Soup starter arrived Luke warm and main course took an hour and a half to arrive. Very slow service. Not what I expect from Cote.
We had the best time, the staff we’re so lovely, the food fab, its becoming our best place to go. Love the monthly offers of cocktails .
good value and great food, it was a very busy evening with the festival going on but the staff all were well humoured and helpful.
Slow service. Had to ask after 15 minutes to place my order having already been asked if I was going to the theatre. Small portion of monkfish for the price. Tiger prawn salad delicious but very garlicky.
Great food. Brought in good time. Lovely service by a helpful and happy waitress.
Disappointing crammed in and felt like macdonalds service churning out steak and chips not restaurant experience was hoping on special ocassion.
Best breakfast 🍳. The waiter did forget us after our order. The manager could not have done enough to apologies . We certainly be back .
Excellent food. Loved the March special aperitif. Service good, but think may have been ‘ change over period’ as had to ask for extra water twice.
Great service and beautiful food as always. Looking forward to visiting again.
Always a delight to have lunch at Cote, catching up with friends. Such good value and always delicious food
Waited ages for a waiter/waitress. I had to look around and wave for their attention On ordering the drinks I waited ages and again had to get the attention if the waiter to bring the drinks I ordered the moule and it was over cooked, chewy and was more like a starter portion. Should not be served as a main I generally enjoy Cote but on this occasion I had a dreadful experience
Food average, speed of service terrible, had to cancel dessert order as took too long. Cote need more staff at peak times to cater for trade.

We had a lovely lunch in Brighton Côte - delicious food and wine and our waitress Zoe was fantastic - very attentive and efficient and so friendly and kind. Thank you Zoe and thank you Côte! All sections are 5 Star!
Excellent, Service 1st Class, Value For Money Superb, Would Certainly recommend without any hesitation, Lunchtime menu everything you could ask for. Will without doubt return very soon.
Didn’t eat for over an hour. The food had apparently gone off in the fridge. We waited along time and when it finally came wasn’t bad. Ordered poached eggs, Closer to hard boiled. Table next to us complained and got a free breakfast. We didn’t. I don’t like to complain except for now haha.
We had a fantastic evening , food was , nice atmosphere, amazing, wine was very good, service was excellent ,we really enjoyed , I highly recommend côte brasserie
The most friendly and efficient staff, worthy of a Michelin starred restaurant. Always on point, cheerful and attentive. How they get this so right is amazing. Food is reliable, varied and well cooked. Always busy and buzzy. One of my Brighton favourites!
Great food, served in good time by attentive and friendly staff.
We always enjoy meals at Cote Brasserie Brighton as they are consistently excellent, good value and reasonably priced. We have always found the staff helpful, friendly and efficient.
Great and reliable as always. Could not supply requested table but didmtheir very best to find an acceptable alternative. Service and food excellent as usual. It’s the reliability that keeps us coming back.
A thoroughly enjoyable meal at Côte. French onion soup was tasty and delicious, the pork tenderloin was cooked to perfection and I was so full couldn’t manage a dessert. Service was good and will return.
The food was excellent with one exception;the haddock was overcooked. Service was slow but the I think the food was slow coming from the kitchen. It was very busy in the restaurant.
Great food as always, never disappointed with Côte and that’s why we usually book in every time we have a day out in Brighton!
We always find Cote very consistent and good quality. We like the surroundings and ambience of the restaurants and the service is attentive. It is good "value for money" food wise. My only negative is that I find the prices for the drinks a little on the high side.
Very good venue and excellent service. Food was rather average and only as good as pub chains. Would think twice about returning especially given the competition in that area of Brighton.
Another lovely evening at Cote Brighton, you’ve got it right! A great atmosphere in one of the best historic buildings in Brighton The old Music Library
Lovely atmosphere friendly staff and good food.seated promptly by friendly staff, order taken in good time, staff very helpful food came quickly very tasty, nothing to fault.
Great ambience, cocktail , food and service, Cote is always a winner
Lovely food, atmosphere and staff. Cote is our family favourite
Both great waitresses. Accommodating, efficient and kind to let us order til 7pm menu at 7pm. I had phoned to say we’d be late. Great food, wine and value
Food of good standard but not enough of it.poor selection of beers . Ridiculously priced three bottles equalling a pint that would set you back £12.00. We are in South of England not France. Apart nice venue.
Food was excellent on this occasion, pork belly has always been a good choice
Cote Brighton is a grear place to have a meal before going to Theatre Royal. A very nice experience from the minute you entered the restaurant. A lovely welcome from the staff and very friendly and efficient service throughout the meal. Delicious food and wine.
As always you can rely on good service and excellent food. Ideal for special occasions or anytime. We know that we will never be disappointed when we eat at a Cote. Considering the number of diners, you always feel you are getting personal service.
Great service, excellent food and good atmosphere. And very good value for money. One of the best, if not The Best restaurants in Brighton. Love it
Out if this world!! Love the staff especially front of house girl, such a lovely place!
Food was good and the service was very good, charming waiter looked after us.
Always consistently Good food, value for money, professional &?friendly staff & very good service. Every time! Can be noisy at busy times but if you choose your table wisely this isn’t a problem.
Perfectly nice meal and attentive staff. Quite expensive for what you get portion wise, but overall was a pleasant meal. We were early so it was quite quiet
Excellent lunch from the a la Carte menu. The special lunch menu is not as appealing as it used to be - since the prestige menu was introduced. Staff at Brighton are always friendly as well as being professional. As a regular customer I am always welcomed which is nice.
Unfortunately our food was not as hot as we would have liked on this occasion. It arrived shortly after we had ordered and I suspect as it was on the Specials menu that the chef had pre prepared some in advance. There was also a delay in our food being ready and actually arriving at the table as our server was otherwise engaged. It was not up to usual high standards as food is usually piping hot.
Staff are very friendly & polite service is excellent food is always excellent have been several times atmosphere is always calm & relaxing would highly recommend
Excellent! Always efficient service and delicious food beautifully presented! Great selection of wines. Set menu never disappoints! Consistent as usual and friendly staff, always attentive. Will return!
We had an absolutely lovely time the staff were friendly and attentive. We also noticed 2 different members of staff being really patient helping a very elderly frail gentleman up out of seat. I had the fish stew which I enjoyed but I do feel I should let you know just in case I was violently ill at 4am this morning and haven’t been able to keep water down since. I feel it may have something to do with the shellfish ?i have had food poisoning once before and pretty exact experience. I don’t wish for any compensation but thought it was worth mentioning. Hayley
To try something new I decided to opt for sea bass and it turned out to be a mistake. When the meal was served I was met by an intense aroma of smelly fish. Upon eating the meal I had the occasional taste of not so fresh fish so did not enjoy at all. I presume it must gave been the chef using strong fish stock in the sauce so did not make any comment. Whatever it was I could not finish the meal, I just needed the smelly plate taken away. Not for me at all.
Food was delicious. Service was a little flow but we didn’t mind as were chatting and we were not rushed
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary.Shown to our table promptly our cocktails arrived we were feft to choose from the menu not rushed, the food arrived which was delicious and the service amazing .

A genuine welcome followed by thoughtful service and delicious food, with vegetarians being particularly well catered for. Happily one of my better life choices made that day!
It was brilliant. Smoked salmon and onion soup delicious The lamb rump with mediterranean vegetables was truly amazing The complimentary cocktails yummy The chardonnay was excellent Atmosphere great as always.
