The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. My husband said the creme brûlée was as good as the ones he has in top class restaurants in France.

The service was incredibly fast and the staff were all very attentive and polite. The complimentary water in a stone bottle was a lovely extra too. The food was delicious!

Excellent food and service. Much better than Bill's breakfast. My poached eggs were cooked to perfection and everything else was superb. Cafetiere coffee and toast also sublime.

The staff are always very attentive and polite without being constantly at your table. Always a good atmosphere. The food was lovely, the Breton fish stew was fantastic.

I ordered mules which were on menu... Had already had drinks servrd to be told no mules..then our main came before our starter Would not come again

We had a very nice table, preordered drinks arrived straight away. Nice staff, good food and wine. All good. Knew before we arrived what to expect and were not disappointed.

We had a lovely meal from the set menu. The salmon terrine starter was a bit small but the main course chargrilled chicken was lovely & my friend enjoyed her frozen berries desert. We will be back.

My wife and I enjoyed our time here with Friendly staff,lovely setting and food was very tasty. We will definitely go back for another visit.

The food and the service was spectacular! Highly recommend. Recommend the fillet steak especially! Very cosy style and staff are nice, friendly and efficent! Brilliant!

Lovely set lunch at great value,only downside is most of the mains come on their own so you have to add vegetables and potatoes which defeats the object of the cost..makes it nearly double the price to add both. Manager didn’t seem like she wanted to be there.

We went to dinner at Cote Brasserie after Evensong at the Cathedral (so beautiful!). I had 2 of the Feb specials, a heavenly chicken wrapped in bacon and a side dish of Jerusalem artichokes au gratin. My husband had an early dinner combo which he loved too and it was a great price. It was such a wonderful meal and the staff so welcoming that we went again the next night - heavenly grilled salmon. The baguette is the best we've found outside France.

A fairly busy evening our table not set when arrived, left with menus & no drinks offered for 10 minutes . Only rectified when food order taken , we then had to ask for drinks !

Came here with friend on Saturday night and had starters, steak and monkfish mains - couldn’t manage desert! Great service, friendly warm atmosphere, great food and good prices. Always good here.

Another great meal at Cote. As usual really good quality at a reasonable price. The haddock was fabulous and the Creme Brulee was excellent. They never let us down.

Very attentive staff with lovely surroundings, never hurried even on this very busy night. This was our 3rd Cote restaurant and always a pleasure to visit.

As usual we enjoyed eating at Cotes , we did however find the service a bit slow and we were offered wine which we hadn't ordered and food as well. The egg benedict was delicious as were the other starters. My main of chicken was a bit over cooked. All three desserts were delicious.

Very pleasant. No waiting for a table. The meal was enjoyable. The staff were very helpful. There was a party of 21 in but the noise was not excessive.

Moules & frites tonight. Too delicious and very evocative of glorious beachside restaurants in the South of France. Sauce was terrific so had to order more bread to get to the bottom of it

Service & food good although we were put on a relatively small table when there were larger ones available therfore we were running out of space in the centre of the table

We had a lovely evening, staff exceptionally friendly and attentive. The restaurant is well laid out and lighting is just about right. I had Monk fish for my main meal and I have to say it was perfect, it was from the specials menu so might not be available all the time. Overall the experience was very, very good.

Very nice waiter on arrival said I was on the rewards scheme would I like the merlot or Chardonnay went for Chardonnay but didn’t realise when we paid the bill that they charged me for the wine as the total food came to £57.35 and the bill was £89 should I inform the restaurant

Great service, as always. Lovely food, even on the Specials menu. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. The wine list is extensive and excellent.

Always enjoy Cote. This restaurant is very conviently located. Good memu choice, pleasant service, nice food. Pleadant ambiance- a buzz but not on top of fello dinets. Good value.
