Absolutely brilliant , atmosphere in there was amazing , this time we could see properly I think it was because we sat near the bar and away from the enterance

We were a party of ten. Service was excellent - a relief as it hasn't always been good in the past. The food was excellent, especially the desserts. All in all, a very pleasing dining experience.

Fantastic steak and fry's. Cooked just right followed by peach crumble with ice cream. Not forgetting 2 kie royals and as it was such a wonderfully warm evening they had the large windows open.

Service was pleasant but erratic, one side never arrived and we had to re-order one desert. Food was bland and rather dry. So, OK but nothing special

I am a regular diner at Cote and have been since it opened. I find the service is always cheerful and attentive and the food most acceptable.

We ere after a quick supper after work and had a lovely seat near window, great service and tasty food and wine. What more could you want!

the tables were too closely packed together , we were served hot wine but this had to be changed , the waiter was very pleasant and tried his best .

the service was good as ever. the asparagus risotto was a little bit stodgy, and not up to the usual standard that is expected from Cote.

I have visited many cotes restaurants and have never found fault, the menu is fantastic and the consistency of quality of food is amazing. Outstanding.

Two of our party had the tuna salad which turned out to be over cooked rather like leather. The service was also very poor - I had to go and look for the waitress on three occasions.

Good service , good food ,working mans price . Cote provide consistency in the culinary battle , and rival John Lewis for quality staff . Well done

Nice meal although two fillet steaks a little overcooked for 'medium' and no time to reorder. Otherwise a nice meal up to the standard we have come to expect at Cote.

A warm welcome on arrival. Food was excellent. Good ambience in the busy room. Our waiter, Jean-Victor, went about his job with efficiency and bonhomie. His service was faultless. Cote ticks all the boxes.

Very slow service - 35 minutes to get drinks when others who ordered after us got there's first Breakfast came out in instalments 2 meals were wrong - I asked for a bacon baguette - came out with egg on it - I asked for no egg! They took it away- scraped the egg off and gave it back to me when I should have had a fresh one made

Excellent service. Food quality was really of a high standard. Waiters were attentive to our needs at all times. Main course of roast belly pork was best I have tasted anywhere.

High quality cuisine and a friendly and unhurried atmosphere made for an enjoyable visit. Accessible location near to centre of town, convenient for parking. I thought the choice of affordable red wine could have been wider.

I was extremely impressed with all aspects of my recent visit to Cote. The service was incredibly quick and efficient, particularly considering how busy the restuarant was. We were approached for drinks orders within a few minutes of being seated. When we asked for five more minutes to decide on meals, the hostess returned with perfect timing (my experience in other restaurants has been that if you ask for "a few more minutes" you will be lucky to see your host return at all unless you flag them down). Food was delicious (fantastic steak!), wine list is great, and staff were extremely friendly and clearly knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for providing such an exellent dining experience :)

This is my favourite fish restaurant and one I chose to go back to many more times. The food is cooked fantastic and the service is just as good, friendly and attentive.

Lovely food as always, as well as great service. It was just a bit to hot hence why they did not get top marks. Better air conditioning would be amazing.

Bit noisy, bit busy and service was not brilliant. Food was very good with a wide choice available. One of our waitresses ended her shift half way through our order and we had to reorder drinks which were forgotten about. However we would probably go again at a less busy time.

Excellent service and first class food, delicious!!! Frequently visit and never disappointed. Ideal restaurant if booked for theatre or cocert because of the reliability of service you know you won't be in a panic to eat in time for the performance!

Very good indeed, excellent service from the maitre d and both waiters. The food was great. The only developmental area was, their could have been more vegetables supplied with the main course. Overall a great experience.

Cotes was great good service nice tasty food only thing is i like to tip myself and not have it added on to the bill at the end otherwise wonderful time

It was difficult to get staff attention even thought the resterant wasn't busy. We had to wait a fair amount of time to order coffees and again to attract attention for the bill. When the bill arrived it was wrong, this may have been due to a change of staff. Food was very good though.

Could have been better. Waiter a bit cool, brought the wrong wine, a glass with a huge lipstick stain and a menu for an offer that wasn't actually running. Food only okay not as good as other Cotes I have been to.

We always enjoy our experience at Cote but the omelettes were a little rubbery, should have been softer. Apart from that, the service and ambience was excellent. We had a particularly nice young man serving us.

We have been eating at Cote Brighton for years and always been more than happy with the food and service. Last night, however, was very different The food was very disappointing. Tomoto starter pretty tasteless, salmon fish cakes more Iceland Supermarket standard, steak not served medium rare. Service felt rushed and not very relaxing. It seems standards have slipped.

Staff are all really friendly. Food is top class. 10/10 definitely would eat here again. The steak is tender af. The creme caramel is dank.

I find that Cote always provides consistently good quality food. The staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The venue of the Brighton restaurant is also a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend.

All round excellent! Food... Wine... Service... all top drawer! Friends came down from London for the day and I booked a table for after the matinee performance on a very hot Saturday. We were given a table in the window which was fully open and a gentle breeze accompanied our dinner! Thankyou for a great meal Cote!

Outstanding restaurant ...good choice of dishes ...excellently prepared with wonderful table support. Toilets clean and well presented. My favourite restaurant in Brighton ...but Brighton has many many wonderful eateries.

Always good standard fayre. Service good. Would benefit from a fixed price menu available at all times. The traditional french dishes are often the best.
