Excellent service coupled with wonderful food. Will definitely be coming back again.

We love Cote and are very pleased you are now open. We sat outside as the weather was lovely but it was very hot with seagulls hovering over us. You do need to invest in umbrellas as most other restaurants with outdoor space do. Very necessary by the sea. We could have moved mid meal but chose not too. Please provide umbrellas. Thank you Patricia.

Great set of staff who work hard to make you feel comfortable in the current environment and always, always produce super food at a reasonable price for the quality. Cote never disappoints.

Lovely staff very friendly and helpful . Shame not many vegetarian dishes . We had the risotto which was fabulous. We don’t like strong goats cheese, so could not have this, and these where the only vegetarian dishes on the menu . The back garden was a real sun trap .

The ambiance was good, service EXCELLENT and friendly - special mention to the French lad who served us (Alexis?). We shall return.

Very very nice to be able to have a meal at Cote now the coronavirus restrictions are reduced. The lovely staff managed to convey their usual friendly manner even with their visors in place.

Glad you are back. Friendly warm welcome, procedures explained, waiter helpful. Only thing that could’ve been better Is staff using ‘hello my name is.....’ which is what we go in NHS as creates Warner experience. Keep doing what you are doing?

So glad that the Brighton Cote has re-opened. My friend and I had a lovely meal as usual, served by one of their friendly and helpful waitresses. We will be back soon.

Unfortunately our food was not as hot as we would have liked on this occasion. It arrived shortly after we had ordered and I suspect as it was on the Specials menu that the chef had pre prepared some in advance. There was also a delay in our food being ready and actually arriving at the table as our server was otherwise engaged. It was not up to usual high standards as food is usually piping hot.

Lovely Mother’s Day meal with all my favourite dishes including calamari, monkfish and finishing off with the most delicious Creme Caramel, washed down by a bottle of piquepoul - thank you

We had an absolutely lovely time the staff were friendly and attentive. We also noticed 2 different members of staff being really patient helping a very elderly frail gentleman up out of seat. I had the fish stew which I enjoyed but I do feel I should let you know just in case I was violently ill at 4am this morning and haven’t been able to keep water down since. I feel it may have something to do with the shellfish ?i have had food poisoning once before and pretty exact experience. I don’t wish for any compensation but thought it was worth mentioning. The welcome staff were very good and made us feel welcome. The starters were very good, both mains were cold and the service was very bad. Could never get any staffs attention as they were too interested in serving the larger parties. First time I have ever asked not to pay the service charge. This was a meal for a special occasion and was seriously let down.

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and wine, excellent service from cheerful and attentive staff in well laid out surroundings. Only draw back for us ........ no draught beer! Would still return.

My party enjoyed a lovely meal well presented by a friendly waitress. Our only small criticism was that another group were brought to sit right next to us in an otherwise empty upper floor !

We had a great time at Cote last night. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. We arrived at 8.00pm having booked a table for three people. Although the restaurant was very busy we were quickly shown to our table and given menus. We ordered flatbreads to share whilst we ordered our starters and main courses. We were very happy with our choice of food. I had the onion soup as a starter and my wife and friend shared the smoked salmon dish. Both tasted delicious. Our friend ordered the sea bass as her main course and my wife and I had the fish parmentier. These were again very tasty. We finished off the meal with two creme caramels. Throughout our meal the staff were very attentive. We were given just the right amount of time between the courses to make the evening relaxed and not rushed. We were given a free bottle of wine as I had previously opted to join their email list. I think there are quite a few good offers available online and in local publications if you look out for them. A friend of mine often enjoys the pre-theatre menu. We had a really good time. We don’t often eat in ‘chain’ restaurants but Cote is definitely our favourite. We will return.

Had a very nice meal always consistently good food on every visit . Staff pleasant and friendly. Hen and Stag clients can negatively affect the atmosphere when to boisterous.

Excellent meal as always at Cote and all our party enjoyed the day. Highly recommended. The service is always very good and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Good service and considerate but let down by food not being cooked properly. One steak was under cooked and another was over cooked. When replacement arrived it was even more under cooked than the first one. In the end we cancelled the order which was disappointing.

We had the set menu which is excellent value and really delicious. You do need to order before 7.00 but it’s worth it. I have always had a nice meal at Côte and it’s really reliable.

Visited mid afternoon on a Saturday. Reasonably busy. Food was good but service was slow. Waiter also had to be reminded to bring our water and kept on giving the wrong food to the wrong person.

The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Each course arrived quickly so we did not have to wait at any time. The whole experience was brilliant as always.

Excellent lunch from the a la Carte menu. The special lunch menu is not as appealing as it used to be - since the prestige menu was introduced. Staff at Brighton are always friendly as well as being professional. As a regular customer I am always welcomed which is nice.

You can never go wrong when you to Cote. Lovely meal for my husband's birthday for 7 people. As always the staff were friendly and helpful. One of our favourite restaurants.

our waiter Danny was professional, efficient and friendly. I requested a table near the window and that wish was granted Food delicious as always I had the pan fried salmon and the crème caramel . Both good although I would have liked a few more potatoes with the salmon

This was our first time there, we went as a couple and were very pleased with the whole experience. The team were very helpful and professional, Can’t think of a negative would highly recommend.

A very good restaurant to celebrate a special meal. Have used many times. Recommend to book well in advance of occasion, can be very busy at any time. Wide choice menu to suit most tastes.
