If I have commented on anything, and it was just a comment, whatever it was, was resolved immediately, with a smile and without any fuss. That's the way they do things! The food is ALWAYS excellent, the staff are ALWAYS excellent and the price is ALWAYS realistic. Cote, is the ONLY restaurant in Brighton which I would heartily recommend without worrying, they may have an "off night"...they never have and I doubt they ever will.

Great service, great food, great price all around great time. Had an amazing lunch for our Mother’s Day celebrations would definitely recommend going her to anyone!!

A lovely evening again at Cote Brighton everything excellent before a fabulous concert at The a Dome with Joan Baez. Great Rib eye and timings perfect. You’ve got it right guys.

Our table was a little cramped we were upstairs. Fortunately the people either side were very nice We both enjoyed our dinner quick and excellent service nice and friendly staff

Great service, good value, food generally very good but today my chicken was very dry. We will be back, menu has changed which is good as it had stayed the same for a while.

It has become a tradition every Saturday breakfast at Cote Brighton extremely good value! The staff are all friendly and efficient making you feel special. The food quality never varies thank you to all the kitchen staff we never see 😍

Service slow, food not up to the usual standard, luke warm calamari and side orders. Chicken good though. Saving grace was the positive way our comments were dealt with.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Only negative was waiter took my glass away before I had finished (I do drink slowly and sip) and was too embarrassed to say I hadn't finished.

Tuesday lunch time in Brighton - warm welcome efficient and attentive service

The menu always has something delicious no matter how many times I visit. I have been visiting for years with a wide range of friends and relations. The staff let me sit and talk and never push to get rid of me...though when very busy I try not to take advantage. All the staff are lovely and seem to work well as a team. Great atmosphere!

The most friendly and efficient staff, worthy of a Michelin starred restaurant. Always on point, cheerful and attentive. How they get this so right is amazing. Food is reliable, varied and well cooked. Always busy and buzzy. One of my Brighton favourites!

Staff very friendly and food excellent. Bizarrely, the only slight mark down I would give is that the food comes out too quickly which makes the whole enjoyment of sitting down for a leisurely meal end too soon. We were not rushed by the staff or made to feel rushed......but it was all over in an hour.

Majority of our meals were very good but the chicken was dry needed a sauce, the beans were hard pity as we usually have no complaints. I have booked again for the 14th same friends let's hope meals are back to the usual level - excellent.

Starter arrived before our drinks! Dried up chicken with green beans that had attempted to be hidden under the chicken. They looked like they’d been cooking for ever as were brown and hadn’t even been top and tailed. To be fair, I complained and was brought some fresh ones. Bad choice of restaurant. I have been to other Cote restaurants and they were much better. It was very busy but no excuse for serving second rate food!

Service - attentive but not intrusive, and always friendly. Food - reliably excellent as usual. Atmosphere - nice and 'buzzy' for a weekday evening. Another great meal!

Food was great. Some confusion over which menu we could choose from as after 7pm. Sign outside said certain menu till closing, told same on seating, and then differently from waiter. Pointed out that outside board & seating person told us menu was available. Resolved but “wrong” menu board was still outside on departure.

One of our group had to send her chicken back as it was raw in the middle. This was replaced with another meal which was satisfactory but it shouldn't have happened. While the pate and charcuterie was excellent, the sardine starter proved extremely small. However, the service was excellent.

Lovely lunch, although a bit on the small side. Could have done with a green vegetable such as peas or brocolli added to the dish, but very tasty

Arrived before 18.00 we were told we would be eating upstairs, as I have severe arthritis in the knees I told her I would unable to she said their was nothing ground floor and I should have stated that. I have been to Côte before on numerous occasions and have never asked to go upstairs or it to be open upstairs so we went to Carluccios and had a superb meal.

We really enjoyed the meal. The food was delicious and the service and atmosphere in the restaurant was great.

From the moment we entered we were well looked after. The gent who greeted us was welcoming and chatty and offered a selection of tables. All the staff we interacted with were pleasant and attentive. The food was consistently good, as always. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

The food was excellent with one exception;the haddock was overcooked. Service was slow but the I think the food was slow coming from the kitchen. It was very busy in the restaurant.

Very good venue and excellent service. Food was rather average and only as good as pub chains. Would think twice about returning especially given the competition in that area of Brighton.

We are new to Brighton and have added Cote Brassiere to our list of regular favorites that we enjoy going to for great lunches. The food is very good, the service is friendly and responsive, and the atmosphere is one of a busy, but easygoing, relaxed cafe.

I love Cote ! It’s one of my favourite places to go in Brighton.... it’s great value for money and the staff are always attentive lovely and friendly the food is great too .... I’ve been to the Cote’s in Horsham and Chichester but Brighton beats them hands down every time. I’m also glad that the staff get all there tips

Really good night. Have been coming here for years with consistent high level of service so seemed like an obvious choice for my 50th. This remains our “go to” restaurant and staff were very helpful and attentive Highly recommended !!

Was not notified only the set menu would be available, extremely disappointing. Arrived expecting a large selection of food but had only a very limited choice.

As always you can rely on good service and excellent food. Ideal for special occasions or anytime. We know that we will never be disappointed when we eat at a Cote. Considering the number of diners, you always feel you are getting personal service.

Your service is second to none. The value for money is exceptionally good and the best French food you can get this side of the Channel. The wine was delicious and complimented our meal very well. Thanks for everything and for making our evening so fun and enjoyable. Merci beaucoup!!!

Lovely food, excellent staff and service. Great for pre theatre meal. Will certainly go again. We were seated upstairs and this was quieter more relaxed atmosphere.

Good food. Poor service. We didn’t get our complimentary cocktail, nor the olives we ordered. We had to ask for the table to be cleared. We were sitting next to a dirty serving area. Worst Côte experience to date.

Always enjoy eat here, people are always so welcoming and friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely mother day. We definitely be back great restaurant.

An elderly lady friend and neighbour, we had booked to see Russell Watson who she follows everywhere, a little bit besotted, and when she phoned today most of the conversation was about how much she enjoyed her meal and was so impressed by our very friendly waiter who accompanied her to the ladies room and bought her back safely, for myself the meal was definitely 5 star, I already was aware of that as Im a frequent diner but usually someone else had booked. WELL DONE

Great staff , wonderful service , brilliant food . As far as I am concerned it is one of the most relaxing restaurants I have ever been in and along with the above what else can I say . Worth every star .

This was our first time there, we went as a couple and were very pleased with the whole experience. The team were very helpful and professional, Can’t think of a negative would highly recommend.

Cote is always reliable, but a visit to the Brighton one was exceptional. The waiting team were so good to us, changing our table once we’d sat down most cheerfully although we know it must have been a pain, they served us brilliantly, the food was top drawer and excellent value for money, but what moves me to write this was the care they showed to a couple on the next table on a first date. You could pay a lot more for a lot less, and miss out on a lovely experience

Another great pre show meal. Excellent service from the moment we arrived. GF brilliantly catered for without any feeling of compromise. Food arrived in good time and was delicious!

We always have a lovely experience dining at Cote Brighton. The setting and decor is very unique. The Staff are always very helpful and make us feel very special. The food is fabulous and we are slowly working our way through the menu. Always recommended to friends.
