Early days for this location but service and food generally good. We did have a delay with initial drinks order and although there were a number of “managers” overseeing other staff there did not appear to be assistance given to the lone barman....

We have been going to Cotes at St Albans for many years every Friday evening - so pleased that one has now opened in Watford so we will alternate our venues at cotes.

It was a pleasure dining here, the service was sublime from when I made the booking. Staff were very helpful and professional. We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would recommend it to anyone wanting a stress free, enjoyable evening out.

A lovely meal. Polite attentive service and really tasty French food.

Booked a table for two for 7.45 pm and arrived early at 6.55pm as we were very hungry. We were met at the door by one of the managers who was very pleasant and seated straight away. From that point it went completely downhill. In a nutshell we were totally ignored with an abundance of staff passing our table with absolutely no acknowledgment. Sadly after twenty five minutes of no staff contact, no drink, nothing, we decided to leave and find somewhere else to eat. The manager was very apologetic and tried to persuade us to stay but we were really very disappointed. We are local to Watford and were really looking forward to the opening of Cote having visited the chain on numerous occasions.

Very Busy Father’s Day lunchtime. Staff polite but unfortunately Kitchen not capable of keeping up with the orders. 3 of 5 meals obviously held under the serving heaters far too long.

Really fantastic food and great service. Lovely varied menu for food and drinks. A great atmosphere made better by attentive staff who were happy and willing to help. We always have a great meal at cote.

I didn't catch his name, but our waiter, who is from Galicia, was wonderful. He was attentive without being intrusive and detail-oriented-he told me how long I'd have to wait for my well done steak. Service was excellent overall and we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was great as well!

lovely venue great staff good food beer is overpriced set menu is good value our drinks waiter accidentally spilled a bottle of beer which went over one of our groups clothes but it was handled quickly and effectively... accidents happen would recommend

We had a vey lovely belated mother’s day lunch. Both ,y mother and father. Really enjoyed there meal as did I. We will definitely be comeing back to Côte Brasserie Watford. And will be very happy to recermend Côte Brasserie Watford to our friends

Party of 4 were booked, plus an 1 more at last notice. Very accommodating visit. Amazing breakfasts, excellent service and very as always a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. When we left, every staff member said goodbye. Very nice. Will always come for breakfast in future, as opposed to other local choices. Lovely food......can't wait to try dinner !!!!

We’ve had a great evening celebrating a family birthday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was very tasty, the beef bourgignon was a particular highlight. We had complimentary kir royals for my husbands birtday. The restaurant was spacious but intimate. Looking forward to returning soon.

Lovely friendly welcome as you enter the restuarant. Glad I had booked as the restuarant got very busy and we did see people unable to get a table. All the staff were friendly and helpful nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was served piping hot and was of a high quality and was really good value. The whole evening was very enjoyable. I only have one small criticism I don't like the service charge being automatically added to my bill. I like to show my appreciation of the service which in this case wass excellent.

Delicious food served in one of the nice private booths over a catch up with a good friend. We think it may have been our waiter's first night though he was very pleasant and always asked for help if he didn't know the answer.

Really good service even though it was busy a very attentive and efficient waiter. It is nicely set out and a great menu. I had the steak which was lovely and my good lady had the sea bream which she really enjoyed. A great experience and we will certainly be going back.

The food was superb, Timing between courses spot on 10/10. Seating was comfortable and background music excellent. Would thoroughly recommend for any occasion, well done Watford Branch!

Air conditioning was either too low or not working, as was very hot. Server very good, food very nice. Complementary drinks were initially charged on bill, had to ask to have them removed

This restaurant now goes on my “visit regularly” list. It is consistent in all aspects of quality, service and atmosphere. A fillet steak that is superior to the offerings of other established brands at that price range.

We were slightly apprehensive given the restaurant is newly opened but we had a lovely lunch. Very attentive staff. Excellent food nicely presented. The glazed carrots were exceptional!! Altogether a delightful dining experience and one we'll be repeating in the very near future.

The restaurant was lovely and clean as was the cutlery and glasses etc. The waitress who served us was polite and friendly. It's very expensive to eat here but for special occasions then it's definitely worth a visit. My husband and I shared an appetiser and had a starter each which we enjoyed. I had Swordfish which I had to return. It was rubbery and parts of it had a foul smell so I assume it was off. I spoke to the waitress who in turn called the Manager, without a fuss he removed my plate and asked if I'd like to reorder, which I did, it was a chicken dish, it was reasonably priced, I've had similar elsewhere so nothing too different. My husband ordered Beef Bourgion, overall he wasn't too impressed with it, he spent a lot of time picking out the fat, at a price of £16, it was poor value for money. I would give this place a go again, we might have been unlucky but if the food isn't much better the next time then we'll call it a day at Cote Brasserie.

A lovely, friendly welcome and great service throughout made for a great meal. The food in Cote is always good quality and well presented and prepared; it is one of the best mid-range restaurants and a welcome addition to the High street in Watford.

I had the gluten free breakfast which was delicious, staff were friendly, polite and helpful and fully aware of my gluten free needs. Will definitely be back and would recommend you to my friends and family.
