Very poor standard of food, poorly cooked, without any seasoning, completely tasteless. Have eaten there once before at lunch time which was good hence we came back for an evening meal, the restaurant was very busy but this is not an excuse for poor, badly prepared and cooked food. If you cannot maintain a good standard of food above a certain number of covers you must limit the covers to maintain a good standard. We do not intend to return.

Food was good, starter came, butvthen after an hour of waiting for main we prompted the waitress and it arrived, my fish was hot, other 2 mains were just warm. Alison disappointed that when I booked I mentioned it was a friends 50th, most restaurants offer a free glass or pud, they never even acknowledged it! Won't be going again!!

Excellent visit to Cote in Wokingham to celebrate birthdays with 3 friends. We all ate different things and every meal was excellent, service was also great. We will be back.

Excellent in all respects. Service, food and general ambiance. The choice was good, portions were of good size and quality and the staff genuinely were there to give good service.

Excellent service and delicious food. Good amount of time between courses. Attentive staff. I wasn't happy with my main course (menu misunderstanding) and they changed it without batting an eyelid. Could be clearer on what menu options contain gluten/dairy or other allergens but otherwise excellent. Good lively atmosphere too.

Very nice food. Service was good overall. It got a little bit busy towards the end, meaning that we had to wait quite a while to settle the bill.

Service was very good, but the food was poor. The fried calamari was overcooked and bland and the veal was greasy. The fillet steak was tasteless Shame about the food because the restaurant and staff are excellent.

Had set menu. Starters fabulous had langoustine tails and tuna rillettes. Main course of haddock was disappointing because lack of flavour. prefer the sea bream. Desserts of peach crumble and chocolate pot fabulous but could do with more ice cream with crumble. Gorgeous red wine-Cote du Rhone. Delightful waiter-not at all obsequious but polite. Very noisy environment.

Food, service, value for money was good, but the chairs are uncomfortable for anyone under 5'3". Edge of chair cuts into the back of your knees, as I was wearing flat shoes.

I am so disappointed my birthday lunch was ruined by bad service bad steak waiting for drinks and to top it all my best friend pre ordered bubbles to be sent to the table and nobody brought it. So sad ☹️

Our waitress did not seem happy. She did not understand that my husband was joking when he asked why he hadn't got chips like our friend had. We had to wait a long time for our main course. We were given complimentary tea and coffee but the experience was not what we are used to at Cote. Usually very good.

Waiter spilt half a bottle of coke over my sons shirt it wasn't until we got the bill and complained that we got his meal free. Should have been offered before we complained.

Good food, the place became very noisy so much so you could not talk and had to practically shout at each , staff presumed that you would pay the service charge

Good honest food cooked perfectly and some lovely wines all for very reasonable prices. The surroundings are comfortable and relaxed with no clatter but with the buzz of enjoyment.

First time at Cote Brasserie in Wokingham. We enjoyed a tasty and well presented 'formule' breakfast (2 veggie, 1 meat) - setting was lovely, menu choice excellent, service and attentiveness good. Parking was a real issue, especially as a guest with mobility problems, that means careful planning is required. It's a shame as I'd like to experience the lunch and evening menus too. A worthwhile first time experience.

The service was great but cote rewards are far and few inbetween which does not encourage families to come more often to cote to enjoy.

Sat near to the door, which made our table loud. Groups of people would just stand behind you. A manager who kept faffing about and never really achieving anything. Service started off really well but after our starters slipped away very fast. Food portions for main could have been bigger.

Food great but service very slow on all tables.We were in the restaurant for more than 2.5 hours. I suspect it was insufficient kitchen staff - there seemed to be enough serving staff but didn't have much to do. It will not stop us returning but if it happens too often it could be very tedious.

Food was really good, but staff weren't very attentive. We weren't asked if we wanted any additional drinks and waited with empty glasses and plates for 30 minutes before we has to ask for the bill.
