Wonderful service, beautiful food. We had a lovely meal at Cote today, as always.
Great food. Brought in good time. Lovely service by a helpful and happy waitress.
We went early on a Saturday evening (5.30). Even so early, the atmosphere was great. The food was good valuecand tasty. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly.
Cote is brilliant - always very friendly, helpful and attentive service. And the food is superb; a real wide range of various meals on the menus, not too fancy and not too simple either. It's all just right! A great experience at a fabulous restaurant, with excellent value for money.
Best breakfast 🍳. The waiter did forget us after our order. The manager could not have done enough to apologies . We certainly be back .
Went for lunch on a Sunday at 1pm Was quiet on arrival so service was very prompt, had Pork belly that was cooked to perfection, waiter recommended special dessert which was delicious. Even when it got busier was just a nice relaxed & happy atmosphere
GOOD SERVICE NICE FOOD PLEASANT ATMOSPHERE NICE LOCATION WHICH CONTRIBUTED TO A MEMORABLE EVENING FOR ME AND MY FAMILY AND WE WOULD DEFINATELY MAKE A RETURN VISIT ONE DAY. THANKYOU.
Great service and beautiful food as always. Looking forward to visiting again.
Waited ages for a waiter/waitress. I had to look around and wave for their attention On ordering the drinks I waited ages and again had to get the attention if the waiter to bring the drinks I ordered the moule and it was over cooked, chewy and was more like a starter portion. Should not be served as a main I generally enjoy Cote but on this occasion I had a dreadful experience
Excellent, Service 1st Class, Value For Money Superb, Would Certainly recommend without any hesitation, Lunchtime menu everything you could ask for. Will without doubt return very soon.
Very good food and excellent professional service, a very nice experience .
A very pleasant pre-theatre meal with a friend. Nice fast efficient service as they knew we didn’t have long
Waitress was friendly and helpful. However, only one member of staff serving entire upstairs. Food was good. Restaurant was chilly! Had it been 2 or 3 degrees warmer I would have given more stars.
The most friendly and efficient staff, worthy of a Michelin starred restaurant. Always on point, cheerful and attentive. How they get this so right is amazing. Food is reliable, varied and well cooked. Always busy and buzzy. One of my Brighton favourites!
Wonderful meal and excellent service, rib eye steak was superb. Always happy to eat here and the booking system is very straight forward. Highly recommend. Ideal for Dome and TR pre show meals.
Great and reliable as always. Could not supply requested table but didmtheir very best to find an acceptable alternative. Service and food excellent as usual. It’s the reliability that keeps us coming back.
Excellent service, good food. Enjoyed the complimentary gin and tonics. As always very enjoyable experience. Always recommend Cote to my friends and family. Looking forward to going again.
Had a lovely evening at Cote Brighton. Staff We're very friendly, good food and excellent service. Would highly recomend. Good location if you are going to The Dome after.
Amazing Birthday celebrations, staff so welcoming, food was delicious, service outstanding and just a great atmosphere at the Brighton Cote. Can’t wait to come again!
The food was excellent with one exception;the haddock was overcooked. Service was slow but the I think the food was slow coming from the kitchen. It was very busy in the restaurant.
Friendly and efficient staff, good food at good prices. We had the breakfasts and they were excellent.
Lovely service from Portuguese waiter Nou Nou. He does his job so well. We enjoyed his company and attention to detail My starter the charcuterie platter was very generous and the prawn gratinee unctuous and delicious The beef bourgignon is divine. The creme caramel is a dessert triumph.
Shame to be with s load of drunk 50year olds singing football songs. Would have been Much better to keep the drunks together and let the rest of us enjoy our evening. We were there early so surprised by how meany drunk groups there. ☹️
I was disappointed with my meal in here last night.
Cote is our favourite restaurant and it never disappoints. I cannot think how they could make it any better.
Excellent food.Took 25 min to take order - restaurant quiet - waited just for drink. Ordered veg - got chips! Nice evening -service needs polishing!
Usual high standards and good attentiveness to customer requirements whether ordering, topping up drinks or getting bill. Several items unavailable unfortunately. Sea Bass a little dry but sauce helped. Ambiance exceptionally echoey with difficulty hearing conversations but have dined here several times and accept this feature. .
Another lovely evening at Cote Brighton, you’ve got it right! A great atmosphere in one of the best historic buildings in Brighton The old Music Library
Fabulous food and service as usual. Had the complimentary blood orange martinis, my mum wasn’t keen on this drink, the manager said try a sip and if you don’t like have a kit royal instead. This extra mile of service was much appreciated. Well done and thank you.
Poor menu choices for starters and nibbles. Service slow and gin menu very limited.
Great ambience, cocktail , food and service, Cote is always a winner
Friendly and officiant staff. The food was really delicious and there was plenty of it. Certainly good value for money. We were welcomed and spoken to by many of the staff in a very friendly way. No complaints!
Both great waitresses. Accommodating, efficient and kind to let us order til 7pm menu at 7pm. I had phoned to say we’d be late. Great food, wine and value
Food of good standard but not enough of it.poor selection of beers . Ridiculously priced three bottles equalling a pint that would set you back £12.00. We are in South of England not France. Apart nice venue.

Food was excellent on this occasion, pork belly has always been a good choice
Whenever I ask my little girl where she would like to go do a fancy dinner? The answer would always be Cote Brasserie.
We had a wonderful meal, great service, even though it was very busy the staff kept returning to our table to check on us. Food lovely and fresh as always. Thank you.
We where late arriving but called ahead to let them know, they seemed surprised that we would think to do that , so very pleased. Service was excellent even though they where rushed off their feet. Food excellent as always. I was there with three Côte virgins! they loved it. We had their early evening( lunch to 7pm) menu two set prices such good value and makes choosing much easier. Would highly recommend this branch, especially if you’re visiting the dome theatre it’s opposite.
We had booked as it would be busy. We both had a very good three course meal from different menus. The food was great as well as the atmpshoer and the staff were attentive and helpful.
Cote Brighton is a grear place to have a meal before going to Theatre Royal. A very nice experience from the minute you entered the restaurant. A lovely welcome from the staff and very friendly and efficient service throughout the meal. Delicious food and wine.
Great service in a great restaurant!! Food and service lovely as always!
Lovely food and service as always, never fault it. Always recommend.
Always reliable & good - the Calamari is probably the best you’ll get anywhere in the world!

The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Each course arrived quickly so we did not have to wait at any time. The whole experience was brilliant as always.
Excellent lunch from the a la Carte menu. The special lunch menu is not as appealing as it used to be - since the prestige menu was introduced. Staff at Brighton are always friendly as well as being professional. As a regular customer I am always welcomed which is nice.
You can never go wrong when you to Cote. Lovely meal for my husband's birthday for 7 people. As always the staff were friendly and helpful. One of our favourite restaurants.
A genuine welcome followed by thoughtful service and delicious food, with vegetarians being particularly well catered for. Happily one of my better life choices made that day!
Welcomed at the door and given a table upstairs as we requested. Our server was attentive and personable and we ordered glasses of Sancerre and starters. The wine was as lovely as ever and the first course delicious as usual. From then on it went bizarrely downhill. We usually order the Lagarde Pinot Noir with the fish course. A couple of glasses arrived with opaque red wine which had no resemblance in look, texture or taste to the wine we had ordered countless times before in Cote restaurants around the country for the last ten plus years. We were offered a Merlot instead but that seemed to be the same wine as before. To add insult to injury my fish was severely over-cooked. The fish was swiftly replaced and we went back to the Sancerre....bemused!! So, Richard and Nick, what the Grenache is going on?? Good food but a 400% mark-up on the wines means the experience is diminished overall. Carlucchios much better value for money as wine is not a rip-off.
