Very nice evening. Enjoyed my food but my espresso was not the best. The waitress was very pleasant. I have been going to Dantes for many years and will be going again in the future

Having lunch at the Halfway House was a very nice experience. Greated and served by pleasant staff and to enjoy very nice and tasty food made for a great afternoon spent with family. Thankyou.

Very slow service; appeared far too busy for the numbers of staff present. The restaurant is open plan and was very noisy rendering conversation difficult. Food presentation was good but the lamb was so undercooked it was largely inedible and the majority of it left on the plate. The pudding was plentiful and good quality. Overall, the main course was so poor it would probably be adviseable to keep to simple pasta based dishes. Overall costs for two- £75 Inc wine.

Average. Food was ok but service was not the best. There wasn’t a member of staff dedicated to looking after us. We waiting a long amount of time for both starter and main then again waiting for our dish to be cleared. It was poorly organised.

No children's menu says offered even though we had 3 children in our party. Not all main meals served together . Both pizzas served after some of our party had finished eating.

It was a pretty reasonable visit to the restaurant but unfortunately the £16/17 chicken kebab i ordered was very dry which was a bit disappointing.

Lovely food, attentive waitress and nice wine. Hugely recommended by both of us. Our second visit did not disappoint and will return again later in the year.

Went for a family meal, we all really enjoyed ourselves. Catered for a dairy allergy with no issues. Portions are a little large, so think carefully if you’re having multiple courses.

Great food. Service was s little slow and waiter kept forgetting to bring things. Children's drinks, then adult drinks then coffees. It wasn't very busy so not sure why. But overall was good and we would return. Thankyou

Out of the 4 of us, only 1 enjoyed their starter and 2 enjoyed their main courses. It took a long time to get the attention of staff and then drinks took a long time to arrive, although the staff themselves were nice and helpful. Nice location and good atmosphere but food and wait for drinks service was a let down.

It was very busy and disappointed that the starter was served with the main course. It had obviously been forgotten so they brought it all out together. Food was nice.

Food generally good starter could have been a bit hotter. Disappointing to see children running around the restaurant. 2nd time we've been and children running around, and not little children either. From a health and safety point could have easily knocked a waiter with food or drinks over.

Lovely meal and excellent service from pleasant staff. Just found the noise level excessive. Tables are very close together and we found it difficult to totally relax.

Great food however ended up being quite expensive as we originally ordered from the set menu but we're given the standard desert menu so cost a lot more than was expected in the end.

Group of 4 pre booked and shown straight to table (5 out of 5) Drinks prices very pricey (3 out of 5) 4 mains ordered, 3 pizzas and a pasta dish. All came quick and my pasta dish was very nice but I thought it should be a bigger potion for the price or should come with a side salad . Pizza of my wife's (I tried a slice) was good except the base of the pizza was slightly burned and gave a slight bitter burned taste that I do not like. (4 out of 5)

Lovely food, generous portions and good prices, however the service was poor. 20 minutes before we were offered drinks. The restaurant wasn't busy but appeared understaffed.

This is a lovely restaurant with beautiful food and attentive staff. We dined on the 3 course £12.95 menu and found the courses plentiful. When next in the area I'm sure we will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Dantes, the food was lovely and very well cooked and the atmosphere was very relaxed but the service was very quick and the staff friendly
