Front of house leaves a lot to be desired. Food was very good but given we had booked, the service was poor unless trying to get you to order more drinks

10 year menu and an August menu And the Normal Menu and the drinks menu Crazy 3 menu system causing mass-confusion just now; silly, unnecessary nonsense!

I have found Côte brasseries are consistent in quality of menus and serving staff. The summer set menu, two or three courses provides excellent choice and value

Great food, friendly staff and fab atmosphere! Also great if you are gluten intolerant as they have a good gluten free menu. Def recommend. 😊

I always have a great meal and good service at this Cote. Flavoursome well cooked food and good prices too. Cannot be faulted to deliver a lovely meal

The food and service was very good. The layout of the tables could be a bit more imaginative. It's so obviously a building that had a previous use that's not transitioned very well.

Had the early evening menu which is excellent value. Food was very good. They charge 12.5% service but the service was spot on. Highly recommended.

The resturant has a lovely decor, the service was attentive but not intrusive and the food was delicious. This was a 6/6 dining experience, excellent.

We enjoy this restaurant and are quite frequent visitors when we are at home in wokingham, the staff are attentive and the service quick, the food is always well presented and the lunch early evening menu just right for our tastes with a good selection with the menu changing on a regular basis. Friendly staff, the fixed priced cooked breakfast menu is great value as it includes 2 drinks and the food was really good. Good selection of breakfasts to choose from. It does get busy so would advise booking.

A very jolly evening with friends. Excellent service provided by friendly efficient staff who were attentive without being overpowering. Food was delicious, well presented and the right quantity.

As always, Cote Brasserie never fails to deliver. A great restaurant always busy but with enough space to make you feel it is just you. My wife and I had a lovely meal with fine wine and the food was of superb quality. Our Hungarian waitress was so pleasant it helped make the evening. I cannot fault this restaurant. First class.

Cote brasserie in Wokingham is situated in the High Street of this attractive town and maintains the high level of service and food we have come to expect from Cote.

Unusual for us to have a proper breakfast but we were tempted by Cote. Very pleasant and efficient staff and absolutely delicious food. The French version of 'the full english' was excellent and my husband's Eggs Royale got his approval.

Service was great and so was the food, as it always is. The staff did start to linger around the tables of the last remaining guests towards the end of the evening, felt like a prompt to leave. Also, the 12.5% tip on the bill for 3 people isn't necessary even if it is optional. For 6 people or more fine but not for less.

Generally excellent meal although the salads and green garnishes were a bit a bit tired and unappetising. The set menu is varied and good value.

Lovely atmosphere to this restaurant and I normally really enjoy it but this time there was food on the floor left from a previous diner, and I found my steak chewy. On the plus side, my companion really enjoyed her charcuterie board and our house wine was delicious. The waiting staff were polite and charming as always.The door to the disabled toilet which was facing me was closed today and was not used by restaurant staff thank goodness because that has put me off on the last 2 occasions.

Lovely meal and great service! We had the prawns and calamari. Then I had the duck and hubby had steak. Really delicious. Would fully recommend

Up to the usual Côte standard; impressive premises, great welcome, first class service and of course, wonderful food. The tomato salad for one would have fed a family of four.

Service not as good as usual - seemed to be waiter changeover time. Food good except for veal escalope which was quite greasy, and the jus was too sweet..

it was unexpected and a pleasant surprise to find that Cote did a vegetarian menu. my vegetarian friends were delighted, food and service consistently good.

The food was lovely once again. The restaurant was very busy on a Sunday lunchtime, and rather noisy, but this did not spoil the overall experience for us.

Veal was bland and had a poor texture. Restaurant was able to give us a quieter table but is was still very noisy and we struggled to have a relaxed conversation as we had to asked each other to repeat what we said all the time.

Good service and delicious food as always. A go to place for breakfast, lunch or dinner in Wokingham with family and friends. Can highly recommend

Steak was over done; it went back and they threw a bottle of wine over the floor but otherwise good. Usual refund sorted out but mediocre experience.

Lovely food. Not flexible with menu choices which wasn't great. Loud environment very busy and didn't have a relaxing feeling in there sadly. You must book as gets so busy.

we waited15 mins and when we still hadn't been offered a drink we walked out and ate elsewhere. Very disappointing and not the level of service we normally receive here.

Very happy with wokinghan Côte - have visited Guildford, London, Brighton, Marlowe, Reading, Newbury by far is the best. Wish there was a Côte all over the world 😃

Excellent service, good food and ambiance. It is my preferred restaurant in Wokingham. Never had a bad meal. Breakfast good also. I Always take visitors to Cote almost Paris!

Staff were great, but don't like complaining. Steak was way over cooked and my wife's meal was dry! V poor food. Just a little dissapointed

Really lovely meal - friendly, relaxed service. Crab mayonnaise starter is a must. Good well priced wine list and not rushed out. Will be back.

The welcome was good, and we got just the table that we requested. The food was also great; I tried the haddock fillet with bacon and lentils and that was excellent.

Breakfast at 10.30 on Sunday Waited 45 minutes for our table of 4 to be served & get our food. 20 mins after we arrived another table was seated and their food managed to come out 5 mins before ours. It was busy but they only had to cook eggs & bacon!!! Funny thing was we only went there as we received a voucher having had to wait 45 minutes for food last time we visited & that time it wasn't even busy. Will go to Cafe Rouge or Bills in future

We arrived very early and were accommodated straight away. Our visit was on a Saturday evening peak time but the staff did not rush us and we had a delightful meal. All good *****

So busy and not enough staff, usually great but two hours for one course is crazy. Still included service charge too. Will try again as food lovely.

Good service and excellent quality food . One point to mention , waitress was unaware of offer . Maybe waiting staff should be made more aware of content of offers running . Also surely if booking through website offer it should be flagged up on your system so not necessary for customers to search for confirmation on there phones .

Always a great place to go for an evening out. Delish steak and chips followed by a to die for chocolate fondant!! Oh and the waitress was lovely too!

Reasonable food but the salad leaves were totally dried up, looked awful on the plate! Olives graunched up but sour dough bread OK. Not their usual standard, do n't know if we will return. We have eaten there about 10 times incl. tonight.

Great food, very good service and great atmosphere. Very polite and pleasant staff who look after you and help with wine/food suggestions. Highly recommend, great place for a special occasion or just meeting friends.
