Located along the banks of the Moyola River in Magherafelt, Dawsons Restaurant is British dining at its best. Cosy and stylish, with a menu that’s been carefully curated to show the best of local and seasonal produce, you’ll be in food-heaven at this Castledawson spot. You’ll find a range of tasty options including wild mushroom risotto; smoked cod with a poached egg, potatoes and leek and a particularly delicious Slaney Valley lamb shoulder that’s well worth a try. You’ll find Dawsons Restaurant along Main Street where booking ahead is essential to avoid disappointment.
From the minute we entered the restaurant to leaving we received excellent service and delicious hot food. The waiting staff were lovely and very friendly. I have no hesitation in giving Dawson’s top marks.
First time eating in Dawson’s and it was absolutely delicious.Staff so pleasant and accommodating, service was great and the food was really nicely presented as well. One great point for me is there brilliant wine list, finally a list with some interesting wines not just the usual Chilean house white option if you want it by the glass.Look forward to returning soon
This was our second visit. The food was first class! We enjoyed every bit of it. Friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit you won’t be disappointed!
Very pleasant evening. Food was great and staff were all lovely, very pleasant and helpful. We had the early board, Good value for money. We will definitely be back.
All was very good. Excellent service, food, atmosphere . The only reason why I am giving 5 instead of 6 points is the noise. Next to us was a birthday party - probably the reason we hardly heard each other
Excellent service and menu was diverse .The dishes we chose were perfectly cooked and we weren't kept waiting even though the restaurant was full. We would be very happy to recommend Dawson's restaurant.
