Fantastic time at Death Row Diner fabulous friendly and helpful staff. Could not fault the food at all. Starters were plenty and very tasty indeed. Had mac and cheese bites, calamari and nachos. All had burgers and different chips. Very very yummy! My little boy loved the lollipops in the burgers and was asking us if he could have ours. The waiter heard him and brought a handful over to him. He can't wait to go back - neither can I.

Food was great, with quick and efficient service. Prices were responsible and location in the city centre was easy to get too, through bus links etc.

The food was absolutely gorgeous, our drinks came rather quickly ordered, and our food, although not exactly quick, came at a perfectly reasonable time. The staff are very kind and polite, and clearly are invested in helping provide a quality experience to the diner. The setting was also very, very lovely, a definitive turn for the better from most other restaurants I have been to. I would most certainly go again, either for another birthday meal, or simply as a nice Friday meal with friends.

Good service, not too busy, but food wasn't as good as I expected and a little pricey. Good if you want something a bit different though and don't mind a £50(ish) bill for two sharing a starter.

A fantastic dive diner with amazing food. I go here regularly and enjoy the wings, mac n cheese starter and the burgers. Staff are fun and friendly and would recommend to anyone visiting the city.

The food was really lovely but it was super quiet on a Saturday night and not really much atmosphere. I'd go back though as the food was lovely.

It was okay but wouldn't go back, we went for an early dinner and to have their steak night offer. When we arrived the waiter didn't know about the offer and the. Eventually came back with the Mamie for the steak night but with the two cheapest option not available. They had advertised the offer on Facebook but didn't seem to have the options available. Service was slow, seating on folding chairs not great, table was dirty The plus side was the food was good but have had betger

We had a great experience at the Death row Diner recently. Food was delicious and staff were more than helpful. I have rated this a four as I would like to see a more selective menu (last meal requests) and also the theme seemed lost. The restaurant should focus more on the theme as we were interested in the concept but felt like at the moment it's more of a burger bar.

8:30 booking on Tuesday night, very empty so quick service and the still had burnt brisket ends! No shrimp so we got a rack of ribs with Frank's hot sauce instead which were delicious. Salted caramel pretzel milkshake was worth the visit alone!

Fantastic food. But, spoiled experience by rap music blasting out which was full of expletives. Kind of place I'd take my children for its look and great food but wouldn't now as I wouldn't want them exposed to music like this. Come on DRD, let your food do the talking not the music !!

Absolutely brilliant, burgers are big but really tasty. The best I've ever had. Avoid the buffalo colleflour though as it was very very spicy (like seriously, I've never had anything hotter)

Delicious food, and lots of it!! Nachos, onion rings and mac and cheese starters all delicious. There were no prawns our chilli when we visited, but the chilli dog and eraser head were still nice without chilli. Very friendly staff but service was slow.

Great ambience, friendly staff and tasty food. However, the meals took a long time to arrive (despite the restaurant being empty) and £5.50 for two small onion rings is not value for money.

We had high expectations as a few friends had recommended trying the place, so thought we'd have an early dinner prior to a show we were going to later that evening. However we were very disappointed by the level of service, despite the quality of the food being very good. We arrived at 17:30 and our show was due to start shortly after 19:30, I think many people would reasonably assume that two hours is enough time to grab dinner. However despite arriving just before 17:30, we had a very long wait for the food. The starters came out relatively quickly, maybe within 30 minutes. However the mains were a long wait (we'd only ordered burgers from the standard menu, nothing special) and a couple sat next to us who had arrived 20mins after we did received their mains first! By 19:00 our mains had still not arrived, we got them about 5 mins later and had to request the bill right away so that we were able to leave straight after eating. Unfortunately as we had to eat the meal so quickly, we both felt ill afterwards too. There was nothing to fault with the food itself, it was very tasty, but it took far too long to come out and the service itself was slow as it was difficult to get the staffs attention. It wasn't a particularly busy evening and it was quite frustrating seeing deliveroo orders being sent out of the kitchen at frequent intervals, I can only assume there was either an issue in the kitchen causing the delay or takeout orders were being prioritised over diners in the actual restaurant. Definitely did not live up to the hype I've heard, however we did agree it would be worth trying again as everywhere has off nights on occasion, although we definitely would never go here when we have any plans afterwards!

At least 3 menu items (milkshakes, lasagna bites and pastrami fries) not available on my visit. Drinks very expensive. Food was bland, service was quite slow although friendly. Doesn't really feel as though they have committed to the whole "death row" theme - in all, a huge let down and absolutely not worth the walk out of the city centre or the relatively high prices.

Excellent meal and great atmosphere. The Death Row Dive & Diner may have 'Dive' in its name but it isn't a dive in the traditional sense. It is a must for anyone visiting the city, near to the Everyman and Philharmonic, it could just be the ideal place to start an epic night out. Well done DRD.

Good food, not as busy on a saturday night as I thought it would be. Closes around 10 so not a place you can stay and have a few. We did have a billing issue but was quickly sorted. Be aware that this is one of those places that put a service charge on your bill without asking. The friendly staff would have gotten a tip from us but making a mandatory service charge is not favourable.

Overall food that good and service was great, but I do have a few problems thought the table we was seat at had food from previous customers long the side of the table which was slightly off putting; I visited the toilet and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned and the hand dryer didn't. Overall the food was lovely freshly cook which is good , the lady who was serving us was very polite and helped us ordering.

Fantastic meal at Death Row Diner for my birthday. We particularly enjoyed the lasagne bites, burnt ends and bacon onion rings for starters. I had a chilli dog with pulled pork fries for main, which was delicious, but I was still eyeing my friend's Rancheros Bastardos burger somewhat jealously! Excellent cocktails as well. Everyone in the party was really impressed with out experience and I think we'll all be paying another visit soon!
