Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. They also have a lovely terrace if the weather is fine. All Cote restaurants are good and are excellent value for money.

All staff members were absolutely lovely and welcoming. Took us straight into our table and looked after us throughout the entire duration. Food was brilliant and at a good price. Would definitely go again, could not fault it!

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Cote last night. Asked for a quiet table as it was very busy and got it. Food was speedily delivered and delicious. I would have given a top rating had they not forgotten to bring water - we got it when we reminded them. I'll certainly be going again.

Normally love Cote but service was under par and ordered items forgotten or incorrect on 2/3 courses. Drink spilled by accident but no offer of help given or new napkins goven throughout whole meal, even though the waitress was there when it happened. Charged twice for spilled drinks also. Would have taken service off bill (which was already added to bill, even though there were only 2 and a half covers) but too awkward to ask.

Lovely lunch with the ladies. Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, friendly service. Great value! Menu had lots of variety and everyone loved their choices. Well done!

Wonderful service; they were so attentive. The food was delicious - I had the butterfly chicken breast with mushroom sauce and potato gratin .A perfect night out!

Standards of service have improved busy today but well looked after by waiting staff .Good meal except belly pork overcooked & a little tough in parts

Food good service was reasonable, didn't warrant the 12 1/2 % service charge... summer pavlova was lovely but need more meringue.. good luck with family

Really lovely outdoor courtyard and very friendly staff. The food was very good too and as ever with cote all good value for money. Slight delays in service and a couple of dishes a bit overcooked was all that stops this from being a 6.

My arrival was very smooth - my guest was already waiting at the reserved table after having arrived slightly early. The service was slightly slow as it was a Friday evening and the house was full, however the food was good: there was a wide choice and our selections were very tasty. Despite the full restaurant we were not hurried out and were able to continue our conversation without hassle after the dessert dishes were cleared. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and very reasonably priced.

The online booking system was easy to use. The service was very good. And I was particularly pleased to see that there was a vegetarian menu.

Cote restaurant had Lovely food and very nice ambience and the lunch time set menu is very good value. The complimentary kir royal was appreciated too.

I have been to quite a few cites across the uk and this is the best cote in the whole of England. The staff and food are fantastic.

Just great- table not quite ready but waited outside in the sun with excellent service for drinks. Table superb in the window as requested. Food excellent (Rib-eye steak) . Service spot on, in all made it a very enjoyable night with friends. Thank you

Great atmosphere even on a Tuesday lunchtime. with excellent food and very good service. We are never disappointed. Have also been to the Chichester and Stratford restaurants and they are both as good. Would highly recommend.

As usual the service was efficient and the food great. A friend had to gave dairy free food and they adjusted a meal for her. That's good customer care.

Great food, great service and great wine. We had the early bird menu and it was fantastic value for money and such high quality. Highly recommend!

Good relaxed atmoshere. Portion size fine for light diners (we usually are going to a show/concert) Fond of the chicken being succulent Extra veg pricey.

We have visited Cote many times, sadly last night the service was poor. After waiting over 30 minutes we had to ask for the waiter to take our order, this should not be the case. Having said that the did food did come quickly.

Although our previous experience of dinner have been very good we were both disappointed with some parts of our meal.However,having brought the specific issues to the waiter,we were impressed when, without making a fuss we were reimbursed with the cost of one of the main dishes.We would certainly go to this restaurant again,however as the quality is usually good.

Great restaurant,great service and staff. Steak was first class pity the fries were a little over cooked , should have sent them back but did not ,however did let them know.

Delicious food I can recommend the fillet steak, and the chocolate fondant was perfect, great staff excellent house wine what more can I say !?

Pleased to report that this week service had improved compared to my last visit last week . Food was good but rather surprised the duck parfait from last months set menu was served as the terrine on the set menu ,I didn't mind as I enjoyed the duck parfait last time .It would have been nice to be told it was different from what was stated on the menu .that is why you don't get a perfect score ,we regulars do notice little things like this .

Found it to be tonight a slow and inaccurate service, waiter seemed stressed. Food was barely warm and was either under cooked or over cooked.

Cote Brighton has amazing decadent feel about the place. The breakfast we was amazing, I had the Vegi Breakfast which was very tasty and my husband had the Eggs Benedict which he loved. The staff were both helpful and attentive but never intrusive a perfect experience 5*.

Would have been nicer if the Steak was hotter and we were not rushed so much - felt they wanted to get rid of us as we were served food very quickly before the drinks arrived - then desert - bill took a little longer but they were clearing the table as we were putting our coats on - never been in & out so fast in my life .

We had a pre theatre meal so enjoyed a 3 course dinner for a very reasonable price! Restaurant is clean, modern and stylish and the food a very good standard. Booking on line was simple and we were expected. Service was very good too so we were happy to pay the 12.5% service which was automatically added to our bill.

It was bloody good. Steak cooked to perfection. The boys serving were so helpful. The wine was good. Alas there bread sold out. The restaurant is so regal like an old fashioned bank.

Excellent and helpful staff accommodated us changing booking twice as our Festival show times keep being put back! Service at Cote is just fab and food very good too..

Good value 2 course lunch menu. Food very good, but sadly we all found the portions too generous and had to leave some. Service rather slow - perhaps our server was new.

It was May Bank holiday Sunday and inevitably the restaurant was very busy. Service was generally up to our expected standard but rather slow, probably because it was busy. We had to remind the waitress twice about our wine order. However the food was excellent as usual.

As ever the welcome was warm and the food delicious. We spent a very happy evening and were delighted by the new items on the starter menu. We'll be back soon!

My wife and I were treating my sister and brother-in-law on their 40th wedding anniversary and we were hoping our visit to Cote would be suitably special and memorable. Happily, our expectations were met in lots of ways. The enthusiastic welcome, and attentive service throughout our stay, meant we could concentrate on enjoying our food and conversation. All of us were impressed by the quality of our individual menu choices which were not only delicious but also presented with care and flair. If I had to point to one downside it was that the first pouting of white wine was not as chilled as it should have been. However, it arrived at the table with an ice bucket, which meant that subsequent pourings were fine. Altogether a really pleasurable experience.

love the food - but I had booked for a working lunch with a colleague under my name - I arrived early and was seated but when she arrived she was told I wasn't there and was seated elsewhere - I did not see her - so we were waiting for each other to arrive for 45 minutes (her phone was out of order). I think this was the restaurant's fault.

We had rare steak, 1 was more like blue steak than rare so has to be sent back, but the staff were so understanding and helpful, they even gave us some discount on the meal without us asking, we loved the both steaks and had a great time!

WE HAVE BEEN LOYAL DINERS AT COTE FOR MANY YEARS - MAINLY IN BRIGHTON BUT ALSO LONDON. WE CHOOSE COTE BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS GREAT, THE PRE-THEATRE MENU IS GOOD VALUE AND THE FOOD IS CONSISTENTLY GOOD. REGRETABLY THIS COULD NOT BE SAID OF OUR LAST TWO VISITS TO BRIGHTON. THE CHICKEN (FROM THE A LA CARTE MENU) WAS VERY OVERCOOKED ON ONE OCCASION, AS WAS THE SEABASS LAST NIGHT. MY ASPARAGUS STARTER WAS ALSO TOUGH AND STRINGY. PERHAPS THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE OF CHEF, OR WE HAVE BEEN UNLUCKY. LET'S HOPE IT'S THE LATTER!

Really nice , good food, good value and friendly efficient service . The restaurant was busy but as there is plenty of space between the tables it wasn't too noisy and didn't feel crowded. Our family all enjoyed their meals.

Lovely greeting at the door, they gave us a nice table and complimentary kir royal as it was our anniversary :) food was great as usual 👌🏻

Always awesome food and is our go to for a relaxed meal out. I just wish the less experienced waiting staff would stop interrupting my conversations with 'is everything ok with your food'!

All the food and the service was excellent. Would have been good to have olive oil dip with bread and olives. Otherwise, an excellent meal.

Pleasant meal. Noisy venue. Staff a bit distracted, made several errors in serving and had to be reminded what to bring, including cutlery and water! Seemed to be getting things from other tables rather than all tables already set.

I have been going to Cote Brighton for many years and have never had a bad meal. The staff are always polite and very helpful. if you do go have the apple crumble for desert its wonderful.

Our waiter was attentive, and gave us the best service. Thank you we will definitely go there again. The Pork belly with calvados is what I would recommend

I have been to Cote on numerous occasions and the place never fails to impress. The service is friendly and efficient and the food is always great. The ambience is cool too!

Always good standard of food and level of service. Early eve menu is very good value. Not made to feel rushed. Would definitely recommend. Best to book as gets busy.
