Have had a lovely evening meal at Cote Watford. Food was perfect and service was friendly and attentive. Definitely will come back, finally a great local restaurant!
We had a excellent breakfast this morning with excellent service
Great food, great staff, lovely menu and good ambience. Superb evening.
Staff were attentive, helpful and pleasant. They also were very service orientated. Very impressed! We have been to several branches over the years and this one was the best experience by far. Well done.
A restaurant´s atmosphere sets the stage. Cote lived at to my expectations in terms of decoration, service and food. The place is romantically and stylish decorated with a faint light that makes the restaurant quite cosy and confortable to stay and enjoy a lovely dinner. However, the tables are a bit too close and you may feel heard by people next to you. Not a big deal, though. I was recommended this restaurant a few times and I totally agree about this as the food is delicious. The menu is not too long, there is no a wide range of food, but I guess they offer their specialty. We ordered Salmon and Mushroom Risotto. The fish was perfectly cooked with a healthy salad as side. the risotto looked creamed and the flavor was... delicious, not too salty and a glimpse of mushroom taste. The service treated us fabulously well. They were caring and always with a smile on their faces. I also made a special request as we were celebrating something, this was a dessert with a special message, they followed it to the book and it was really surprising for my girlfriend as she didn't´t expect it. This made the dinner even more special.
Took my Daughters to lunch today as the eldest was celebrating a birthday. As usual a nice friendly welcome to the restuarant and we were quickly shown to our table. The wiater was attentive but gave enough time and space for us to select drinks and our food order. A complimentary glass of fizz for brought for the birthday girl. Nice touch is bringing over water for the table. Food was brought to table steaming hot and was delicious apart from the birthday girls meal as she had plumped for the goats cheese salad, which she alo thought very good but so much she just couldn't manage it. The Daughters had a dessert and again a lovely touch was the waiter brought the birthday girl her dessert with a candle in it and sang happy birthday to her. She did admit to loving the attention. All in all a great experience, we will be back.
I booked a table for surprise "Baby shower" on Saturday, for my friend. It was our first ever visit there, and what a great experience we had! We were late (an hour!), and the table still was ready for us. The customer service was just excellent! Haven't been in the restaurant recently where staff would be so caring, helpful and make every minute so special. The only down side was that I had an email to receive free bottle of wine, which I asked to swap for the soft drinks (waitress agreed to that), but we still were charged for them. I would like to thank all Cote Brasserie Stuff, who made my friend feeling so special during this exciting time (the beautiful personalised, drawn card by you- It was so lovely), especially Samuel who was looking after us that evening- thanks Samuel! I’m reluctant to review positively in case word gets out about how inexpensive it is here!!!! But that’s unfair!! So: It’s always so lovely here, the venue, the staff, the food and the wine! Service as always is attentive but not overbearing and the food cooked perfectly. I keep saying I’m going to order something other than the calamari, but so far I haven’t managed it! We had a full three course lunch for 7 (2 for a couple of our party) and one alcoholic drink each and it came to only £205 including service charge! I think picking times slightly out of the busy period is good - 1.30 for lunch instead of 12.30 meant it wasn’t too busy and noisy. Also popped in on other occasions for just coffee and pudding or a light lunch. They are always very accommodating!
I booked at Côte Watford today as it was my parents’ 47th wedding anniversary and we have previously had excellent meals and service there. Yet again, both the service and the food were faultless. My partner mentioned something to my parents about sitting next to each other for their anniversary lunch and the waiter clearly overheard. When we went to order champagne he said he was bringing us complimentary Kir Royales! I shared the Châteaubriand steak with my mother and it was divine. Everything was. Every member of staff was welcoming and super efficient without being intrusive. Whoever is managing this branch is doing a fantastic job and has picked a great team to do it with. Once more, we left talking about how we’ll be going back soon. Thank you!
There were 4 of us. Cote's service is excellent. We didn't feel rushed when making our choices. The set lunch menu had a great selection to choose from. When we asked, a dish was explained. When each course was brought to us, the waiter knew who had ordered what - so it felt like we weren't just a number. From the time of arriving and during our meal, it was clear that this was going to be an enjoyable experience. At the end of the meal, we all commented on how we enjoyed our food. My choice of the cherry tomato salad, omelette, and the chocolate pot will be one of my highlights when I can get to Cote of a lunch time. And the price - for the quality of the food, service and setting we couldn't believe it - £13.50 a head! Actually I might be back this Friday!
