About Da Antonio
Italians have made an enormous influence on Scottish cuisine over the years, from the pescado frito that became the fish supper to the pizza crunch, and their contribution shows no sign of ending. Their bread and butter – or bruschetta and olive oil, if you will – remains the family-friendly restaurant, and at Da Antonio on Campbell Street in Hamilton, they have an Italian that stands in the grand tradition. Antonio Tartaglia has been cooking in Glasgow since 1980, and he has brought all his experience to bear on the food at Da Antonio, with an Italian menu that takes in all the classics: antipasti, pastas, meat and fish dishes and a wide range of sides and cheeses. Wash it down with some selections from their extensive wine list and you’re well on your way to a great night out in Glasgow. Book a table now.

Excellent and friendly service, with a nice balanced atmosphere, in a perfectly proportioned intimate setting. The food was authentic and first class. Obviously has its regulars, which tells you a lot. This will not be our only visit. Must add that the chef also took time out to talk to everyone. Nice touch.
My wife and I had a great night at the restaurant the food was excellent and the service was great the ambiance is very intimate because the restaurant is small look forward to our next visit.
Lovely home cooked food in a friendly atmosphere. The owner was on hand chatting with customers. Nice Italian experience . Restaurant upstairs above local bar
Fabulous atmosphere glorious food! We booked DaAntonio for the second time having really enjoyed ourselves on a previous visit. We think the authentic Italian food is of the highest quality and the staff couldn't be more welcoming!
A fantastic experience at Da Antonio! Our welcome and service was friendly, the food was superb and we will definitely be making a return in the near future. The quality of the food was excellent with a wide variety of dishes and some outstanding specials such as the lobster ravioli and veal parmigiana. Superb restaurant with a nice relaxed feel and nothing is too much trouble. Loved it!
We have been to Da Antonio's several times. Great service - attentive without being intrusive. We had a look at the Early Dinner menu but opted for the a la carte. Food was very tasty.
Although it was small, and very quiet, the food was amazing. The staff were very friendly, and the chef himself came to ask how our meal was. We were allowed to eat and enjoy our meal at our own pace, and the service and timing between courses was perfect. We will definately go back here,
A delightful little fmily run Restaurant above a bar . The food is well cooked and presented. No request was too much trouble for Antonio, who has time for each of his customers. The wine list is small but perfectly formed. A little treasure of a place , that we will rturn to
Was here with six friends for dinner tonight fantastic food was delicious and very friendly staff . Will definitely be back. Was a bit disappointed we were not offered the pre theatre menu as we were in the restaurant at that time but apart from that enjoyed our meal.
First time visit and was really impressed with this restaurant. Food was very tasty and staff very pleasant and attentive. Special mention to the young waitress who's care and attention to a table of guests who required some extra assistance was lovely to see. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening and we will definitely return.
We have dined here before and again last night which was brilliant. We took friends who had never been and they were not disappointed. Food was lovely, nice service and delicious wine. The homemade tiramisu is a must!! Can't wait to return.
Really Nice food, and good value. Staff are all very helpful, and make it a pleasure to go in. We went for the early evening menu, but will certainly return for the full a la carte. Nice, informal atmosphere and family friendly.
Lovely staff, very welcoming and courteous, happy to chat and have a laugh with us. Food was lovely and filling, everyone at our table had a great meal and was very satisfied. Would certainly return and plan to very soon.
Lovely meal. Attentive service. Good value. We ate from the a la carte menu but 3 of us wanted the Italian stew which is only on the pre theatre menu....this was no problem for the chef. We will return.
Cosy restaurant with very friendly staff. Food was exceptional right across the board as we had a mix of traditional from the a la carte menu and the specials. Fantastic, will be back again.
Food was amazing, kids even loved the smoked salmon and my T-Bone was delicious! Every time we go there, we try something different, and it never disappoints. Looking forward to our next visit.
