. The restaurant was busy as it was Ascot! We had a short wait outside to get in,even though we had booked but once seated the food was delicious (particularly the crab mayonnaise starter with Sourdough bread) & service was very attentive. Lovely relaxed atmosphere...we were the last to leave! :)
This restaurant is in a lovely position overlooking the river. We sat in the conservatory with great river views. Had the 3 course special lunch. Great value for £12.95. Service was very good.
Poor service, took ages to get the food, and went it arrived it was cold and below the expected level. Manager was apologetic and do give us a very good discount which meant we actually did leave happy
The food was really good. I had steak tartare and fish stew which was lovely. Service was great and lovely views of the Thames and Windsor castle.
Reliable standard of food and service as in all Cotes I have been to. The Windsor restaurant is particularly good on a summer's evening because of its stunning setting next to the Thames.
The dinners were all overcooked... My friend had duck breast that the menu specified would be served pink and there was no pink in sight, I asked for a rare steak and it was more on the well done side, another friend had the pork belly which was slightly burnt. I always used to like Cote because the food was good, but this time it just wasn't worth it at all.. I guess they might have had staffing issues due to it being a sunny, warm day so potentially some walk ins that they weren't expecting, but we weren't impressed this time. Which is a real shame.
Lovely venue nice view of Windsor and the Thames Good food Very friendly and helpful staff good service This is the sixth time I have been here Always good

Service was the worst I've had at a cote restaurant. Waiter was quite abrupt and borderline rude. Felt like we were being rushed. Told to pay by card at the entrance which was fine but then told again quite sharply minutes later. Waited at the entrance and ignored by the hostess for a while, not even a 'I'll be with you in a minute'. Told her to take the gratuity off the bill and said how bad the service was. No apology and didn't want to know. Shame
As usual in Cote, the service, quality of food and value for money was excellent - we had the £12.95 three course set menu. However, we do find the Windsor restaurant particularly noisy compared to other branches we have visited with nothing to deaden the sound.
A lovely setting by the river and we managed to get a window seat which was requested on the booking. Food was good and a small wine problem was sorted out entirely to our satisfaction. Would definitely go back
We had a beautiful table by the window, much appreciated by our American relatives as they could see the swans passing by, the weather was hot and the window was open making it very comfortable to sit. The food was lovely and the only thing we would make a slightly negative comment about was that the time between the starter and main was a little long. We understand that this suits many people. But we would have preferred it to have been a little shorter. Overall though we had a thoroughly lovey experience.
Lovely venue, lovely food. Our waitess was very friendly and the service was excellent. Our table by the window provided a perfect spot to enjoy a summers evening.
Great location, friendly and effective staff, good service, great value. Very busy the day we went, so main courses were a bit delayed, I had the chicken which was a bit overdone, but not sufficient to complain about. Will will go back, hopefully next time a 5
Fabulous setting. From my seat I could see The Thames and Windsor Castle. Food great quality. Loved the puddings. Staff friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.
As always, good food and good friendly service! The view is lovely from a window table, and the regular change of menus is always entertaining.
The menu is very nice, a great selection. Prices are reasonable. Service was mostly good, although our starter was served very quickly when we had specifically asked to be allowed to enjoy our glasses of champagne before the food started arriving. The duck main course was delicious, but I was disappointed with the nicoise salad as the tuna was charred and not very tasty. The rest of the salad was delicious. The comped my dessert as a result. The cheese plate was fabulous.
Great view and location, and the food was good. The service wasn't very friendly though and I didn't think they were particularly child friendly. But a nice restaurant and I would go back.
Excellent service and delicious food. My boyfriends steak was initially slightly too well done for him, but they bought him out a new one with no problem. Would definitely recommend it!
Table not ready for 20 minutes, cream spinach was cold Made to sit on a sofa with the arm of sofa in the way when eating
A pretty restaurant in lovely surroundings, great staff who paid just the right amount of attention at their busiest time of day and everyone of my four guests cleaned their plates at each course which says a lot.
Beautiful setting and great table location overlooking river. Lovely lunch and good range of dishes to choose from. Will return to try a few more. Made a difference when staff greeted and said goodbye.
Excellent food and service. Lovely location. Seemed to have run out of a few items which was a shame, but it was a busy day.
Lovely location right on the riverside in Windsor and a short walk from the station. Food was good, as is the case at Cote, and staff were very helpful and friendly. We look forward to returning to Cote Windsor soon.
I booked easily , we had to wait a few minutes while they wiped down the table and we were served very efficiently and I really enjoyed my veal escalope .We didn't wait long for the food and it was nice and hot . This time we didn't wait long for the desserts .
An incredible location overlooking Windsor Castle and beside the Thames. Offering good food at reasonable prices. Staff always very friendly and efficient. One not to be missed.
Nice atmosphere, good food, reasonably priced food and drinks, lovely location. We came here to meet with friends and the restaurant provided everything we needed, attentive service without being in your face.
Look please don't offer me a reward of complimentary drinks and I book the reservation in all good faith. On arrival no one has been made aware of this. If you offer something provide it
Had a great experience, lovely food very attentive staff and reasonably priced , being right on the water wonderful views of all the boats and activity on the Thames highly recommended.
Lovely food great atmosphere. I had the steak that was cooked perfectly. My partner had the chicken that was beautifully cooked. Only shame was that the garlic bread was not available
Great food and setting. Service looks good looking at other waiters as our one was definitely not in a good day. I would have given top grade otherwise.
Good food, good service, good ambience with lovely views of the river. A very romantic setting, depending on where you're sitting. Would certainly visit again
Waitress was at the start very attentive. However by the desert she had didsapeared and this left us finding someone else to take our order.
Excellent food and service. The belly pork was fantastic and you have to try the onion soup the best I've had in years. As for desert the Crem caramel is fantastic
Super location just over the river from Windsor to Eaton, it looks over the river. Plenty of seating with views. The food was super, very reasonably priced and the service was very good.
The staff has been really helpful and kind. Also the has food has been really nice and well prepated. A Michelin should come to the restaurant.
The service was great, lovely restaurant... only issue was the goats cheese pizza type starter was really dry and chewy but everything else was great l
Really good choice of food and very good service. Good to see some monthly specials on the menu. Great location looking over the Thames towards Windsor Castle. Have been here several times and never had cause to complain about anything. Looking forward to our next visit!
Very nice venue with views over the river. Good service. Starter of asparagus was tasty but parts were slightly woody. Rest of our meals were delicious, and the creme caramel is the best you can get anywhere. (i always have it)
Fantastic views over the river and Castle, what a great setting. Excellent service coupled with perfect food. The steak tartare and Creme Caramel in particular were outstanding.
We are regulars here. We love the food. We all ordered the goat cheesecsalad main. It was awful the de Ressing, goat cheese and lettuce were wonderful unfortunately they added peppers, braisef celery, carrots etc. the whole point of the subtlety of the dish was destroyed by adding priduce that don't mix. None of us were able to finish our meals. Very disappointed.
We had three visits to Cote Brasserie in Windsor, one supper and two breakfasts. All the food was delicious and the service excellent. Thank you to all the staff for helping to make our trip so special.
Delicious food, enjoyed by all in the party. Lovely free kir royale (for my birthday). Charming waiter. Never had a bad experience at Cote and this was definitely no exception.
Fantastic service yet again. Perfect place to treat your partner to a meal and to enjoy a special evening. The food once again was superb. Also, the cloudy lemonade is enough reason to go alone. Delicious.
Great early eve nng meu and service. A lovely brasserie with a great view and location. We will definately be going back. Thanks to all the staff for a job well done!
Good food cooked with care and nicely presented. However, the service felt a bit rushed at times. Set in a lovely location in the river.
We booked and were seated by a very busy bar to much noise so we moved outside, unfortunately when the breakfast arrived it was cool
As usual, really delicious food, lovely atmosphere, and great location. Just need bigger bottles of the water....and it would be perfect. It's a regular haunt for us, and we find it very relaxing.
Lovely restaurant, great food and good value especially for the set menu of 3 courses £12.95 - full of choices that change monthly. We will be back!
Excellent service and great food at incredible value. The location set on the edge of the river was beautiful and the back drop of the Castle just added to the ambiance.
